excellent hôtel ,ça aurait été parfait si la propreté y était rien d'alarmant je parle des poussières sur les rideaux.Seul défaut, la distance de la ville sinon très bon rapport qualité prix

l hotel est tres sympa et les chambres sont vraiment agreable et grande mais le personnel casi inexistant et quand il est present, ce n est pas leur emabilité qui ns saute au visage !!!!!! ns avons eu la malchance d arriver alors que l hotel ete occupé par des jeunes venu pr le travail (ou autre) donc trés trés bruyant et personne pr leur dde de faire […] moin de bruit !!!! et surtout il se trouve a au moin 30 minutes de tt ce qui a de l interet sur los angeles ! je dis au moin une demi heure car los angeles est comme paris , il y a trés souvent des embouteillages !!!!!le petit dej ete compris mais inexistant aussi , heureusement il y a de quoi manger dans les environs !!!! dommage que ts ces points negatif fasse oublier que l hotel est propre et les chambre tres agreable ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour cet hôtel bien placé près d'une autoroute, mais néanmoins très calme et confortable.

Très bien dans l'ensemble mais malheureusement un peu trop éloigné des principaux centres d'intérêt. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

I had a great time here at Howard Johnson. It is very clean and convenient (ie close to the outlets). There are restaurants within walking distance. It is very affordable which means the bed, pillow and service is basic, but I did not feel this disrupted by stay here at all. It was very comfortable and clean and that is all I ask. Need to get some decent pillows. WIFI needs to be in all rooms also digital TV

I booked rooms for myself, sisters and brother. I was embarrassed at the condition of the rooms. Torn bedspreads, dingy towels, sloppy repairs in bathroom, no kleenex, no coffee pots in rooms, late breakfast and sparse offerings (donuts and cold cereal). Bath tub did not drain well.

My husband and I go in to have a little bit of coffee and maybe juice. We walk in there is a pitcher of warm milk on a counter no ceral, no danish, an empty juice machine! So then went to get coffee again none! It was 8:30am! So what do they serve?! Just an idea of free breakfast!

We booked this hotel in Pico Rivera to be near family living in town. The hotel was very low-amenity, but the location and price were right for us. Unfortunately, our staf was marred by a party in another hotel room, with loud music going until 2am. I wish the hotel staff would have done something about that, but they seemed non-existent.

This hotel was much nicer than other Howard Johnson's we have stayed at. There was plenty of room, in fact we booked a single king and got a 2 room suite. It looked like most of the rooms were set up the same way. The Wi-Fi worked well in our room, but there was no coffee maker and the phone would not call out. There was coffee available in the lobby […] after 7:00am so it worked out. There were fast food restaurants, a laundromat and grocery store nearby and an awesome steakhouse next door. The hotel is ok but is very noisy from the aircrafts overhead and traffic close by.

adequate motel. clean. good neighborhood. beds were listed as queen, but looked more like double and were not very comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and very affordable. It was a great place to stay inexpensively with easy access to visit all the sights in LA. Convenient access to interstate, restaurants, fast food, and laundry mat. Would highly recommend

The first issue for me is that the hotel is not very obvious, and when travelling eastbound on Whittier Boulevard you are likely not to see it until it's too late. The rooms are indeed suites which makes travelling with a group easier. Pluses include the decent sized refrigerator, negatives included the limited rack for hanging up clothes, the fact […] that climate control is in the front room only and barely penetrates to the bedroom area at the back. A timer set into the device does not allow it to run continuously more than 15 or 20 minutes at most. Worst of all, the walls between bedrooms are very thin and i had the misfortune of sleeping on the other side of the wall for a snorer with sleep apnea in the next room. The sound of the snorer came right through the wall only slightly muffled by the wall and my ear plugs :). If you want a cheap, clean place to stay for a couple days max, and don't mind hearing your neighbors through the bedroom walls this place will meet your needs Lisez la suite

This hotel is well taken care of and in a decent neighborhood. I jogged down Whittier in the morning and overall, felt safe. It is close to stores, shopping, interstate, etc. My only complaints are the wifi signal is so weak that you cannot get it in your room and the housekeepers are extremely loud. They chat and shout back and forth to each other. […] It wasn't a problem for us because we were awake, but if I was sleeping, I would be aggravated. There is free cereal, donuts and coffee but get there soon because it runs out by the end of breakfast. Also, there is an outdoor pool but no fitness room. Lisez la suite

Room was clean, but the tv was broken. The breakfast was only cereal and doughnuts, and the coffee was gone and juice machine was broken.

My friend and I came to L.A. for a music festival and stayed only one night. HoJo was the best value we found online for what we were looking for. I recommend this motel for someone who's in town for a short stay and doesn't plan to spend much time at the hotel. Clean and comfortable, but no coffee maker in the room. Bummer.

We managed this hotel because everyother hotel in the LA area was booked. The hotel was over 45mins from downtown LA. The hotel was clean and manageble. Just need to upgrade their furniture.

Better facility than some reviewers reported. Granite appointments in bath area. No trouble with noise but was on second floor and not near staircase. Towels were well worn. Exterior signage minimal and drove past the motel on first pass. Felt safe. Numerous retailers and restaurants present within a half mile. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.

Although the room was clean, the beds were hard and uncomfortable. Also, although this is probably a nitpicky thing, the sheets were all flat instead of having a fitted sheet on the bottom. We had to remake the whole beds several times because the sheets wouldn't stay on the beds. The staff was bordering on rude. They were disinterested and unhelpful. […] The "continental breakfast" was a joke! The juice machine was broken, they had a very limited supply of donuts and when my son got some cereal, there was a bug in it. As far as the neighborhood, we heard "fireworks" that sounded more like gunfire both night we were there. I even called 911 one night because of it. I will say that when I called 911, the night manager came to our room to make sure we were okay. That was the highlight of our stay. The problems are easily rectified and if they are, this would be a good place to stay. It is close to the freeway and other services. Lisez la suite

If you do not care the quality of the room, just want a place to take shower and sleep for couple hours, then i think this is a good motel to stay. Since you will be out and tour around LA area, you will not be in the room all the time anyway. We chose it just because it was ok deal. Room was ok, but do not expect spotless bedsheet, blanket, bathtub, […] carpet, iron board etc. (actually all of them have some spots!! :) ) Same thing for breakfast - cheap coffee, tea and milk for two types of cereals. Toilet paper, tissue, shampoo are all cheap styles. We were ok since we knew we got what we paid for so we were well prepared bring our own shampoo, tissues, etc. We did not take the breakfast since we plan to to eat outside breakfast. You can stay nicer hotel paying a lot more and we decided to use the additional money to pay for our breakfast/lunch/dinner/gas/tickets/etc...so it worked out ok for us not over spending. Room got microwave and refrig so it works well that we placed out left over food for next day snack or small meals. motel was located on the road side, originally we were worried about the noise, i guess we were so tired every nite after long day out touring, we knocked out without hearing any with the door close....so you figure out if you wanna stay there...good luck....will i stay again, properly will just because it was cheap...not because of the quality.... For the price a very good hotel. Wanted something closer to the Outlet Mall(its 12mins away). Clean and well kept. Choice in continental breakfast was bad

Safe location, convinient if you have a car.would stay again, big and clean rooms.

The hotel was satisfactory. It seemed understaffed, I tried to call the front desk and no one ever answered. There wasn't an internet connction at all. It wasn't as conviently located as the map led me to believe, it wasn't less than 30 minutes away from LA....almost an hour.

The place was easy enough to find.room was comfortable.had a working refrigerator and microwave inside the room which was appreciated. It is is a bit further away to most sites to see in los angeles....but not too inconvenient.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Clean rooms, but the walls are very thin, you can hear the people talking next door. Each morning at 4:30am someone would honk their car horns, not sure if they were picking someone up... and when we arrived for the continental breakfast at 9am it consisted of a small amount of cheerios, a small amount of frosted flakes, […] and nothing else. Not even milk. Just plan to go to breakfast. Front desk staff was nice and the hotel is around a nice shopping area. It is a nice place for someone on a budget. Lisez la suite

The hotel is conveniently located in a safe surrounding and has lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms were satisfactory, comfortable and clean for the price. Even complimentary breakfast was made available, but not much of a variety. Had to make a request everyday for room cleaning at the reception. Other than that, everything was pretty good, good […] parking, centrally located just about 15-20 mins from major tourists locations. Would definately recommend. Lisez la suite

the most uncomfortalble beds i ever slept in

The service was great. We stayed for a few days and each day our room was cleaned and all linens were changed. The staff was wonderful. Thanks for the donuts!!
