Hotel Rubinstein - Cracovie

We rented 2 basic rooms and they were really nice, nice furniture and bathrooms in marble, roof beams, same character as on pictures. The view was not on Szeroka street, since they were basic rooms, but on another street, with a bit of traffic but ok. Concert in the hotel twice a week.

The Rubinstein was very good. It is an old building very tastefully renovated and it's a nice touch having the before and after photographs on display. The breakfast was very good and the cooked options we found really tasty....the pancakes are recommended! Staff are very helpful and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The only downside […] (and it's not the Hotel's fault) is we had a room at the back and had the early morning tram noise. Ask for room away fom the back and problem is solved. Lisez la suite

Stayed at Rubenstein for 3 nights, enjoyed both Breakfast (complimentary) and Dinner where our Gluten free needs were satisfied. Staff were helpful and provided assitance with tours / directions and support with wheelchair person in our party. Location is good for exploring being 15 mins from old town which is gloroius. Had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Rubinstein. The staff were very very helpful and friendly. Located in the Jewish Quarter there were many good restaurants all around. Had a brill breakfast every morning which set us up for the day. Would recomment this hotel and I would definately book there if I was coming back to Kracow!

I have so much that I would like to say about this absolutely wonderful hotel and staff. The location was perfect. We spent 4 nights there and the staff went out of their way to help us with everything. They were almost like our personal tour guides. We have been to 5 star hotels that did not make us feel comfortable and did not provide any more services […] than this hotel. Charming. Breakfast was superb. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Rubenstein Hotel a few days ago (March 2011). It was excellent and incredibly romantic. The hotel made the entire stay. We were very much at home, enjoyed great luxury and the friendliest of staff. They were very helpful in arranging a trip to Auschwitz for us and even a driver to return us to the airport. This is an old hotel with very quaint furnishings. The room is a bit dark but comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and updated. The breakfast buffet was by far the best we have encountered in Europe so far. We would recommend this hotel for anyone.

This hotel was fantastic and I was very satisfied with my stay. I had needed the weekend away for quite some time, and having built it up so much, I was worried the hotel would end up being an anti-climax. Fortunately, this was not the case. In particular, I had been nervous about making a booking through hotels.com and getting such a 'bargain' price, […] but now I'm a convert and have many new trips planned. The hotel is located right on a central square in the Jewish quarter, with a number of good restaurants right on the door step (go two doors down to an Italian/Jewish restaurant and order the beef carpaccio and duck!). The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed, extremely high levels of cleanliness and the room (as well as the hotel) was very tastefully decorated. In particular, the bathroom was gorgeous, the shower was powerful and the renovation of the whole place blended the modern with the historical. If I had to make a complaint about the room, it would be a tiny niggle - I couldn't find the minibar prices listed anywhere. Breakfast was exellent, with many choices (including smoked salmon, which always wins me over). If I had to make one criticism (and I feel I do because this review is a bit 'rave' at the moment), the waiter had to be asked to top up empty breakfast items, but even this he did quickly and with a smile. Perhaps the only thing other slightly negative thing I would say is that the Jacuzzi is a little 'unbubbly', even after I found out how to turn the jets on, and maybe a bit steep at around 5euros for an hour. Otherwise though, I personally had a brilliant stay, and I would recommend grabbing a bottle of red, taking it to the glass platform balcony on the roof and enjoying the magnificent view of Wawel castle. The hotel was lovely, staff were friendly, although not overbearing. We really liked the location of the hotel, in the 'jewish quarter' of the city it was slightly out of the centre, however, had it's own less commercial/tourist atmosphere and we loved being close to so many bars and cafes around the Plac Nowy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very nice restaurant for dinner and the breakfasts were very good as well. A nice place to stay.

Compact but very comfortable hotel set in a small but busy square ideal for touriste to the jewish quarter with numerous good restaurants a few minutes away and easy access to tours and trams and buses. The Rubinstein staff were very friendl,spoke good English and very helpful with everything we asked for The room was comfortable a little dark but […] a superb bathroom made up for any small faults. Food excellent with an ample buffet breakfast mixing a variety of foods from different countries-pickles/ smoked salmon/ , cheses/cereals and lots of fresh fruit. Good value for money. Having visited Krakow the previous year we new the area we wanted to stay this time. Choosing the Rubinstein was easy because it 'ticked all our boxes'. It has been sympathetically restored and has lots of charm, from the exterior it looks like a doll's house. The bedroom was a generous size with plenty of storage, white cotton sheets on the bed and […] a fully stocked mini-bar. The bathroom had underfloor heating,housed fixed and hand held showers, the obligitary toiletries and hairdryer.The resaurant was light and airy and offered a vast array of breakfast treats ranging from sweet, savoury, hot or cold all accompanied by the friendly staff. The Rubinstein is in a calm peaceful location and in a great position for exploring and is in walking distance from all tourist attractions. Lisez la suite

Ett veldig bra hotell sentralt i Krakow. Frokostbuffe veldig bra. Reiser jeg tilbake blir det Hotel Rubinstein igjen.

Very nice hotel located in the Jewish Quarter of Krakow. Walking distance to Wawel and the Old Town. We stayed in a suite (got an upgrade) on the fifth floor with a beautiful view to Wawel. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast buffee with a nice variaty. Overall, we can definitely recommend it.

Mooi hotel in historisch gebouw op in Kazimierz op wandelafstand van de oude stad. Comfortabele kamers en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet

Vi var kjempefornøyd med selve hotellet, både m.h.t. standard, frokost og service. Det eneste som er å utsette på hotellet er meget stor trafikkstøy på ene siden av hotellet . Vårt rom vendte ut mot denne siden. Vi hadde valget mellom trafikkstøy eller varm og innestengt luft. Vi valgte det siste.Det ble varmt om natten. Rommet hadde imidlertid lydisolerte […] vinduer. Dette medførte minimale støyproblemer, men det ble varm og dårlig luft på rommet. Rommet hadde ikke luftanlegg /aircondition. Ellers et trivelig hotell med trivelig personale. Veldig koselig strøk utenfor hotellet på siden uten trafikkstøy med koselig uteservering og kjempebra restaurant rett over gaten. Totalt er vi godt fornøyd med oppholdet og vil gjerne bo der en gang til hvis vi får rom vendt mot den stille siden av hotellet. Lisez la suite

Vi var veldig fornøyd med valg av hotell på vår tur til Krakow. Hotell Rubinstein kan anbefales. Hyggelig betjening og nydelig mat. Frokosten var nydelig med alt en kunne ønske seg. Spiste også middag på hotellet og var veldig fornøyd. Hele hotellet er renovert på en imponerende måte. Nydelig bad med flotte steinarbeider. Fine rom med smakfulle detaljer […] og farver og god seng. Kan også anbefale frisøren rett vis avis hotellet. Kjempeservice og fline frisører og under halv pris av hva vi er vant til å betale. Et kjempeflott hotell i sentrum av Krakow med gangavstand til de fleste severdigheter og restauranter. Kjempegod frokost der de lager varmrettene spesielt for deg, slik at den alltid er nylaget. Et meget stort pluss også for kaffen, nykvernet og meget god. Liten men koselig bar med en svært oppegående bartender/barista.

Flott hotell i spennende strøk. Men vi fikk rom hvor lyspærene i 2 av 5 lamper var gått. Blir temmelig mørkt på rommet en november ettermiddag. Ba om nye, men det kunne de ikke skaffe. Ble ikke fylt på dopapir, regnet med de ikke kunne skaffe det heller. Fikk en ekkel følelse da vi skulle dra og den avtalte prisen på drosje plutselig økte. Men restauranten […] var glimrende, maten var helt topp. Gå her og spis, men bo på hotell med dopapir. Lisez la suite

Hotel Rubinstein a pie del centro, en un ambiente excepcional, con un hotel totalmente reformado, con increíbles vistas de Cracovia desde la azotea del hotel... Situado en pleno barrio judío, zona con más restaurantes, bares y ambiente de la ciudad... Muy recomendable, a 5 minutos del castillo y a 10 del stare miasto.

A very good hotel in general, definitely worth money. Still there is something that could be improved. The serving of breakfast was sometimes clumsy. The sortiment there could be also better and definitely the hotel should pay attention how the coffee is served in the breakfast. Hadde et fantastisk opphold på Hotel Rubinstein. Hotellbygningen var flott, med antikke detaljer. Rommet holdt høy standard, og hadde også fine interiørmessige detaljer. Badet var lite, men smakfullt. Frokosten hadde et godt utvalg av både kald- og varmretter. Jeg vil påstå at hotellet også ligger i en av Krakows beste gater, midt i hjertet av den gamle […] jødiske bydelen Kazimierz. Her er det et stort utvalg av restauranter og barer, men med et mye roligere tempo enn i sentrum/Stare Miesto. Et så bra hotell til denne prisen vil jeg anbefale alle. Lisez la suite

Dette var et flott hotell med spennende interiør. Vi fikk en litt dårlig start da de hadde masse å gjøre den dagen vi ankom. Rommet vi fikk tildelt var ikke klargjort når vi fikk det. Det var ikke ryddet eller vasket. Vi gikk derfor ut for å spise lunsj, og da vi kom tilbake var vi blitt oppgradert fra vanlig dobbeltrom til suite. Vi hadde et fantastisk […] opphold, god mat og hyggelig betjening. Frokosten var fortreffelig med en variert buffet, samt diverse varmretter man kunne bestille. ypperlig og koselig distrikt

Meget imponert over dette hotellet. Lite men med gode fasiliteter, badstue, boblebad. Ligger i traffikert område og har naturlig nok trafikkstøy ifm dette. Restauranten kan også anbefales, sammen med omliggende restauranter ved hotellet. Gjester får 10% avslag i hotellets restaurant. Frokosten ved hotellet utvilsomt den beste jeg har sett. Meget […] god og vennlig service. Hotellet skaffer transport og billetter til de utflukter som ønskes. Meget godt fornøyd med oppholdet her. Lisez la suite
