Nous avons passé 5 jours agréables dans cet hôtel, très bien situé par rapport aux sites touristiques et aux transports en commun; personnel agréable, francophone pour certains. Chambres bien équipées et bien insonorisées. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'a pas d'intérêt (triste et menu pauvre) mais le quartier regorge de pizzerias et autres trattorias

Les chambres ont été rénovées et sont confortables et propres. Le petit-déjeuner est correct, mais sans plus. La vue depuis la salle du petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel a l'accueil parle français.

Gare centrale de Rome arborant une impressionnante architecture moderne, Termini est le point d'entrée dans la ville à partir de l'aéroport de Fiumicino. Entre la gare et l'élégante Via Veneto, vous trouverez plusieurs sites d'intérêt. Le Palazzo Barberini est un superbe palais baroque, les Thermes de Dioclétien (Terme di Diocleziano) étaient jadis le plus grand complexe thermal de la ville et l'église Santa Maria della Concezione mérite une visite pour sa crypte des Capucins.

désolé, je ne partage pas l'avis de certains concernant le personnel : serviable et dévoué. Chambre un peu petite mais largement suffisante pour deux. La chambre n°4 ? A éviter, elle donne sur un mur !!! On nous a changé de chambre dès le lendemain, sans aucun problème. Côté situation, on se trouve un peu éloigné du centre historique (entre 20 et 30 […] mn de la Piazza Venezia). L'hotel est plutot bien place a cote de Termini et a proximite du metro A et B, donc access direct au Colisé ou au Vatican. L'hotel n'est pas de premiere jeunesse mais reste confortable. Les chambres ne sont pas tres grandes mais restent habitables. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas lors de notre passage car trop tot dans la saison. Close to termini in a decent area, this hotel is nicely located for a tourist stay in Rome. Other than the location, the hotel has nothing specific to recommend (as others have pointed out the 4-star rating should be read as a 3-star), however neither is it a bad hotel: - beds were not uncomfortable but neither were they great - bathroom (shower only) […] perfectly acceptable - breakfast edible but not great (200euro a night inc breakfast and they feel the need to charge 1euro extra for an espresso?) In general: a perfectly reasonable 3-star hotel, in a good location. For the price it cannot be recommended, but if you can find nothing else (like I could not) then you will at least get a night's sleep in a clean room and an edible breakfast. "Mixed Feelings..."
The the hotel was very pretty with pleasant staff and a great location but I have very mixed feelings about this place. The thermostat didn't work so the options were either constant heat, cold, or no air. So to balance the heat I had to keep the window cracked open which only made for waves of heat and cold and made sleeping difficult. Speaking of […] the large window, I was on the ground level so there was blind on the other side of the window that blocked nearly everything. Essentially it looked like a window but was essentially another wall. As I mentioned earlier the hotel is beautiful inside but my room was oddly arranged... there was a small desk nearly blocking the entry. To enter my room I had to carry my luggage over top of the desk as I squeezed by. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience but it wasn't great one either... as I said earlier very mixed feelings. "Near Train station, nice breakfast"
A good value for the money. Had to pay for Wifi and it only worked down in the lobby very well. The room was decorated in a Victorian way which was pretty, but I had a single room and it was cramped. There was only 1 electrical plug which was used for the TV, lamp, and then anything I needed to charge. The bathroom was tight, but pretty with marble […] walls and a rectangular shower which was easier than the traditional triangle ones, which are very hard to shower in they are sooooooo small. The walls were thin and I could hear the person snoring next door in the night. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was yummy. It only took me about 5 minutes to get to the train station, Metro, and buses. I booked a single room for 2 nights. This was my second stay in Rome for this vacation, and I have traveled to Rome on several occasions, so I get it--hotel rooms are small and efficient. This one...well it was the size of a walk in closet. One side of the room had a single bed smashed in between a desk at one end and the mini-bar/15"tv There is BBC […] news and CNN on the tv for English speakers who need a morning news fix. There was about 2 feet of floor space beside the bed and that was it! So yeah, a closet with en-suite bath! The bathroom was fine--marble with shower only, bidet and toilet, minimal soap and shampoo. The room was clean, the service from the front desk was friendly and attentive. Slow Internet only works in a lounge downstairs for a fee. "Great for a short city trip."
Staff spoke very good english. Room had everything you would want. Decor was dated but in good upkeep - standard for most hotels in Rome (you come to rome for rome, not a hotel!). Our shower was a bit loose and could easily be fixed so this was a bit careless but apart from that room was perfect. Overall the location was the the greatest asset of this hotel. The room was tiny, although it was cleaned on a daily basis. It had a snall tv with local channels and two English news channels, CNN and BBC. Best thing about the hotel is its location, close to the central railway station while still being in a decent neighborhood. Another big plus was how quiet it was with the windows closed. This is listed as a 4 star hotel...but is a really a stretch to call it a 3 star. That being said, It's clean, the breakfast is decent (yes even the instant coffee machine is not that bad), and if you're like me, you will book it for it's functionality...it's convenient to the Termini train station (about 3 blocks & you can roll your suitcases on the […] sidewalks - took us less than 10 minutes), it's in a relatively quiet neighborhood considering it's proximity to the Termini. We did get the "dreaded room" across from the check-in desk talked about in other posts, and yes you could hear voices, but it was not that bad...and during our stay, we were not disturbed during "sleeping hours" by front desk noises. So if you want a fancy hotel...forget it...but if you have specific needs, like being near the train station (we drove to Rome from Siena and dropped off a rental car at the train station, and a few days later caught the train to the airport...perfect for our needs), then this is your place. "Great location"
Nice little place close to Termini. Its 3 blocks from the via Marsala exit from Termini. Room was a bit small but I guess this is the norm for central Rome. Staff was friendly, we left our bags after check-out until 5 pm.. Breakfast is included in the room rate.
