"Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf London"

"Was expecting better from Radisson"
A good 5 minutes walk from the DLR, a bit hard to find at first when you step off Shadwell station. Then need to join underground. About 20-25 minutes to Central London. TV was abysmal. Flat screen yes but 'snowy' channels. Only BBC1 available, the rest was foreign channels or some UK ones but none of the Freeview digital. No robes in bathroom, water […] in shower takes ages to warm. Fiddly to put shower gel in bath as it bottle fixed to the wall but easy enough to put product in hand and then wash under the tap for the bath. Decor is fine, modern and contemporary. Complimentary tray fine too. Lisez la suite

Quality hotel in a prime location, helpful and attentive staff and nice restaurant. Worth the 4 star rating
"Davidson Providence Wharf - easy on the wallett"
We stayed here in April 2012. We were mostly out but can couch for the room service and breakfast as being excellent. Service was prompt and on time. Staff were courteous. We accidentally left some items in our safe when we checked out. the staff and the duty manager handled it professionally and efficiently. Everything as expected. I would go back […] and stay again. "Great for The O2"
We stayed at the Radisson New Providence Wharf as part of a visit to The O2 for a rock concert, with the location being superb. Travel from the hotel to the venue involves a five minute walk to East India DLR station, then changing at Canning Town for the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich. With frequent services the journey shouldn't take more than 20 […] minutes in total. The hotel itself is very modern and stylishly decorated throughout, although the "art" mounted on room walls may not be to everyone's taste. The bed was very comfortable, with adjustable room temperature ensuring a great night's sleep. The only let-down was calling room service after arriving back from the concert - it took several attempts to place our order successfully. This is only a minor gripe on an otherwise great stay. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to those visiting The O2. Lisez la suite
"Edwardian Radison New Providance Wharf"
Brilliant. Excellent customer service. Claudio looked after us very well on our arrival. Great comfortable rooms and an attractive price tag also. O2 arena was a short Journey away by car. Train station just across the roundabout. 5Stars from me overall.
"Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf London"
There's not much in the surrounding area, so eating out isn't that easy if you're on foot, but it's an easy cab ride to the O2. Room was nice but they put me in a rather smelly smoking room at first without asking. Easilly sorted, but not the sort of thing I needed as I was in a hurry.
"Radisson providence wharf canary wharf"
Close to canary wharf 10 minute walk, we spent one night whilst visiting the o2 arena easy walk to tube. Hotel staff helpful, clean modern hotel.
stunning location. great views. beautiful hotel and grounds.
"Radison Edwardian, New Providence Wharfe"
Comfortable rooms, expensive breakfast on week days. A bit of a walk to Canary Wharfe to catch the DLR or Jubilee Line. However, great views over the river to the O2 Arena. One word of warning, watch out for the glass top on the table lamp getting too hot and shattering....very scary.
"Excellent for the Olympics, otherwise far"
Takes two switches and 40 minutes on the tube from the city
A very nice hotel close to extensive Canary Wharf facilities and also convenient for the Olympic sites/Stratford Westfield complex. The deluxe room was very nice, just the Blackwall tunnel ventilation tower spoiled the otherwise nice view to the north and over the city. The SPA and gym were excellent. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment with 2 […] star orange juice and frequent delays in replenishing the hot and cold buffet. Lisez la suite
"Radisson - A must for 02 visitors"
The view of the 02 is amazing from the Radisson and the surrounding transport links are extremely convenient. The hotel was excellent value for money and the size and comfortability of the room was comparable with the Hilton which was a surprise as there was a significant price difference between the two. Staff were friendly and helpful and made the […] overall stay pleasant. Would recommend this hotel and if they offered me the same price I would definitely stay again. Lisez la suite
"Raddison Canary wharf"
Great hotel, lovely friendly staff. Food in very very good and exelent price. ONE annoying thing.... the radio alarm went off at 06.00am which is NOT what you want when you have NOT set the alarm but obviously the last guest did - could the cleaning staff check the alarms and switch them off for incoming guests. So cheesed off to be woken up after a […] great night out by an alarm we did not set ! Steam rooms good and hot - SAUNA COLD ????? Lisez la suite
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. There were only 2 tissues in the tissue box when we arrived but the housekeeper sent a new box as soon as I called.. I didn't realise that O2 was a taxi ride away, I was told the hotel overlooked the O2. The porter ordered a comfortable taxi for me. The breakfast was excellent, good choice and served hot. […] Not sure that I would stay at this venue for my next trip to the O2. Lisez la suite

"Girlfriends Birthday London Weekend"
Had a great stay at the Raddison Edwardian just where we wanted to be and the hotel sevice and standard blew my girlfriend away, breakfast was second to none, and canary wharf shopping malls have everything you need if you need to get out of central London and slow down just a bit. Michael
"Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf"
A beautiful hotel in a good area, just check the DLR for engineering works as it was closed all weekend when we stayed. It's not too far to walk to Canary Wharf to use the tube though. Staff were brilliant, very helpful. Room very comfortable and clean.
"Long weekend of culture"
Arrived early afternoon Reception very welcoming. Room large and very well appointed with excellent facilities. Staff courteous and helpful. Would have been even better if room had a view of the River!!! Easy walking distance to DLR and direct acces via DLR to central London in around 20 minutes. Hotel facilities first class - although shame no swimming […] Pool, restaurant excellent and breakfast is a must, superb range and choice to suit all. Lisez la suite
"worst service ever"
The indian guy and the counter was the worst person I ever met in a hotel and without the minimum clue of what customer service means.
I had a lovely stay it the radisson myself and a group of friends stayed for one night and we loved it there. The room was clean and quite spacious and the bathroom and shower was clean and a good size..overall the service was very pleasant and I would definately stay there again..also the view of the millenium dome and the thames is amazing espescially […] at night I highly recommend! "What ever you do...."
If the smiley receptionist hands you a key to your room and it happens to be room 211. Smile, hand the key back and say no thank you! There is a distinctly mouldly smell in that room, especially the bathroom.
"Very good standard Radisson"
Ideal for business stay mostly ...decor has a hint of office but somehow cosy and truly comfortable. Walk to the hotel is about 5-10mins but if you take the road which you think could be the way to the Hotel i.e near the dock/river side walk/way (and it is private and closed) one would have to make a detour and trace back the way from the station (15mins […] walk total)... as you would go out of the station East India, it would be helpful for a sign with arrow to the Hotel. The map seems to not indicate only one route is possible. NB noone was around to ask as it seemed deserted on a Saturday late morning. I do not appreciate the bar fridge...you move it (to read the wine mini bottle) you automatically pay!!! There was a warning sign (not so obvious at first) but who reads that before checking inside the fridge Lisez la suite

"Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf London"
Booked this hotel for a one night stay and have to say was delighted with the choice. Firstly the reception staff were lovely, very helpful and we were allowed to check in several hours early with no additional costs at all. Also given a choice of floor for our room. We opted for the top floor and were not disappointed. Lovely room, bathroom was fabulous, […] a full wet room style bathroom with a tub big enough to comfortably house two. Super comfy king sized bed was hard to leave in the morning! All in all, very happy and will return the next time we are in London if at all possible. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend time in the Canary Wharf area which has a lot to offer even if you are not going to the O2. Lisez la suite
"nice place"
This is a nice place to stay
Excellent overnight stay and very convenient for the Olympic site where we had tickets for the London Prepares event.
We found the beds v hard and uncomfortable. Also, the hotel was a good 20 minute drive in a taxi from the o2. We thought it was closer. It was just across the river, but unless you have a boat it's not 5 minutes away.
"Great docklands hotel"
Fine hotel but slightly difficult to reach. Althought there is a Light rail station nearby the walking route is bizarrely torturous. Good view from bar terrace of O2 arena (dome) on oposite bank, but few rooms have direct river views.
"Beautiful & quiet retreat"
If you're looking to not be in the midst of the hustle & bustle of London, but still be relatively close this is a nice choice. Very spacious rooms, and an exceptionally nice bathroom. It's about a 5min walk from the train and maybe 15 mins on the train to central London. It's pretty dead around this area at nights and wknds though, if that's something […] you're looking for. Fitness center is also decent. Lisez la suite

"Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf London"
Good business class hotel. The location (docklands) is rather far out from the typical tourist sites. Otherwise a good hotel.
"Close to the O2 and Canary Wharf"
This hotel is great if you want to stay in London, but away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. It has adequate tube networks and the hotel is situated a short walk from Blackwall tube station on the DLR line. THe hotel staff were very accomodating and friendly. The room was absolutely fantastic, which was great as I had booked the hotel for a […] birthday weekend away for my partner. The prices of drinks and food are reasonable, but we found the mini-bar to be cheaper than the actually bar downstairs, although the cocktails were amazing. It was also great to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out, so we didn't have to leave the City too early and could still enjoy some more sites. I would recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay close to Canary Wharf as it's a few stops along the DLR line or if you were heading to the O2, as this was across the river, directly opposite the hotel, so a stunning view. "Lovely Stay"
We stayed here after a night out and the hotel is lovely with quick room and customer service. Facilities are excellent and design is at a very high standard. It can be difficult to find using a sat nav but you get there in the end. I highly recommend this hotel, great if you're going out in the O2.

"Excellent Hotel and Restaurant/Bar"
The hotel is on the Thames in the financial district across the river from the O2 arena. The hotel, staff, and restaurant were fantastic. The tube line that is close to the hotel (5 min walk to station) was closed during my stay, so transit was a bit of an issue. The hotel is in a safe quiet area of London, but there is not much do close by, so transit […] is a necessity, Lisez la suite
