Il est clair que cet hôtel n'est pas le plus proche qui soit de Manhattan. Néanmoins il reste très intéressant d'un point de vue qualité-prix. Certes vous avez un bruit permanent à cause d'une ligne aérienne de métro, vous tombez aussi dans un quartier qui ne vous inspire pas confiance mais ne vous arrêtez pas à ça!! Pour le bruit il n'est pas si insoutenable […] qu'on peut le lire et je peux vous garantir qu'après une journée bien remplie sur Manhattan, votre sommeil en sera bien plus lourd!! Enfin, le quartier ne risque rien!! La bouche de métro est vraiment à proximité de l’hôtel et la nuit, cela reste tout de même bien éclairé!!! Par expérience, je suis rentré à toutes heures (18h, 20h, 01h...) je n'ai jamais eu aucun problème ni même eu un sentiment de peur!! L'hôtel touche plusieurs rames du métro aérien, donc très bruyant (roule 24/24), prévoir des boules Quies. Sinon très bon rapport qualité/ prix. L'hotel est situé sous le metro aérien quasiment ce qui rend l'endroit très bruyant. Il n'y a pas de restaurant à proximité sans prendre le metro. L'hotel propose un petit déjeuner : il n'y a que 2 tables très vite occupées ! Donc il vaut mieux ne pas trainer pour déjeuner. Sinon la chambre était propre et le personnel sympa.

Les - : Trop long de Manhattan (40 bonne min), - quartier pas sécurisant, beaucoup trop bruyant impossible […] de dormir sans boule-caisse et encore. il y a 3 lignes de métro aérien qui passent devant la fenêtre il n'y ni de double vitrage ni de volet pour atténuer le bruit, sans compter les sirène de police et les alarme de voiture qui sonne toute la nuit. Je recommande cet hotel à condition de passer au moins une semaine à New Yok. Il est en effet à une bonne demie heure de métro de Manhattan, ce dont il faut tenir compte pour les visites et le retour le soir. Il est aussi situé au bord d'une route, d'une station de train, les trains circulent aussi au dessus d'un pont qui enjambe l'hotel. Cela ne m'a […] pas particulièrement génée mais j'ai le sommeil assez lourd....Contrairement à ce qui était inscrit sur le contrat les petits dej sont inclus,( pour les routards un peu fauchés possibilité de faire des provisions de bouche pour le midi.) A noter aussi après avoir discuté au hazard d'une rencontre avec un jeune hébergé en auberge de jeunesse, que le séjour d'une semaine à New york lui a couté aussi cher que le notre (packing vol +hotel.) L'hotel est très propre, les chambres nettoyées tous les jours, serviettes de toilette changées, savon, shampoing réapprovisionnés quotidiennement. This place was okay for a short trip. I didn't think the price was fair for what we got. The blow dryer in the bathroom didn't work. The rooms were clean. The entrance smelled like sewer/urine.

The room was ok. clean and all. But they had construction, paint, smell on 4th floor.Surroundings... Police Station around the corner. There's a reason. Open XXX channel - not good if you're with family, or not into that stuff.

Really close by MTA and LIRR, I didn't like my room the first day because it was on the first floor and I have a very light sleep so with any sound from the outside I wake up, so I ask to the front desk to change it, and I get a new room and it was perfect for me,...even with the sound of the subway I got a good sleep :)

I stayed here with my bf for a simple weekend getaway. It was fairly decent.. We arrived in Manhattan and took the subway to the hotel, which was perfect for us because the hotel is literally right next to the subway. We stayed in a non-smoking room with one king bed, exactly as we requested. We checked in very late, which was fine. As we walked up […] to our room on the 2nd floor we noticed only our floor smelled like someone was smoking weed and it looked like they were in the process of re-painting a small section of the wall by the elevator, but as soon as we walked into our room we could no longer smell the weed. Our room was very clean and updated. The subway was outside our room and if we listened very closely we could here it, but that made the experience of being in nyc even more exciting.. none of the outside noises prevented us from getting good sleep since they had double windows to help sound proof. Some of our sheets were slightly teared in the corners.. but it was barely noticeable. The pillows under our pillow cases were very stained and yucky, but we tryed our best to ignore that. There was a coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and such, and a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, nice big flat screen HDTV w/ remote, desk and office chair, dresser, coat closet, lock safe, nice big full body mirror, towels wash cloths, floor mat, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, hand towels and more in the room. The size of the hotel is really small.I was shocked with how small it is. In addition to the hotel, the room was small. There was 3 of us that checked in. Loud, diry and rude just like Brooklyn. Room was small and uncomftable. Front desk was rude and unhelpful as if you are a burden. Better deals and people near by. Loud subways and street brawls all nite. Cleaning people were friendly but do not speak much english. This tiny little hotel was tucked discretely into a corner of a busy Brooklyn street. At first I didn't even think I had the right place. Once inside, the hotel was well-kept and the actual room was small but comfortable. This would have all been perfectly fine except that the hotel is adjacent to elevated subway tracks. The first time a train thundered […] by it drowned out the television and I swear the room shook a little. This went on every few minutes until I finally fell asleep. For the price you pay, this hotel is absolutely amazing. It's new and very clean. The hotel is two short blocks from Broadway Junction so you can reach many locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan without any transfers. The location looks pretty rough, but as we left the subway late every night to walk to the hotel we always saw at least three cop cars […] on watch, including one in the hotel parking lot. There were cigarette burns in the sheets, the hair dryer did not work, and the lamp between the beds did not work. The Lobby was not appealing at all, it pretty much set the tone for the room we rented and overpaid for.

Parking was a major challenge, only a few parking spaces on the property. Parking after hours is at your own risk. Breakfast area is too small and congested, only seats 5 persons comfortably. Guest service was reasonably well.

I would not recommend this place to any one. First of all, there are only 13 parking spots for the entire hotel... And we weren't lucky enough to score one. Parking in that area was dreadful. It was loud out. The train tracks are right outside the window. The breakfast was bad. The worst part of the experience was at 3am when a complete stranger opened […] our door to our room!! The night crew didn't know the room was already taken and gave someone else the key! Then they call our room to ask how we got there! It was terrible. Too close to the trains, the noise is very bad. Neighbourhood is not very safe, needed police escort from the subway to the hotel to feel safe. Hotel itself is OK, location is terrible.
