un veritable petit studio, avec une cuisine equipée, une supérette en face et un liquorstore à coté.

The room really feels like home, with a nice kitchen and everything you need for cooking in it. The bed was comfortable. The location is great too, only five minutes to Prudential Mall and about the same distance to Back Bay Metro station.

I highly recommand this hotel for people who are looking for a simple and clean hotel at a reasonable price. There is no service at the hotel during the stay. No reception, just a guy who can answer your questions on the phone. Room cleaning costs additional fee. But if you don't need all that, you get very good and clean rooms with a small kitchen […] and all the needed equipment, a large TV, hot water and a great launge on the roof. I stayed at the Christopher for a convention at the Hynes Center. It's a short three block walk through a nice neighborhood to the Prudential Center Mall and the Hynes. The room was clean and well maintained. My only complaint was the lack of A/C. Even in October the room was hot. The lack of security bars on the window with a fire escape just outside […] was a bit disconcerting. Some curtains over the peek though venetian blinds might have been nice. If you are looking for a value in Boston this isn't bad, and I'd probably stay there again given the exorbitant cost of hotel rooms in the area. I'd just avoid it during warm weather..... Stayed at the Cristopher on business. I would definitey return with the family on another trip. Small inconveniences were addressed by the friendly staff.

The room was VERY small, yet had a stove. Keep in mind that there was no exhaust fan for the stove, so cooking is really not an option. The room did not have AC, just a ceiling fan and it was really hot. Other than that, the room was clean, everything was in good working order, and the room was quiet at night.

Like having your own studio apartment right in the heart of the city with a nice roof-top deck. Nice large TV and fireplace. Walls are thin, there is no elevator, and the management is a block over in a diffeent building, but they are very helpful by phone and e-mail. An enjoyable stay overall.

Brilliant very clean and good access to all local amenities. Would recommend unreservedly.

The Christopher is a very nice and clean apartment in a lovely area in Boston. It is close to the subway and in walking distance to several historic sides. My son loved the big flatscreen TV. We would defenetly stay there again.

The room was cozy and well-appointed. It is very convenient for walking around central Boston, and is close to the Metro (Mass Ave Station). We will stay there again.

awesome if you like independence and want to feel like you're living in the city you visit - such a great neighborhood, close to all, and extras you don't expect like a roof-top deck, and all the comforts of home (except the bed, which was kind of hard). i'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable room, good facilities, washing machine was handy in the basement, very clean, great big telly, would definitely stay there again. Roof terrace was lovely to see and would be nice to use in the Summer. Staff were very helpful and efficient with a few small issues we had. Would recommend.

If you have traveled in Europe and are comfortable with that slightly more relaxed accommodation style, then this is the hotel for you. There is a kitchen so you can do your own cooking, and the spot is convenient to the Prudential stop on the subway line as well as to the Hynes Convention Center. My only complaints are that there could have been sugar […] in the breakfast basket for my coffee and that the rug in my room could have been better vacuumed when I arrived. I found the neighborhood friendly and safe, and the Shaws grocery store is close enough to lay in supplies for the stay. Please realize that there is no elevator, so be ready to carry up your own baggage. There is no staff on duty; you use a pass code to get into the building and then into your room--it all worked perfectly for me. You can store luggage at their sister property, The Inn at St Botolph, if you are leaving town later than check out time. I will happily stay at The Christopher again the next time I visit Boston. The Boston Christopher is nice if you want a non-hotel experience. We entered the building and the suite with emailed access codes; there was no check-in with staff and it was like having a small studio apartment in a residential neighborhood. Things to note: Don't expect breakfast; there are a few snacks, but they are not breakfast. Don't expect maid […] service. Expect to carry your luggage up stairs. Two things I would have liked to have a better experience: Stronger batteries in the cable remote and an apartment that didn't smell quite so lemony bleachy fresh. While it's nice to know they cleaned, it was fairly overpowering, even by our third day. We had to sleep with the window open on the first night because it was so strong. This room was in the basement of a walk-up in a questionable part of town, with no sign out front and a locked front door with no staff on-site. Access was via a key in a lockbox for which I was not provided a code, nor was I told in advance that I needed one. The room was accessed via a crawl space at the back of the "lobby" through which one could […] not walk when standing upright or with luggage. The building lobby smelled of septic and mold, there was no staff onsite, the room was filthy and in complete disrepair, the toilet seat was broken, there was no coffee maker or supplies, and no alarm clock. I did not touch or sit on anything if it was avoidable. The TV looked quite nice but I did not stay in the room long enough (nor would I) to use it. I checked out of the room as soon as I could make other arrangements. Lisez la suite

clean rooms, FREE wireless lan i-net but no porter. do not forget to get your entree-codes for the door (you won't find somebody to open the door). Minimal service over the phone does not always work (reason: foreign mobile?). However, very good for short stay.
