Hampton Inn Suites Staten Island - Staten Island

Hotel tres propre,tranquille,et bon prix pour 2 adultes et 3 enfants. Tres simple de visiter New-York,staten island ferry gratuit. Je recomande cet hotel.

I was attending a conference held at this hotel. I booked a regular room and 2 seconds after opening the door I smelled the stench of cigarette smoke. Not one to complain, I stayed in the room for 10 minutes to see if I could just deal with it. I couldnt. So we went down to the front desk to complain and we were upgraded to a suite! SWEET! The suite […] was big - had a living room area and a small kitchen area with a sink, fridge, and microwave. The bathroom was bigger also and had a jacuzzi in addition to a standup shower. (The regular room just has a standup shower). I don't know if I'd spend the extra money for a suite, but it sure was nice getting this upgrade for free. On the downside, there is nothing great to eat around the area. We drove about 5 - 10 miles for food and had to drive through some shady areas. The free breakfast was pretty awful. But hey it was free... Overall I'd stay here again if I really had to be in SI for the night. Lisez la suite

We were quite favorably impressed with the Hampton Inn. Decor was pleasant; room was clean. If I had one complaint it was that there was traffic noise. It did not present a problem though and the location was very convenient for our purposes. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations.

I will never stay at any other hotel when staying in the Staten Island area. Not only was the room, pool and breakfast great - I accidentally left behind my iPad on a chair in the common area and it was returned to me. It very easily could have "disappeared," but it didn't and for that I am beyond thankful!

Overall convenient location, plenty of parking in hotel property. Breakfast offerings we not very good; with stale begals and nothing too appealing.

If you have a car, this is the place to stay. Rooms can be a little bit on the noisy side with the proximity of the highway, but the rooms are great, staff is awesome and the morning breakfast is top notch. It takes about 15 minutes to drive and park at the Staten Island ferry terminal ($8 for the day until 11pm) with a free ferry every 30 minutes. […] This is the way to go to visit New York (great views of Ellis island/statue of Liberty and Manhattan on the way). The hotel was tastefully decorated. Very impressed with the free breakfast each morning. Great variety and was refilled constantly. The outside surroundings were serene and peaceful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Quality hotel and beautiful furnishings. I believe it is a little misleading to say that the location is "close" to all the must-see sights. It requires a 30 minute shuttle from the hotel to the Staten Island Ferry (which must be pre-scheduled) to get to the 30 minute ferry ride that departs every half hour. So, your talking a minimum of a 1 hour commute […] each way to get to Manhattan. Pool hours are very weird. Close at 5pm Sun and then closed all day on Tuesday & Wednesday. The hotel is a great choice that's affordable and close enough to Manhattan. The only thing to remember is you need to call to reserve the shuttle to the ferry and that the latest pick up is at 10pm. A taxi from the ferry to the hotel is about $22-25 w/o tip. It was a bit challenging driving to the location due to the toll booth, etc. but thankfully […] I had my GPS. The room was roomy and the bathroom was very nice. I loved having a shower rather than a tub. Overall a nice and comfy place to stay for a couple of nights. Lisez la suite

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. After spending much more for hotels in Manhattan on my last few trips to NY, and getting horrific rooms, this was AMAZING! Worth the hassle of taking the ferry, (free shuttle to ferry provided by hotel ) or taxi into NYC. Nice free breakfast, extremely clean, wonderful friendly staff...and great comfy bed!! […] no freezer in frig, and u can hear some of the highway traffic...but not anoying enough to make me stay away. This is now my fav hotel to stay in for my frequent trips to NYC. Plenty of good menus provided for really great local food too! i am a clean freak, and my biggest thrill was finding a perfectly modern and clean hotel! Sevice was great. Breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy choices. Location was good for getting to where we needed to go. We were there for our son's wedding and a visit to Manhatten.

The price of the hotel, free parking, and the $7.00 parking for the Ferry made this an inexpensive way to visit NYC. Would definiely do this again.

Very nice people, very nice rooms in a developing and clean environment - not for Manhattan party animals.

NYC was a last minute addition to our 7 day roadtrip around the East Coast. All the hotels we called that offered suites at a reasonable rate were completely booked for that weekend. We expanded our search to Staten Island due to it's proximity to the city. After calling the hotel directly looking for a room at the Hampton Inn, we were told they were […] completely sold out of suites for the night. As a final attempt I called Hotels.com hoping that their extensive network could find us a place to stay and they somehow had exactly what we were looking for at this hotel for a great rate! We ended up with a large room w/king bed pullout sofa, flat screen tv and lots of room for an Aerobed. The bathroom was quite spacious with granite countertop. And most importantly, it was very clean! We were very excited to have found this place last minute! The front desk person was extremely fast with check in and he also helped us find a perfect restaurant for dinner. The hotel itself is located in kind of a business park so it's very will lit and safe. The mall/shopping area was about 2 miles away with tons of shops and restaurants for you to choose from. The back of the hotel is against one of the parkway so you can hear the rumble of cars/trucks driving by. The noise wasn't too bad or maybe we were just too tired to care. They also offered a free breakfast with the room serving at least one hot item each day which was nice. So going from desperately seeking a room to stay for the night to a super comfy and safe location hotel with free parking was a huge relief. I know we saved hundreds of dollars just by staying here and it took us less then 20 minutes to drive into the city. Overall this was a great stay. Everyone from Hotels.com operator to the Hampton Inn staff made this process seamless and perfect. We well definitely return to this hotel again and also use Hotels.com when we travel next time. Beautifully done, and maintained. Beds and pillows were so comfortable and the bathroom was roomy and efficient. Nice desk and sitting area in the double queen we had. An added bonus was the breakfast buffet - sufficient choice and plentiful. Vending machines in a cove were also appreciated, as we arrived in late. Considering that there were 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children, we did have one of the suites. Plenty of room for all of us. The kids were most impressed with the free breakfasts. They offered us free shuttle service to the Ferry, and also picked us up after. Were very helpful with directions to any place we wanted to go. Everyone was very friendly and […] helpful. Would stay here again, should we decide to return to New York in the future, and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Loved all the horse statues and pictures throughout the place. Lisez la suite

very nice,clean hotel. staff very friendly. Non smoking. I stayed cross the road same owner hotel Hilton Garden Inn and even i stayed over there nonsmoking room,i was still smelling a bad smoke a night long. Hotel room is very comfortable and bed is nice too.

This is a beautiful hotel...one of the very best we have ever stayed in. We were so impressed especially since most in this area ...N.Y and N.J. ..are not that great unless they are super expensive. The next time we need to stay in this area we know exactly where to go. There is one small item that needs attention: the sliding shower doors were not […] working right..we managed but you might want to see about repairing them... we left really early and in a hurry the next day so we couldn't tell the desk...also the bathroom was kind of cold...maybe one of those overhead heating lamps might help...other that that...it was as I said...terrific. definately enjoyed stay at hampton inn...friendly and helpful staff and clean room ...only would want room service to make it a Aplus...would highly recommend if u need a hotel in staten island

Overall, we were pleased with accommodations, staff and free breakfast. The room was large, very clean, and had internet access. The breakfast varied a little each day and was more than adequate for anyone. We were not happy that the indoor pool was open only when a lifeguard was on duty. What that meant was that we were either limited to specific hours […] to swim in the afternoon, or that the pool was closed for the entire day. The staff suggested we go to the neighboring hotel, which they had an agreement with for their guests to use their pool. We also learned that we could not depend on securing special requests at the time of the reservation. We asked for adjoining rooms for us and my mother who needs assistance, and that was not granted. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und sah freundlich aus. Doch der Service war eher bescheiden. Sie schreiben bei der Beschreibung, dass ein Shuttle zum Flughafen zur Verfügung steht, jedoch nur zum Newark Flughafen und nicht zu den beiden anderen. Den Shuttle zur Fähre und die Taxis muss man selbst bestellen und auch das Morgenbuffet war okay, aber es könnte […] mehr sein. Die Fahrt nach Manhattan dauert wenn man mit dem Shuttle und der Fähre fährt ca. 45 min und dann weiter mit der Subway. Wenn man den Bus nimmt und dann mit der Fähre weiter fährt dauert es über eine Stunde und man muss dann noch weiter mit der Subway. Positiv fanden wir, dass die Angestellten meist freundlich waren und dass es einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle im Zimmer hatte, denn es hat nur ein Restaurant in der Nähe und dieses ist ziemlich teuer. Bra och bekvämt hotell med generöst tilltagna rum och tyst läge. En hyrbil är nödvändig då hotellet ligger ca 20 minuters bilväg från Staten Island Ferry till Manhattan. Mycket bra läge till NYC 'beaches' och shoppingen i New Jersey. Ett plus är en rejäl frukost som ingår. Super modernt gym och en härlig saltvatten pool. Värt mer än 2 stjärnor.
