Calme, bien situé, bon accueil que je recommanderais pour un bon rapport qualité/prix

Nous avons séjournés 5 nuits à l'hotel Plateau Royale (2 adultes et 1 bébé). Nous l'avions choisi pour sa proximité au parc et au quartier Mont Royal et ne regrettons pas ce choix. This hotel is clean and the room is big. The only problem is its situation, it is like 12 min walking from the metro station.

Trés satisfait de l'ensemble des prestations de l'hotel. Situé prés du parc possibilité de trouver des restaurants en marchant trés peu. Chambre en promo trés correcte moquette pas trés propre mais prendre chambre coté parking de l'hotel car au calme. Vivement conseillé.....

chambre un peu sombre mais spacieuse

la chambre avait une toute petite fenêtre donnant sur une cour,très peu lumineuse et même désolante,il manquait une ampoule dans la salle de bain.La salle du petit déjeuner n'est absolument pas conviviale mais l'hôtel est tranquille et bien situé.

Pour une nuit c'est très bien mais pour plusieurs nuits vous risquez de manquer de sommeil car l'hotel est très mal insonorisé. Les voisins de chambre ont discuté à partir de 5 heures du matin, la nuit vers minuit d 'autres clients se sont disputés.... Sinon l'accueil et le confort sont excellents le petit déjeuner est correct. Le prix correspond.

Compte tenu du niveau de prix, rien à redire; un personnel aimable et prêt à vous aider ou conseiller pour organiser votre journée, vos transports etc.. Si vous voulez des fruits ou des laitages au petit déjeuner, prévoyez de les acheter vous-même, car la prestation est "basique", pain beurre confiture céréales lait.

Bon rapport qualité prix, personnel accueillant, mais petit déjeuner vraiment insuffisant.

Les parties communes sont un peu tristes et anciennes mais les chambres sont très confortables. Le problème c'est qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. Il vaut mieux demander au moment de la réservation à quel étage on est. Le point faible c'est le petit déjeuner : un café "régulier" des gâteaux industriels, pas de fruits pas de jus de fruit, pas de salé. Accueil très chaleureux, chambre spacieuse, et calme. on a bien aimé. Seul note négative : pas de jus de fruits au petit déjeuner, ni de chocolat ou de lait chaud pour les enfants. Pour le reste, tout est ok

Hotel proche du Mont Royal sur une route principale menant vers le centre ville (pratique donc si vous etes en voiture). La chambre est grande et propre. Tres bon rapport qualite-prix

Service de base, abordable mais stationnement compliqué. Chambre sentait un peu la cigarette et était à côté d'un bar bruyant. Salle de bain et lit confortables.

hotel difficile a trouver si pas de plan de montreal tres bonne acceuil dommage que nous ayons sejourner lorsque la rue etait en traveaux donc assez bruyant le matin petit dejeuner offert mais tres tres leger donc ..... mais bon rapport qualité prix tres bien pour avoir fait beaucoup d'hotel sur montreal et quebec .

Hôtel situé dans une vieille bâtisse. Personnel accueillant. Les efforts pour redécorer et rajeunir sont visibles mais les murs et les tapis portent les marques du temps. Le stationnement gratuit est facile à trouver devant l'hôtel mais la voiture doit être déplacée le matin (parcomètres 3h/max). Les chambres sont quand même propres. Le déjeuner continental […] est minimal. Mon gros point négatif est le bruit. l'Hôtel (mal insonorisé dû à l'âge de la bâtisse) donne directement sur la rue. Si comme moi vous passez par Montréal et désirez une chambre pour une nuit et ne voulez pas payer trop cher, et que le décor vous importe peu je vous recommande cet hôtel. est simple, c,est discret et c'est tranquille. quoi de demander de plus pour une nuit?

Le ménage des chambres est a désiré, les traces des anciens locataires n'on pas été nettoyé. Exemple les mur étais sale, a croire de puis assez longtemps. La place pour la restauration avais des fils de poussière, un peu trop a mon goût.

Hotel globalement sérieux (séjour de 3 jours), le ménage était "globalement" bien fait (il ne faut pas chercher dans les coins par exemple. Grand lit double. Le petit déjeuner est à volonté mais relativement basique. La connexion wifi est aléatoire, il n'est clairement pas destiné à une utilisation sérieuse (téléphone par internet, conversations...). Hallways smell like smoke, massive road construction in front makes it almost impossible to even stop your car to get out, good luck with parking in that area unless you want to pay $20 to park in back (they're own parking!) and have to walk around the block to gain access back into the hotel. Never again.

Seems like a dump but very comfortable beds with impeccably clean sheets. You get what you pay for.

Good service, clean and quite comfortable. But you can here every single noise from the hole building in your room and wi-fi was terrible. Besides breakfast was very poor.

I was appalled when I saw dry blood stains on the bathroom door and walls.. I mean come on really? That's unsanitary and unhealthy. The continental breakfast was less than satisfactory... Toast, coffee only and a selection of two cereals..

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Cont breakfast was not good with no fruit at all. Room wasn't very clean-found someone else's socks under bed and garbage in the drawer. Good walking distance to some things. Nearest subway is about a ten min walk. NO PARKING

This small, reasonably priced hotel is ideally situated for visiting Mont Royale Park, Latin Quarter and East McGill. 5 Storey building has no elevators so if you are unable to climb stairs, specify a lower level room. Patking is typically scarce and especially now that Parc Ave. is undergoing major construction. Many smaller hotels & B&Bs have a parking […] issue in Montreal. The staff is very helpfull and will assist with parking tips ... We spent only $5 on metered street parking for a 2 night visit. My wife and I have stayed here twice in the past 7 months, both times in the larger double queen rooms. Bed mattress is excllent for my back and linnens & towels are impecably clean white with lots of hot water. The continental breakfast is decent with plenty to eat but no eggs or OJ. The person managing the front Desk was very helpful and went all out to cover up the inconveniences due to No Elevator, Poor Phone and wireless internet not functioning.

Friendly staff. Great value, without compromising comfort and cleanliness.

It's not easy to find parking places.

I stayed there for 3 nights. The place was especially roomy for the price. Our bed could have been a bit sturdier or replaced. The middle of it was kind of soft, and sunk in but not too bad (it was king size, just sleep on the harder edges. The breakfast was just toast and muffins with coffey or tea. This is one of the worst hotel I have stayed in. The breakfast room is like a rat hole (with four or five tables). The Continental breakfast consists of cereal and milk, bread and butter, coffee. The coffee was watery. I cut short my stay at this lousy hotel, and went to Hilton Bonaventura. The lobby of the hotel looked old and shabby, but we were given a warm welcome from the front desk staff person. Our room was clean and warm and large, with two queen-sized beds, but the furniture was old and shabby. The WiFi reception in the room was variable, and quit completely on our second-last day there, which happened to be the new year's day […] holiday, so no repairs could be done. But we were told that we could still get good WiFi reception in the lobby and downstairs in the breakfast room, which proved to be true. Front desk staff were always helpful whenever we needed anything (extra blanket, hairdryer). The Continental Breakfast was a bit skimpy, with cereal, muffins and bread, but they have a good toaster, butter and various jams. The hotel is convenient to downtown Montreal and to Parc Mont Royale. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel for a short-term stay, and it offers good value for a Montreal hotel. Lisez la suite

I visit montreal frequently for weekend trips because my boyfriend lives there so I've tried quite a few of these little hotels. I usually don't do reviews but this was one of the better hotels I have stayed at for theprice. It is close to all the shops and restos on st laurent and st denis, right by the mountain, and a short way to all the hot downtown […] locations. I'm very excited to stay here again the the summer so we can spend some time by mont royal, probably do a picnic. The room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, good for the value, the heat worked well in the room. I only had interaction with two staff members and bother were polite and very efficient. The breakfast when I went was just cereals and toast, but as it is so close to downtown there are tons of great breakfast spots nearby. Overall one of my best experiences for a weekend hotel. Also lots of streets nearby to find free parking on rather than paying sixty dollars in old montreal! A very good choice. Lisez la suite

The location of this hotel is perfect to whomever wants to see Montreal by foot, metro, bus. There is not enough street parking though, we had to feed the meter a couple of times. The price is good for its location, the amenities were OK not stellar but good enough. Room was clean, warm, could use some paint though. WiFi was free, but not that fast, […] it did the job for what we needed it for. Dont expect a 3 start continental breakfast; toast, milk, coffee, some muffins, and cheerios. I guess its what you pay for. Staff was friendly during the late shift, they speak a bazillion languages which is great. overall I give 3 stars but would have liked to pay $10 less per night for the service. Small room, noise from neigbors echo, not obviously dirty though also not obviously clean. No parking (all city metered). Bed was comfortable

This is a small European style hotel located in the Plateau and within easy walking distance to MontRoyal Park and the MontRoyal Metro station. And since we're on the topic of walking, be prepared to walk up to five flights of stairs to get to your room. It's basically a step up from a hostel. You get your own room with your own bathroom and there […] is maid service, but you will carry your own baggage and you will need your own alarm clock. There is no refrigerator. There is, however, free Wifi and local telephone calls are free. My room was clean and comfortable. The reception staff was friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast consists of cereal, croissants, and plain coffee and is served in the basement. I skipped in favor of one of the small cafes located on the Ave MontRoyal. The food was much better and it was nice to enjoy my coffee while watching the world pass by the window, I was also able to enjoy a picnic in Jean Mance Park with the food and wine purchased at a nearby supermarket. Both the supermarket and the park are on the Ave MontRoyal. If you prefer Old Montreal or the downtown area, this may not your best choice.The same is true if you like the amenities provided by the bigger chain hotels. The Plateau is my favorite area of Montreal and this why I would love to stay there again. If you need a place to rest up in between walking, checking out the funky shops, and general touristing, this is the place for you. The location is good. 15 minutes walk to the Metro, surrounded by shops. The parking is a pain. The hotel offers a parking spot at $20 a day, not cheap. The parking is at the back yard and only 6 spots. The road was on construction when I went there, which didn't help. The hotel's WIFI was a pain, so slow, at 56K, and always somehow not working. The […] room is small. I mean, narrow. The hotel uses the most space for the bed, but in front of the bed, barely a person can pass. There is no study desk in the room. It happened I needed a table to get some work done when I travelled, but I had no where to work at, so I had to go downstairs to work at their dinning room, where breakfast is offered in the morning. No elevator, so moving your big lauggage can be a pain, that you have to move them through the back yard stairs which is pretty narrow and steep. Good luck! Lisez la suite

Nice and clean hotel, close to the student area of the city, not so close to downtown if you walk. Some nice and classy bars/clubs are in walking distance though

We were very pleased with this hotel. The location is excellent,close to The Metro and buses.The room was clean and quiet and the staff was fabulous, very helpful,knowledgeable and friendly. I have recommended this hotel to others already.
