"Hotel Azure à New York"
Les chambres sont petites mais l'hôtel est confortablle, sympathique, propre et bien situé, à Chinatown.
"Not quiet, hotel clean but sheets not clean"
In english and/ET en francais. The sheets on the beds have not been changed in 9 days so it is not good. Noisy and the hotel has no rooms on the course so hard to sleep without ball plugs. 4 th and 5 th floor imperative if not impossible to sleep. Well located. Systematically put towels on the toilet bowl which is dirty.
"Centrally located"
Pro: The hotel was clean and the location is good (right next to a metro station), the staff was always willing to help and friendly. Con: The rooms are very small, the noise from the subway is very disturbing if you're a light sleeper, no laundry room / service.
"One of the best deals in NYC!!!"
I decided to attend a conference in Manhattan but also decided to try to stay within a budget and not stay at the conference hotel. I shopped on Hotels.com for a few days before deciding on Hotel Azure. Here's why: 1. Closer to Greenwich Village, SoHo, Lower Manhattan, and the areas I like to eat shop and bar-hop. 2. This hotel is around the corner, […] literally 30 steps from the transit subway and access to anywhere in NYC.. 3. The hotel is fairly new, very clean, and is a small European- style hotel. 4. Borders Chinatown and Little Italy. 5. Free Wi-Fi and other amenities. 6. The shower is awesome! Here's why I would return to this hotel: 1. The 6 above reasons I selected it. 2. Friendly, courteous, attentive staff...beautiful too. 3. I paid $7.25 to get from JFK to my hotel via AirTrain and one subway train with no transfers...saving almost 40 dollars if taking a taxi. 4. Post office is maybe 4 blocks on Canal. 5. Restaurants, and bargain shopping everywhere! Wine shops, specialty tea stores, and a liquor store are within two blocks. 6. Although small, the room was not much smaller than a friend's room who stayed at the Times Square Sheraton and she was paying almost 300 per night! The only negative (for most, but not for me): 1. There is no closet or dresser so you have to live out of your suitcase which is probably safer anyway in this day and age of germs and bugs. Lisez la suite
"Rough but Clean"
The title says is all. This place is in rough shape but it is clean. Location is great, right in the heart of Chinatown. Subway station right on corner. Taxis are abundant, though if you walk a few blocks in the direction you want to go before hailing one you will save a few $'s. The traffic right around the hotel is heavy all day. Tons of great chinatown […] shops surround this place and little italy is just a few blocks away. Lisez la suite
"small, basic, but clean and convenient"
If you are just looking for a place to sleep in Manhattan, you can't beat Hotel Azure. Just a few steps away from the 6, N, R subway lines, you can easily travel anywhere in the city. It's located in the heart of Chinatown, and just a block away from Little Italy.
"azure hotel"
well the hotel is in a great location on the corner of lafayette and canal ,however the rooms are way to small ..it would be nice to be able to put the suitcase somewhere other then on the floor ,, and the carpet in the room is dirty i guess its because of the fact thats its only 5 ft by 6ft so theres not much room for faulter .it was a tight fit for […] the wife and I Lisez la suite
"Great Hotel Great Location"
The price was excellent and our stay was very pleasant. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. Location was perfect. Would stay again
I really like the new feel of the place and location was great. Ran across Brooklyn bridge and financial district in the morning then off to broadway at night
"Hotel Azure - NYC"
I was really happy with Hotel Azure. The staff were friendly and really helpful with local restaurant tips and things to do that tourists wouldn't know about (the local secrets). Our room was very small but perfectly arranged, and we had completely expected space to be a premium in New York City. The Hotel is at the corner of Little Italy, Soho and […] ChinaTown, and there is a great buzz around the area, with local delights in close proximity. We were in walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge and the Financial District, and a subway station right next to the Hotel, which definitely helps. The hotel looked after our bags, even once we had checked out for the rest of the day. Free local calls from the hotel. Basically I would sum Hotel Azure up as: Small but perfectly formed. I would happily stay there again. :) Lisez la suite

"Hotel Azure in Soho/New York"
The hotel was conveniently located, and the room was comfortable, though small. The carpet was dirty, however. The bathroom was compact, and would have been fine, except that there was no hot water in the shower. My conclusion: there are many better hotel options in New York.
"Good BASIC home base - no frills"
Room is typical NYC tiny - no closet or dresser. You'll be living out of your suitcase (OK, 3 hangers on the wall). Had to track down an iron day 1, which took a while. Otherwise, staff was very cordial (some more than others), but overall great. Location to subways is GREAT - 4/5/6 right outside the door, other major lines a couple blocks either direction. […] You're right in the middle of "Rolex-Rolex-Rolex" Chinatown (welcome to Canal St), so it's not the most charming neighborhood. However, Little Italy, Soho/Noho, et al is a short walk. If you're looking for comfort, you might want to keep looking. The online rate was good at the time, so that plus location was a major factor for me. I'd recommend with the previous qualifiers. While I might consider staying here again (in a pinch), I may look a bit harder next time. Lisez la suite
Very small rooms.
Booked a king room, which by European standards was a perfectly adequate size. The hotel has a modern fitout, though carpet in the room could do with a clean. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Bed comfortable, washroom very modern & compact, good shower. Hotel is in a very busy location, per other reviewers, and we were on 2nd floor right on Canal […] street. There is double-glazing but traffic noise is audible. However, with earplugs, we were not bothered by the noise at all and we are both light sleepers. Location is great, right beside subway station and 5 mins from A, C & E subways. Would stay again. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Azure NYC"
Really tiny room with no closet however very clean, comfy bed and a handy coffee maker in the room. But above all a great location in China town, near Soho, Nolita etc and right by metro station. A perfect budget hotel so that you can spend your money on doing fun things in NYC.
"hotel azure ,cleanliness of hotel"
Hotel azure is a so -so hotel though it is not very clean and well maintened. the rooms are rather small . The water is not hot enough in the bathroom .Over all I was not satisfied with my stay
"Clean hotel in Chinatown"
This hotel was very clean for being in such a dirty neighborhood. The room was on the small side, but I didn't need much room - just a place to sleep. Overall, not a bad deal for the price and location.
I left my Ipad in the room and the cleaning staff didn't turn it in. There was old food left in the refrigerator. Will NEVER stay here again.
"Azure HOtel"
Gents, this Hotel is being SOLD as it si locatedin SOHO.....BIg ERROR. Its CHinatown. Nothing against CHicnatown if I decide to be IN CHinatown For this location is expensive, VERY ILL CLEANED, and even if the host or hostess are friendly , does not suffice when surpised upon arrival. ADL
"Hotel Azure - Really?"
The only reason I stayed at this hotel was because my daughter lived a block away. The hotel room was the size of a closet. You could barely turn around in the bathroom. The air conditioning was poor. The carpet was filthy. The neighborhood was subway convenient - but that is all.
"Hotel Azure- center of China Town"
The hotel was overall a great price for what it offered. It is right by the subway and in walking distance of shopping areas. China town is right outside the front door. The room was small, but that is probably common for nyc. The staff was helpful. It is loud outside often so as long as you can sleep through it then this is a good pick. I noticed the […] lobby/elevator had a bad odor when I arrived. It could use some air freshner. I would probably stay here again. Lisez la suite

"fairly clean, great location"
located just off canal st in soho, close to subway, fun interesting neighborhood. Room was rediculously small but acceptable for one person. Price was reasonable for good area of NY
"Hotel Azure - remarkable value in handy location"
I was amazed to experience such a classy and comfortable hotel for such a low price. The decor is elegant and subtle, with beautiful glass mosaic tile in the bathroom, super comfy bed with duvet, desk and excellent reading light throughout. The rooms are small - like being on a ship, but have everything you need. This hotel is right off Canal Street […] with access to several subway lines. Beautiful black-and-white photography in the room. This is a sophisticated urban hotel and a budget chain price. Lisez la suite
"Loud"
Very loud due to proximity to subway stop and street (only have five stories); Carpet was dirty, room was tiny. Location was great.
It is nice and comfortable room. A little expensive !
"Hotel Azure"
This hotel is perfect for short business trips or vacations when you plan to spend most of your time out doing things. The rooms are small, as you would expect from the location, but they are very clean and include everything you need. If you're looking for a hotel that you will want to lounge around in and take advantage of various amenities, this […] isn't the place for you. If you need a clean bed in a safe location while you visit NYC; this is perfect! Lisez la suite

"Hotel Experience"
Very convenient Location 2 minutes away from little Italy & China Town. U can pick up the subway from around the corner. They allowed us to check in early 1pm. The room was decent, my only problem was the restroom it was very very very cold. No heat what so ever in the rest room. Overall i give it 7/10.
The hotel is nice and clean. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms are small, but hey it's New York. I was just in the room to sleep and take a shower! It's close to a lot of attractions and has a very convenient metro stop. Will definitely stay again!
"Hotel Azure - NYC"
If you book this hotel because you think it might provide a good business travel place to stay that is reasonably priced and close to transportation - think again. Good choice if you are a traveller and looking for something just above a hostel grade accommodation. It is that.
"Not good at all..."
We booked this hotel as a last minute as its located near our offices, upon arrival our client was not happy with the cleanliness of the hotel. Which resulted in cutting his 3 day stay to just one night.

"Hotel Azure-Close to Chinatown and Little Italy"
If these are the places you want to see, then this is where you should stay. There's a subway tunnel right at the corner too. The room that I had was super small, but i guess if you r in new york, you're not staying in your room much anyway. It was clean and comfortable, street noise was at a minimum. I had little time to book a room in that general […] area, so if I were to go back, i might look around a little better. One of the staff was pretty nice, the other two that I meant were fairly demeaning to me. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Azure - Not quite on par"
Azure is a near miss. The location is great if you want Chinatown or Little Italy, but it does mean you're surrounded by junk stalls full of sunglasses and knock-off purses. The hotel is basically clean and relatively freshly appointed, but there are issues that, for me at least, made the place less than it should have been. The elevator, for instance, […] stank in some sort of weird chemical way that made every entrance and exit unpleasant. The room was small even by Manhattan standards. It was clean and had a nicely appointed bathroom, but the carpet was worn and stained, giving the whole place an unclean feel. The price was on the lower end of midlevel hotels, the feel of the place was a notch below what was fair for the price. If anyone in management is listening -- these are things that would be relatively easy to fix and then the place would really shine as a midlevel boutique. Lisez la suite
"Pleasant Stay Minus the Noise"
This hotel was great and decently priced. I stayed on the 2nd floor and it was a bit noisy due to the underground train. If I was to go back, I'd definitely request to stay on the top floor of the hotel.
"The Azure Hotel in New York"
The hotel was very "bare bones" as far as the lobby, elevator & hallways. No decor, just very flourescent & industrial (not in a modern fashionable way either). But it appeared clean. The room was not as clean as I had expected. The wood cabinets & nightstand were filthy. Painted black & miscellaneous debris splatters very apparent. There was an ironing […] board in the tiny cabinet, but no iron, Instead, there was a used plastic cup in the cabinet. The floor seemed in need of a vacuum. The walls & the curtains were the worst, as far as cleanliness. The bed & bedding were great. Comfortable & clean. The bathroom had been immaculately redone & was clean. All new tile, toilet, pedestal sink, rain showerhead. For the recycling signage about towel reuse, they printed the info on a piece of paper, which was cut & taped inside an average cd holder (jewel case). And, that was glued to the wall. Very tacky. The hotel was above the subway, so it rocked & rumbled. I actually got used to that; It was just the initial experience. I was traveling on business and internet access is of the utmost importance. Wifi was not available at all. They did provide a dsl cord, which was short & required me to attempt to set up in the corner of the desk next to the window ac unit. The first cord didn't work. When communicating to the front desk agent over the phone that the internet access they provided was not working. She simply replied, "No one else is complaining." I said that that still doesn't provide me a solution. She repeated herself & that was it. The next day I requested a new cord, which was longer, but still no access. After further investigation, the outlet was not set up properly, basically a dead hole posing as an opportunity for a dsl connection. So, the remainder of my evenings were spent at a coffeeshop in the east village where wifi is free & they are open late. I will say the bed, the bathroom & the fact that your hotel key was required in a slot in the wall for power to wor Lisez la suite
"The Hotel Azure, Chinatown, NYC"
VERY small but clean rooms in a safe and quiet NYC neighborhood. Dunkin' Donuts conveniently across the street. Broadway and shopping just one block away!
"Pretty decent for the price"
Average hotel, certainly acceptable for the price. Small and cozy would be an understatement, but everything was very modern and updated. Only real compliant is they make you use a room key to power the room and if you leave your key in there so your air can run while you are away they take it. Pretty crappy if you ask me. Front desk people were helpful […] with subway tips and recommendations. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Azure - small, but clean and friendly"
The hotel rooms are small: fine if you are travelling alone, but luggage & belongings for 2 people would be a squash. Location is v convenient, next to Canal St which has links to several subway lines. Clean hotel, pleasant staff, value for money.

"Fantastic if you're not surprised"
The first thing you need to know going in is that the rooms are small, even by NYC standards. If you're not from NYC or not used to staying there, you'd call them tiny. The fire exit map on the door did show that some of the rooms were a little larger than ours, but all are small. If you're using your room as a place to sleep and rest between meals […] or sightseeing, it's perfect. With that out of the way, the hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly - even giving us quick subway directions when we were in a rush. The room was immaculate. Even with such a tight space, everything was there - super comfortable queen-size bed, wall-mounted flat-screen, desk, closet with iron and desktop ironing board. Did you have to shimmy beside the bed to get to the pocket door into the bathroom? Yes, but it was modern and very clean with all glass tile, a rain shower-head and glass shower doors to give the feeling of more space. As for location, it couldn't be more convenient. The Canal Street stop is right there on the corner. You can feel the subway slightly when it runs under the hotel, but it doesn't rattle anything and didn't wake me (a very light sleeper) up. It's a quick comfortable walk to Soho, Little Italy or Chinatown, and is convenient to City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge. My fiance and I got a great deal, had a fantastic stay, and would definitely stay there again. Lisez la suite
"Didn't have the room I booked"
Booked a room with a queen bed. When I arrived at 10PM they said they had queen beds, and that the only room they had available was with two twin beds. At that point I had to take it, but was extremely uncomfortable.
