Columbus Hotel - Cracovie

Excellent rapport qualité / prix pour cet hôtel bien situé. Le personnel est toujours accueillant et très serviable. Si vous désirez dormir au calme, demandez une chambre côté court (nous l'avons fait), car il y a le tram qui passe devant l'hôtel, ulica Starowislna. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Pas trés loin du centre historique , proche de restaurants de qualité, l'hotel offre les meilleures prestations de séjour. Hotel is in an OK location about a 10 minute walk to the Market Square, staff were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was fantastic! Two complaints - our room was a the front of the hotel which is on a busy road so it was very noisy and the quilt on the bed barely fitted on the bed it was so tiny - we did ask and receive another blanket but […] wh such a small quilt???? I recently spent a week at the Columbus Hotel in Krakow, and I was delighted w/everything about it. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Rynek Główny, which is the main market square and the center of most of the sights in the city. Thanks to other good reviews, we chose to stay here on our short trip to Krakow. Nice comfortable room, good breakfast, and just a short walk from all the main attractions, or use the tram stop just outside for longer trips. This may well be a 3 star hotel, but the Staff are 5 star- very helpful and polite.

I have stayed in many 5* hotels all over the world who have not been as good as this hotel. The only thing I could complain about is the noise from the street if you stay in a room on the front of the hotel. This is more than off set by the rest of the positves

We loved the location! It is in an older area but this was what we liked - it gave it class. It sort of felt like you were "back in time". Everything was convenient - an ATM was directly across the street, stores, bakeries,an ice cream stand that always had a line, the river were nearby. Many unique restaurants (such as U Doroty, Polakowski and Hotel […] Ester) were within walking distance of the hotel. We could easily walk to Kazimierz and Old Town or take the tram. The front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful with giving directions, suggestions and arranging for tours. The breakfast and the breakfast room were consistently good. The rooms were plenty big and very clean. There was a computer for guest use just of the reception area. If there would be one thing that I would suggest, it would be to have luggage racks in the room. We tend to "live out of our suitcases " when traveling. I don't think that I have said anything new that the past reviewers have noted but we were extremely pleased with our stay. We would definitely stay here again if in Krakow! Lisez la suite

While this hotel is outside of the centre of Krakow, close to the the Kazimierz district, the old part of Krakow is small enough to get about by foot. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are very helpful.

Modern small hotel, good helpful staff who all spoke English. Breakfast very good. Bathroom with shower only but very clean. On main road so a bit noisy when trams started but we had a room at the back so not too bad. 10 minute walk to castle and 15 minute walk to main square but at night went to restaurants and pubs close by in the Kazimiierz district […] which were good (Sasiedzi on Miodowa was excellent and not expensive). The hotel was well worth the tarrif, The rooms were of a good standard, clean with very good and contemporary bathroom. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast had a good choice and standard. For the price it was a steal, but a little walk from the main centre of town.

Although this hotel is situated some distance from the main square in Krakow it is just round the corner from the very interesting Jewish Quarter with its great atmosphere and good restaurants. Best to request a room away from the street if possible but overall a great hotel...a pleasant surprise.

Cool hotel with everything you need for a good break away. Quiet, comfortable rooms, warm, clean & tidy, cleaned everyday & mini bar restocked on time! Great selection of breakfast items, very friendly staff with great local knowledge & always helpful with a smile. Situated approx 5 - 10 mins walk from market square so a little quieter location close […] to historic attractions. Would def recommend & stay there again. It's very easy to walk to most places in Krakow on foot from here. Only one VERY small negative (and it really is as we were hardly at the hotel) - it would have been nice to watch something other than BBC News / CNN while we were getting ready to go out. Nice boutique hotel in great location near Jewish Quarter. A bit on the loud side -fronts a major street.

Other reviews had taked about the helpfulness of the staff at this hotel. We would echo this - they were great. Also, our flight was changed meaning we had to leave before breakfast was served. The hotel prepared a great packed breakfast for us that was waiting for us when we cheked out at 06.45.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Although the location is a bit farther from the center the public trams are so easy to take and are located outside their front door. All of the staff were very helpful & accommodated our every request. The breakfast was great and everyone was very friendly. This hotel gets 5 stars in my opinion.

This hotel is highly recommended - the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful, the rooms, restaurant and lounge were excellent and its location was extremely good for seeing the sights of Krakow.

What an excellent hotel spotlessly clean, staff extremly helpful nothing was too much trouble. The location was ideal away from the main square but near to the Jewish quarter ideal for restaurants and bars. One of the best hotels I have stayed excellent no complaints whatsoever.

A very clean and comfortable hotel in a good position for sightseeing with excellent staff, food and service. Sadly, our room, at the front of the hotel, was let down by the noise of passing traffic. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel but urge you to request a room at the back.

The hotel is located in Kazimiers, which is a 15-minute walk from the Old town. On the positive side, the Old Synagogue, which is located in a street full of good bars and restaurants, is located 2 blocks away. There is a tram stop right in front of the hotel, from where you can go to the train station or the old town. The tram ride costs a little more […] than one dollar. We picked this hotel after reading reviews on this and other sites and were not disappointed. The staff really are incredibly friendly and helpful with one even rushing out in the rain to buy tram tickets for us. My daughter, partner an myself stayed at the Columbus between the 9th and 14th of June for an extended city break. This is a well presented hotel with modern features through out and an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff team. The bedrooms are very comfotable and have a free safe, TV and a mini bar (pay) The Columbus is situated in the Jewish […] Quarter of Krakow with very easy access to nearby restaurants and around a 12 to 15 minute walk to the old market square. The hotel staff will even physically show you the way to assist you with directions. The buffet breakfast was a mix of continental and a small selection of hot foods and very well presented, lots of percolated coffee!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone but especially those who did not wish to be in the hustle and bustle of the centre and we would certainly return to the Columbus. Lisez la suite

Have just stayed at Columbus Hotel for 3 nights early June and I have to say this hotel was superb from the staff ,cleanliness & great buffet breakfast Location of this hotel is great just around the corner from some great bars in jewish quarter

Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening! Kort avstand til gode restauranter i Jødekvartalet - bl.a. Szara og Starka. 15 min. gåtur til Gamlebyen.

Kjempefint hotell som ligger sentralt i Krakow. Veldig rent og pent.stille og rolig. God frokost og minibar. Kan anbefales på det varmeste.

Vi var på besøk i Krakow og var veldig fornøyde med valg av hotell. Rommene var romslige, sengene gode og beliggenheten super ifht sentrum. Det beste var allikevel personalet, som var behjelpelige med det meste og svært blide og hyggelige. Da vi ikkle rakk frokost siste dagen, sendte de uoppfordret med oss lunchbager med mat, juice, vann og frukt..Aldri […] opplevd det tidligere! 2011年7月末に2泊しました。 とにかくスタッフが親切で、どんなお願いにもにこやかかつ迅速に対応してくれます。また宿泊したツインルームは決して広いとは言えませんが、非常に清潔でした。朝食はビュッフェ形式で、通常の食事のほかポーランド風のサラダ等があり、十分な内容です。旧市街からは徒歩10分程で、事前に地図で見ていた以上に近い印象を受けました。 私個人としては、次回があるとすればまた宿泊したいホテルの一つです。

During whole our visit the staff was very friendly. The hotel is a little bit far away from the main square but Jewish Quarter is near. The trams are quite noise if your room is street side.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, aufmerksames HotelmitarbeiterInnen, schönes Zimmer, passables Frühstück, gute Lage zum Viertel Kazimierzs; einziger Wermutstropfen: unser Zimmer zur Straße war sehr laut, da mehrere Straßenbahnlinien anliegen.

L'albergo si trova ai margini del vecchio quartiere ebraico di Cracovia e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla piazza del mercato. La colazione è abbondante e sia dolce che salata. Le camere sono grandi e pulite. Noi avevamo una camera sulla strada, un po' rumoroso di notte, ma niente di insopportabile. Il personale è gentilissimo e prodigo di consigli.

Ligger ved inngangen til det jødiske området. Sentralt. Lett å finne frem til de sentrale steder i byen som gamle byen, jødiske kvarter (Kazimierz), Wavel området etc. Hyggelig betjening, rent, god frokost. Rommene var litt små, savnet en vannkoker og en ekstra stol. Da ville alt vært helt perfekt.

Betjeningen var gode i engelsk, og var mer enn villig til å hjelpe til med de spørsmålene en hadde. Hotellet ligger 10min gange fra "Main Market" og har et trikkestopp rett utenfor. Selv med vindu ut mot trikkelinja hørte man ikke trikken. Det er også en kolonialbutikk rett utenfor på andre siden av gata. Dessverre så er det kun to engelsktalende kanaler […] på TVen: BBC World News og CNN. Rommet ble rengjort hver dag. Skulle vi ha reist tilbake til Krakow, så ville vi ha valgt det samme hotellet. Koselig, lite hotell. Veldig bra standard på rommene, god frokost og hyggelig, serviceinnstilt personal. Til og med egen portier som åpnet døra for oss når vi kom og gikk. Litt langt å gå til markedsplassen (den som må regnes som senter av byen), men nær mange gode restauranter i den jødiske delen.
