TRES bon hotel idéal pour une famille de 4. L 'accueil est excellent, les chambres TRES confortables , le petit déjeuner TRES copieux. Un super souvenir .

We were in this hotel with our two children and were very happy with our choice. The room was spotless, very large, with 2 TV sets and a large bathroom. The breakfast, although not lavish, was of a very good quality and we felt that the overall performance of this hotel was an excellent value for money.

Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and we were able to get street parking nearby. Tram into town was a little inconvenient, but not bad. Overall, very nice stay.

very calm, cosy and nice. very helpful and friendly staff.

Loved the spacious room we got and regretted that we only got to stay for 1 night. Breakfast was ok and free. parking and wi-fi were also free. Heidelberg is a great city to visit - we'll be back.

Excellent hotel, quite place, we've stayed at the room for 4, very large and comfort room, the service is very good, warm welcome, feel like home.

This is not a hotel, but more like a motel / hostel. There is no aircon. the curtain is too transparent that people can see through the room. there is no privacy. and, with the thin curtain, it is hard to sleep well. A vey nice hotel, located only a short tram ride from Heidelberg's tourist sights. Easy to find, and free parking is available if you arrive early enough. Excellent breakfast. English speaking staff.

We stayed in an atelier room, number 5..it was perfect after a flight to Frankfurt. The staff was great, gave us our key early, made a cappuccino and warm milk for our 6 year old and nap we had. Located a short tram ride to Aldtstdt, we didn't need to find parking. If you've been to Heidelberg, you understand thT this is a good thing. The tram offers […] a 24hr family pass for only 9.30€ (up to 5 members). Again staff told us about that. Hotel neighbourhood is very safe and there are restaurants/bakeries close by should you wish to eat locally. The ad on hotels.com lead me to believe this is right in the heart of Heidelberg, but it is not. And that is the only complaint I have. We had a car, so it was not a problem for us, but for someone who expects to be right in the center, might be disappointed. An excellent welcome by the owner and the rooms are spotless. The location is quite good if you don't mind not being right in the centre. The only drawback is that the family room (we were 4) is under the roof. In July, it gets extremely hot. The owner provides an electrical fan but it is noisy. Still, I would return there. We have traveled across the world and I found this hotel to be one of the best. The staff were exceptional in every way. Whatever we needed, use of internet to book flights, organising taxi for airport, sending email with directions were all free. Breakfast was plentiful, as much meat, cheese, eggs, fruit and lovely soft rolls as we could eat. The rooms […] were so cosy, clean with fresh towels each day, bottled water and sweets in the room. Good clean room. Toilet was clean, but get toiletries. Breakfast is decent but not great. About 1km away from train station. Got a ticket (maybe weekend deal) for 5 people for 9 Euro valid for 24 hours which can be used on the train and bus. We stayed in a family room, it was very big and clean. Nice breakfast in the morning . Not close enough to walk to the centre of Heidelberg bur close to the tram stop so this was not a problem I would recommend it.

We stayed in one of the Atelier Rooms. It was extremely spacious but in the roof of the hotel, so a bit hot on arrival. It was three flights of stairs up with no lift, so keep that it in mind. No shower only a bath with hand shower. Also, no restaurant for evening meal (except sandwiches) so we were forced to eat out. The room had hotplate and sink, […] but no cooking utensils etc. Despite all of this a nice location a little bit away from the centre of Heidelburg, but close enough by tram or car and a number of eateries within walking distance. Very nice hotel,pretty and clean with great breakfast and near tram stop to Heidelberg. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Parking is an issue and sometimes one must find parking on the street. It's in a pretty area and since we like to walk, we did so to the old city in Heidelberg. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself was clean and nice. The breakfast was adequate but nothing fancy. However, there were two problems. One was the noise level. Since it was hot outside, we had to leave the windows open. It was hard to sleep because of the continuous banging of doors, throwing away of glass bottles, traffic, early morning garbage trucks, etc. which turned […] out to be frustrating when we were trying to sleep. The other problem was the woman on duty in the morning. She was very grouchy and didn't seem to care when we told her the hotel was quite noisy. She could have at least showed some concern. Also, she was somewhat annoyed that we asked to leave our car parked in the courtyard until early afternoon. We were gone well before other guests were to check in, and there was only one other car there when we left. Friendliness and professionalism can go a long way with regards to hotel satisfaction. It was great arriving and finding there was ample parking in the courtyard. Room was a reasonable size and clean. Good breakfast in the morning. To get to the city was only a short walk to the tram stop. It was a nice ride into the city which looked as if it had good shopping, resturants etc. A really lovely city.

Our room was on the third floor with no elevator. The stairs were winding and steeper than American stairs so I would not recommend it for elderly persons. The staff was helpful and pleasant although most had limited English speaking ability. The room was very spacious with the equivalent of 3 twin beds but sparsely furnished with hard chairs and a […] very small table. There was a 2 burner stove,under-counter frig and sink in the room but no utensils at all. Rooms were made up each day very well but the floor (wood) was never swept in the six days we were there. Breakfast was abundant with cold cuts, bread, cereals, yogurt, cheeses and coffee, tea and delicious juices. Location was quite far away from tourist areas but an uphill walk from the streetcar. The private bathroom was spacious with a typical European shower/tub combo but bring your own soap and shampoo. I was very satistied with this hotel. My intend was to stay in a small quite hotel, not a chain. The room was very clean and spacious. I was in one of the atelier rooms. Breakfast was typical, but quite good. Even though I arrived at 8:30 am, they were accomodate and quickly prepared my room while I ate breakfast. This hotel is situated on some very narrow streets typical of much of the country. It is very well kept, and had a clean and well aired out smell when we got to our rooms. We arrived early, about 11 am, and had to wait several minutes for the desk clerk to arrive. Check in was very speedy. Parking is available in a small courtyard. The breakfast was […] well presented, with the typical meats, cheeses, bread, etc. The tram stop is within a short walk, past a small old castle. Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit nettem Service und guter Anbindung zur Innenstadt. Der einzige Minuspunkt waren die weichen Betten - das ist aber vielleicht Geschmacksache. Parken war übrigens kein Problem.

Het Hotel Der Deutscher Kaiser is een degelijk hotel een kwartier buiten het centrum van Heidelberg. Het hotel heeft een eigen parkeerplaatsje waar geldt dat wie het eerst komt, zijn auto kwijt kan en anders wordt het aardig moeilijk om de auto kwijt te geraken in de buurt. Verder is het een prima hotel met ruime kamers maar niet meer dan dat.

Var där på affärsresa tre nätter. Hotellets personal helt fantastiska med hög servicegrad. Rummet jag hade bokat var som ett hav stort, allt var till belåtenhet. Nu var jag där i februari så det ganska bra att få även parkering direkt ute på gatan faktiskt. Trevligt kvarter och nära till pendeltåg som snabbt tog en in till stadskärnan om man ville. Großes Appartment mit 2 Zimmern -55 qm - ideal für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern ( 14+16) Nah an der Innenstadt - 4 Stationen mit der S-Bahn ca. 500-700 m bis zur S-Bahn Haltestelle sehr ruhig gelegen einige schöne Restaurants in der Umgebung hat alles gepasst Heidelberg ist eine sehr schöne offene Stadt

Hotel muito limpo, quarto bastante confortável, ainda que um pouco pequeno e região silenciosa. Não tem elevador. Café da manhã farto e saboroso. Internet gratuita no lobby. Pequeno estacionamento que atende aos hóspedes que chegarem primeiro. Fine rom med balkong, rent og pent og god tysk frokost. Minuset var at hotellet lå vesentlig lengre unna Altstadt enn det vi hadde regnet med. Koselige restauranter i nærområdet med sikkert bedre mat og lavere priser enn turistfellen Altstadt. Alt ialt et fint stopover hotell.

Das Hotel liegt im ruhigen Heidelberger Stadtteil Handschuhsheim, der für sich allein schon eine Sehenswürdigkeit darstellt. Der dörfliche Charakter mitsamt der entsprechenden Läden und Gasthäuser ist voll erhalten und obschon das Hotel mit der Strassenbahn kaum 5 Minuten vom Heidelberger Bismarckplatz entfernt ist, taucht man in eine total andere Atmosphäre […] ein. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr komfortabel, nachts extrem ruhig, die Belegschaft wie fast überall im Süden Deutschlands äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück reichlich und die Preise moderat. Wer abends gerne gut isst, findet in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft des Hotels gleich zwei Gasthäuser, die verschiedenste Geschmäcker zu befriedigen vermögen. Störend für uns Radler, die im Gepäck keine internetfähigen Geräte mitführten, war lediglich das Fehlen einer Internetstation für Gäste. W-lan ist zwar auch im Zimmerbereich vorhanden, aber eben nur mit eigenem Rechner. Lisez la suite

waren angenehm überrascht. nettes personal, für den späteren check-in wurde sich mehrmals entschuldigt, parkplatz im hof konnten wir sofort in anspruch nehmen. super frühstücks-buffett, das keinen wunsch offen ließ. zimmer war sehr sauber und ansprechend, schönes großes bad. s-bahn-haltestelle leicht zu fuß zu erreichen. alles in allem: absolut emp […] fehlenswert. El hotel fue maravilloso. Nos costo un poco llegar a la direccion que indicaba,lo cual recomiendo ser más explicito en eso, pero ese fue el unico inconveniente que tuvimos. El dormitorio se dividia en dos la principal y el resto era una sala con dos camas extras para cuatro personas muy espacioso ,remodelado y cómodo. Nos sentimos en un apartamento, […] por lo espacioso.Salimos sorprendidos ya que por fuera no dice nada y interiormente es espectacular.El señor que nos atendio fue muy amable y te sientes muy bien atendido. Die Zimmer, bzw. die Ateilier sind sehr grosszügig gestaltet und waren ideal für uns als Familie mi t2 kleinen Kindern.

Handschuheim is a an attractive neighbourhood only 10 minutes away from the centre of Heidelberg by tram. It has its own identity as a quiet and beautiful residential area with charming houses and many quirky architectural details. There are a both several bakeries, a few reasonable restaurents and a supermarket very close to the hotel. The little castle […] of Tiefburg and a park with playground are also only a few minutes away. The hotel is comfortable with good beds, spacious rooms and an ample breakfast buffet. To us (2 adults + 2 children 6 and 9) it was the perfect base for a week in Heidelberg and we certainly recommend it. Lisez la suite

We were a bit dissapointed because we thought we´d booked a hotel in the city centre. May be our own fault. Anyhow, the service, the room and breakfast was good. And the neighbourhood was really nice. We found great, cheap and not very touristic restaurants close to the hotel. Hotellet er ikke så stort, men har alligevel den komfort som man har brug for. Hotellet er ideelt som overnatningshotel på rejsen gennem Tyskland. yderst venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Mulighed for parkering på egen parkeringsplads, er en fordel, da det kan være svært at finde parkeringsplads i nærheden. Selvom det er et lille hotel, er der adgang […] til trådløst internet. Vi var bare en natt på hotellet, men hadde det kjempefint. Lå i rom helt på toppen med takvinduer og utsikt over takene i byen. Stille og rolig strøk som passet godt for bilturister.
