A recommander.
Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

"Cool Fun @ The Perry Souh Beach"
I booked an ocean view king suite for a romantic getaway and it was great. The room was a little sparten in its decor, but the extra space felt very luxurious. The lobby, rooftop pool and the STK & Louis' all had a great cool vibe and full of attractive tredny people. The hotel has a nice beach and is an easy walk to Lincoln Rd for lunch or dinner. […] There is a drug store & a liquor store conveintly located for any last minute purchase. The valet staff & front desk personell were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite

it's an expensive dump
"overrated"
the room was clean the only problem is that everything in the room is broken; knobs falling off, holes in walls... don't book this hotel
"A good value"
Overall we had a good experience at The Perry and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good value in South Beach. The reason for the average rating is because while this hotel is a nice value it lacks the extra touches that a 4 or 5 star hotel like the Lowes has.
Bed is not as comfy, Parking fee is high and the hotel is very noisy at night due to the night club.

"Hotel Perry in Miami Beach"
My wife and I stayed at this property during Easter week this year. Nice older hotel. The rooms were good and spacious, however the bed and furniture were extremely uncomfortable. Great balcony! We spent many mornings and evenings sipping our coffee of wine overlooking the ocean. Food pricing is ridiculous and not that good. Many local places north […] or south to get a good meal at a decent price. If you are going to stay there is a liquor store right next to the hotel. DO NOT BUY THE HOTEL LIQUOR IN YOUR ROOM!! Over $10 for an airline sized bottle!!! YIKES!!!! Lisez la suite

"excellent"
Staff was 'above average' friendly. They were their from the moment we stepped out of the taxi until the moment we left. Room was clean and had a safe for valuables. Beach was very close, with food and drink vendors. Nice area and felt very comfortable walking around. Would go back there in a blink..
"Perry South Beach - Not worth it"
The hotel is nice. Rooms are clean. Very close to the beach. Had a nice pool. However, service was not worth the price. I arrived at 12pm and they would not give me a room until official check in time at 4pm. I see many people arrive later than I did, but they got their rooms straight away. If you don't look like the type of family that will spend […] a lot in the hotel, they are not likely to spontaneously serve you. While checking in, bell boys help the couple in front of us and the family behind us to take the luggage. BUT NOT OURS. We had the same amount of luggage as the family behind us did. So i dont see why they did not help us besides they pick on people to serve. Lastly, housekeeping department are unorganized. They storm into our room and made a big noise at 9am while I was still sleeping in bed. That woke us up so we went down to the pool earlier than planned. The room was tidy up when we got back from the pool, so that's nice. However, while we're getting ready to go out for dinner, they knock the door and asked to come in to refresh the mini bar. So we told them our mini bar doesn't need to be refresh at that point. After that we went out to dinner and then came back realized housekeeping must have came in again, because some items in the bathroom got moved around. I almost felt like they are checking on us to see when we're actually in the room. That was not nice. Overall, from my experience of staying in various hotel that are in this price range. I know the experience at Perry was not worth the price. Lisez la suite
"A lot of hotel for the money"
This is the perfect vacation spot. Everything you need is within a few blocks of the hotel. Great spot for a family vacation or a weekend with the boys/girls.
"The Perry at South Beach is Fantastic!"
Our group was large and we rented 4 rooms to accommodate our family vacation. The Perry was the perfect hotel in a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and made all of us feel extremely welcome.
"Service sub-par"
There was a large cigarette burn in my blanket I requested a deluxe ocean view room for my 25th. My view was more of the roof of the service area. I tried to speak with the manager on three separate occasions and three days later and back at home and the manager is yet to return my call.
"Great Experience!!!"
stayed here recently for my bachelorette party weekend and the hotel and staff was wonderful. The rooftop pool is a must. Its a great view and the pool is heated. The only annoying thing was the card to our room didn't always work. Sometimes we had to do it 3X to get the door to open, a little annoying especially at 4am. We also had a little kitchenette […] in our room. Small fridge and microwave so we were able to heat up our food and leftovers. We also got wine and water across the street at the Walgreens. Our room had a wine corker and wine glasses-VERY CONVENIENT! I would stay here again even though it was a little further from the action and nightlife of Ocean Drive and Lincoln road-which isnt a bad thing. Lisez la suite
"Good location, service needs work"
The hotel itself was nice. Beautiful pools and beach amenities. Great spa...be sure to get a pedicure...so reasonably priced and one of the best I've ever had. Anytime we called the front desk the phone would ring and ring and ring. Waited a long long time for service at the pool restaurant, even though they weren't that busy. Service at the GORGEOUS […] rooftop pool was sketchy at best. Felt like we had to accost someone to get service. Methinks they need more waitstaff and front desk staff. Lisez la suite
"Perry S. Beach - Comfortable Distance from Chaos"
The Perry (formerly Goorsevant) at 24th and Collins is a short drive by car, bus or taxi to all the hot spots in South Beach. Then come home to rest up away from the crowds. Valet, Bell and Front Desk are awesome! The hotel is going thru a change in ownership and you can get shuffled around a bit on the phone. Watch out for a hold on your debit card […] for incidentals - up to $300 per room. Bring a credit card for that. Also, no coffee makers in the room and cafe is outside and down the sidewalk. But you can order pizza takeout from anywhere and pick it up at front desk (room service adds $5 delivery and 18% tip on top of high prices) They advertise the rooftop pool view. We brought teens who wanted pictures and weren't allowed to walk out on the roof because it's a bar/lounge. Bathroom in King/Partial Oceanview Balcony room is oversize with plenty of counterspace. Room is spacious too. Partial ocean view was great from certain angles. I asked several times for adjoining rooms, but when we checked in they were actually across the hall from each other. We had major partiers next door that kept us up the first night - management handled it great and we got some rest the second night. Overall it was a good stay, we had a good deal on Hotels.com and will definitely use that service again. Lisez la suite

I thought the high room rates were not justified. The hotel felt old and not too appealing. Also $38 for valet parking was rather high. I would not go back.

"Great Hotel on South Beach/ Miami Beach border"
The hotel is at the most northern part of South Beach, so there are other hotels that are more convenient. Still, the rooftop pool is very chic and the third floor mezzanine pool is superb. If you are looking for nice pools, go to the Perry. We booked late and had a "city view" room, which in most South Beach hotels is claustraphobic. Our room at the […] Perry, however, was enourmous, with long windows to provide ample natural light. The bathroom was large as well and the shower speed was adjustable to allow for a massage like pounding or light spray (for the sunburnt guests). The only thing to complain about is the prices of the food and drinks at the hotel. It is too expensive to eat/party there for more than a few days. However, there were decent options available for room service snacks/small meals that were reasonbly priced (sort of). Lisez la suite
"Perry Hotel -Perfect Couple's Getaway"
While the Hotel is not exactly "Family" oriented, it is the perfect spot for young couples who want accessibility to the amazing nightlife and hubbub of the art deco district , but also want a quieter, more elegant place to stay. The rooms are quirky, cool, modern, sleek, sizable, and even the city views are incredible. Both the rooftop pool and the […] 3rd floor infinity pool were wonderful, the staff was top notch, and our bartender Jeremy made the best fresh margaritas. I would absolutely stay again. "The Perry South Beach - Great Hotel but old"
This was a great hotel to stay at. The rooftop pool was amazing and the employees at the hotel are very friendly. The hotel was older but rennovated. The thing i didnt like is that Valet Parking is pricey and you wait for a while to get your car. Overall great hotel and I would stay there again.
"Be ready to wait"
Freshly remodeled with paint still on the edge of the carpet. Not sure who would do such a terrible job with trim work? Very contemporary and clean. Don't think u can chech in early. We got there around 10am after getting off the cruise ship and no rooms were available till 3:30. This was difficult with 3 young children. The door men were super helpful […] and sweet. I felt completely under dressed. Make sure you r wearing you Brands. Wish they had a coffee maker in the room and not an expresso machine that they charge per cup. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Perry South Beach"
Great find! Hotel exceeded expectations from the stunning lobby, ease of check in...to the beauty & ambiance of the rooftop pool...the view was spectacular, the decking material was top of the line, the bar was fantastic. Cannot wait to return to this location. oops - forgot to mention the beautifully appointed room - great view, high quality linens […] & the shower was one of the best ever. Lisez la suite
"outside noise LOUD, service: do it urself!!!"
too loud, nice, classy people staying at hotel, but overall service poor, waiters were overwhelmed and could not accomodate, i went up several times to fetch my own drinks, food, etc....$20 each to rent chair on beach and we were not there more than 2hrs; the attendent told us after he setup chairs...food was good, but remember i had to get up and order […] myself and then i was still charge service charge of 20% on chicken salad that cost $20....i won't be back!!! "pleasantly surprised!"
my wife and i stayed at this hotel for two nights with our kids (5 and 2 year old). i have to admit, we had read some horrible reviews of the perry and booked the hotel purely because it was cheaper than all the rest on south beach. from start to finish we had absolutely no complaints. the staff was courteous, room was HUGE (with a kitchenette), infinity […] pool was fabulous. it is an older hotel, but certainly not run down as the reviews would suggest. we would definitely stay here again both with and without the kids. "THE EX- GANSEVOORT!!"
Couldn't beleive it!! Had reservations at the Gansevoot, pulled up and NO Gansevoot!! What a surprise. The Perry was fine. It jsut would have been nice to know it changed names!!
"great place"
This hotel has excelent service and amenities of which i used all. My bill reflected these charges also to the tune of 5 times my room rate. Great expensive two days. Worth every penny!
"sunset over miami"
Changed from the Gansevoort to the Perry AFTER I made my reservation. Biggest complints were 1. Drink and food prices at both pools were NUTS... better to buy alcohol, food, cooler at Walgreens on the corner and keep it in the room. 2. We stayed in a "street front" room... don't do that. Traffic is like NYC and view sucks. Room and bathroom was a nice […] size with a nice sized balcony. Had to request maid service 3 days in a row. Rooftop pool is AMAZING... best view in town... sunset from there is priceless... although you have to go to the bathroom area to see it. Cabanas were renting for 3X the room rate!!!!... they were all empty...daaaaaaa!!!! 3rd floor pool is very nice as well. Gym is large and very well equipped... but most of it is like working out in a dark, loud nightclub. I'll most likely try something else next time. Lisez la suite
"Huge rooms in great location"
Positives: Roof top bar and pool, STK restaurant, relatively central location on South Beach, Walgreens across hte road to top up on snacks Negatives: Our room was a bit run down and needed some things fixed. Also it was facing the road so got quite noisy at times.
"first impressions"
They say you can tell a lot about something based off first impressions .... what a nice place. Satisfied my every need from entertainment to appetite!
"Very friendly and accomodating"
The staff was always friendly and welcoming, smiling and saying good morning to us. Atmosphere was great, roof top bar was cool, breakfast by the pool bar was delicious- we will definitely be back! Taxi ride was short to SoBe and cheap, also they were readily available....over all great experience!
"Could do better"
Well ...the room was not ready when we arrived at the hotel at 4 p.m in the afternoon. We were given 2 vouchers for cocktails but would have preferred a warm welcome and a room that was available. When we were shown to our room we liked the size of it but it had a view of some rather old and ugly air-conditioning pipes. We had to go on the balcony […] and look left for the promised sea view. With such a large room I cannot understand why better soundproofing could not have been installed. There was intermittent noise at all hours-mostly late hours-from the other guests. The lounger on the balcony was ancient . The common pool area was undistinguished with no screening and again seemed tired. All in all the hotel had the feeling of a tropical resort in the last days before regime change. As it was changing from the Gansevort to the Perry chain perhaps there is some truth in this. Having said all of that the staff were uniformly pleasant. The concierge , a lady originally from the U.K. , was exceedingly helpful . The new owners will have to do a lot to refurbish the complex if it is to compete with other hotels on the " strip." Despite the great staff I would not return. There are many hotels which , at the price we paid , would be superior contendors for our custom. I know because we looked. Lisez la suite
"The Perry Hotel- stellar property not service"
Although I enjoyed my visit, I wouldn't say the service lived up to expectations. Specifically the food & beverage pool staff. We always had to seek them out. The hotel was not busy during my stay & still the 'greet' time & 'check backs' were slow. With all of the other 4-5 star options I would definitely try another hotel on Ocean drive on my next […] visit. Lisez la suite
"The Perry South Beach"
The rooms look nothing like the ones posted on the website, but the amenities more than make up for it. Wonderful pools and restaurant (STK and poolside) and an excellent staff. The salon needs an upgrade, but the massage may have been the best I've ever had. The upcoming renovation is needed but overall it was a very positive stay.
very quiet, really good
