"excellent staff and service"
our stay at spring hill in albany was excellent. the staff was very polite and were very helpful. my wife twisted her ankel at a local theatre and everyone was kind and helpful with our needs. the only real complaint would be that the toilet and the shower were in different rooms in our king suite. not much of a complaint, just seemed a little odd and […] somewhat inconvienent. but that would not deter us from staying there again. thanks so much! "Extreme noise made it hard to get any sleep"
We heard a lot of stomping or banging around above our room. Went to the front desk to let them know. The person at the desk said she would send someone up to see what was going on there. The noise continued throughout the night. We got about 2 hours of sleep. When checking out I mentioned it to the front desk again. She took down my email address and […] said someone would contact me. That was 4 days ago and I've heard nothing from them. Would not recommend this place. For the price, it wasn't worth it. "What you expect is what you get"
You get a great greating at check in, chupa chups lollipops at the front desk and a easy lay out of the room. This is the type of hotel that makes traveling NOT a hastle. The Spring Suite Hotel in Albany was very conveniently located off the Thruway. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was professional and courteous. The breakfast was very nice and the food was plentiful and displayed well.

The hotel staff were excellent and the hotel was in a ok location. Not much in Albany so it was convenient for the purpose of our visit.

We stayed over only one night and found the room to be very comfortable and larger than normal. The bed was great and all the staff we came in contact with were courteous and willing to help. The breakfast was good as far as hotel fare is.

"Fun and contemporary"
This hotel was very nice. We stayed here after a 11 hour driving day with our two toddlers. The room was a suite and had a sofa bed the kids slept on. The king bed in the main room was nice. I think the mattress was a foam one...which was comfy. The toilet and shower were wisely in separate rooms. Those had sliding glass panel doors. we stayed here over the thanksgiving holiday.our room was super clean and comfortable. our grand daughter enjoyed the indoor pool, and the staff was friendly and helpful.glad we found a great place to stay when visiting our daughter and grand daughter!

Everything was fine. Saturday breakfast was a bit overrun by youth travel teams, but other than that it was a clean, comfortable stay.

We just returned from our weekend in Albany and were pleasantly surprised at our choice of hotel we chose. We have been coming here for years and decided to book at the Springhill Suites by Marriot and loved it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We loved the fact they had a separate toilet area and separate shower ( both with their own sinks). […] Location is great and all rooms were furnished very modern and new. The reception desk was very helpful and friendly. The room and hotel overall were in excellent condition and very comfortable. The free Wi-Fi was an excellent perk; however, it was a little slow in my room on the second floor. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We were so pleased with our stay at the SpringHill Suites Colonie, from start to finish. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and our room was comfortable and brand new. My second visit and I will come again and again. clean nice rooms, TV with good reception, plenty of channels to choose from. love the spacious shower separated from the toilet. This was a decent hotel, though it is not close to downtown Albany. More on the outskirts. One mile from a FABULOUS restaurant, Delmonico's, which we highly recommend. The room was nice overall. It was spacious and contemporary in design. However, it's not for families with small children, as there is only a shower (My husband and I liked the split […] bath with two sinks though). The bedding was slightly dated; it was worn and tattered along some seams. Other than that, it was a great stay. The breakfast was great as was the 24 hour coffee. The Spring Hill Suites by Marriott surprised us when we checked in as it was much better than we thought it would be. The room was great with a seating area and a tv that could swing to the bed or the seating area. I went with two friends for a sports competition. We were very happy with our room - a queen suite. It was clean and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend for a business or vacation stay.

The room was quiet and comfortable however we were surprised to find a half-finished Coke bottle in the fridge and also that the toilet had not been flushed when we arrived. Also the light above the bed was out. But other than that it met our requirements.
