A recommander.

Very nice hotel in a very central location. Very friendly staff. We can only recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we were to go back to Venice.
"Noisy"
Good hotel, clean spacious rooms but extremely noisy, our room was next to the employees bathroom and reception so we cousin hear the toilet flush until late at night. Also the noise from the streets kept us up. Internet was 8 euros for 3 hours! Other than that it was ok.
"Ca'Bragadin Carraba- a quiet oasis in busy Venice."
Very nice hotel- dark and quiet at night, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, excellent service from front desk. Not on a canal- some rooms do have a view of a nice piazza. We did not opt for the breakfast but picked up pastries at a bakery instead. Be sure to watch the u tube video or you may never find it. Great neighborhood bar right around the corner […] with wonderful food (cichetti sp) and good prices. A few blocks off the regular touristy path. Stay in Venice proper- it's magical at night. "February 2012"
This small hotel is as difficult to find as other reviewers have noted. We made the mistake of walking from the bus station. A 20 minute walk that took 35 mins because we made a few mistakes - evenwith our sat nav. Take a water bus to Rialto Bridge from the airport or from the bus station and save yourself a load of hassle. Hotel is about 5 mins walk […] from the bridge bus stop but assume as much as 15 mins the first time you try to find it! When you finally arrive at the address there is no indication that a hotel is there until you notice a tiny brass plaque on the wall next to a uninspiring tatty locked wooden door. I suppose local regulations prevent the owners putting up a sign, but something more would really help. We had to ask at one of the larger hotels before we found it. Ring the bell and after a while it is opened remotely. Up a flight of stairs to the reception. The staff are all very friendly and our room was large and well appointed, although the proximity of other buildings made it dark - almost dingy - even during the sunniest part or the day. So our lasting memory is of a neat and tidy hotel which is more of a boarding house - no public spaces, no bar etc., but right in the middle of Venice and close to all main sites. Balancing the hotel, it's facilities and it's position I think we may well book there again. Lisez la suite
"From Australia"
Hotel was very good but if this is your fist time in Venice you needed good directions to find this hotel. It took us 1/12 hours to find. But worth it in the end.
"Great Place!"
Wonderful place to stay. Little hard to find - Watch the youtube video..
"Americans in Venice"
We got lucky finding the place, but after we did, we found it comfortable, the staff accomodating and the location very near to key areas in Venice. Of course, its easy to walk everywhere you want to go in Venice. The internet is not free and not cheap, more than double what we have paid in the past and difficult to connect. Otherwise, we definitely […] enjoyed our stay once we found it. Lisez la suite
"Tucked-away gem near Rialto"
A pleasant little hotel not too far away from the Rialto Bridge. I stayed during New Year's 2012 and, although the rates were quite high during that time, I was quite satisfied. This was much more "American" of a room feel compared to other places I stayed in Europe that trip. I believe I booked the lowest size of room, but it was spacious and very […] well maintained. The 24 hour staff were all very polite as well. Finding the hotel, like most things in Venice, takes some getting used to. Search youtube for walk-through from the Rialto vaporetto stop. I watched that a few times, took copious notes, and had no problems finding the hotel. One note -- the graffitied wall on the next-to-last turn in the video is actually a pet supply store during working hours, so don't let that throw you. Lisez la suite
"Ca`Bragadin Carabba, Venice, Italy."
Great location. Everything in walking distance! Good room. Value for money! A hotel name sign outside would help to find the hotel on first arrival.
"Good Spot"
A nice hotel. Convenient to everything. Large rooms. A bit of a funky smell.
"Ca' Bragadin Carabba..."
Well, this hotel is not easy to find by any means. It is on a side street, and then there is only a plate with the name on it outside the door so you must look hard for it. You then have to ring a bell to get it, and lug your suitcases up the stairs as there is no lift. You leave your key at the desk every time you leave and have to get it when you […] get back. That got kind of annoying. We had two twins put together, and they slid apart constantly. The rooms are beautiful and new so that is very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was close enough to a water bus stop, and had some good restaurants around. I suppose it just depends on what you are looking for. Lisez la suite
"Great hotel, very close to Rialto"
This was a great hotel, very close to Rialto. Search YouTube for Ca Bragadin to find a video giving you instructions on how to get there, or email them and they will send it to you so you can watch it on your phone! Very good value for money (we went just before Xmas) - it might be more expensive in summer. The room was really lovely, a lot nicer than […] I expected. Really comfortable bed and couch, REALLY high ceilings too! The bathroom was nice and modern, there was a bit of mould above the shower, but nothing major. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even let us talk to them in Italian after I explained that we wanted to practice the language. Didn't try the breakfast. Lisez la suite
"40th Birthday Treat"
After reading such great reviews on this hotel we decided to book it even though it wasnt what we were looking for. We booked the exclusive suite which was worth every penny. The room was enormous with wonderful high ceilings and the small balcony overlooked the square. I was perfect. The only slight dissapointment (we new this already!!) was the lack […] of bar. As we were there in a very cold december, it would have been nice to come back to the hotel for a drink. Although to have a hotel with a bar would have been more expensive and we would never have had such an amazing room. All friends that have been to venice complain about tiny rooms even after paying lots more. Cant fault a thing - lovely staff, great location and a brilliant little hotel... oh and Venice wasnt bad either xxxxx Have a great time. Lisez la suite

"HIDDEN TREASURE"
We have reserved the cheapest room at this hotel, but when we got there we were offered an upgrade for 25 Euros/night . We took it, because our original room was dark and had no character , but on the other hand the upgrade was so beautiful, spacious, had balconies and looked out to a little " campo " or square. Huge bed, beautiful decor, nice TV, a […] little small bathroom for the size of the room but clean and functional . I would stay there again. It is close to main shopping area, bars and Rialto Bridge, one stop to the train station by boat . The key is to watch the video and have in your phone on how to get there, because Venice is really confusing walking and this hotel has no signs and has only a little buzzer in a small alley , hard to find, unless you follow the video along the way, like we did. "Venetian comfort"
This was a lovely hotel to stay in. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff were friendly. We did not have breakfast as this seemed expensive and we just ate locally. It is worth looking at the you tube video of the hotel, because it shows you how to get there. It is difficult to find (especially in the dark, if your flight is delayed!) We […] would stay there again on future visits. The price was extremely good value. Lisez la suite
"Sweet surprise"
They gave us an upgrade from the lower rate we payed for and we slept one incredible night in a huge royal like room. Best unusual hotel we have ever been.
"Hotel Ca' Bragadin Carabba"
I really have mixed feelings about this place. It is a nightmare to find, and if you have several peices of luggage, I would forego it. Too many steps (bridges over canals), and way too far to the boat stops for ease of use. That being said, the staff is professional and well informed, the maids are excellent, the place is clean and the rooms are of […] decent size and modernly appointed. Expect to pay 5 Euro for an hour of internet use, and while I am sure they are brand new and expensive, the beds feel like upholstered bricks. Rialto is a fun area (where the hotel resides), but I think next time I would either stay closer to the canal, or better yet, at one of the many hotels facing the lagoon so that I could enjoy the sunset. Enjoy Venice; it is an amazing place. Lisez la suite
"Ca' Bragadin Carabba, Venice It."
Frantastic, and well maintained. Staff very friendly and Helpful. The best of two hotels we stayed at while in Venice.
"Great value"
Like all of the other reviews for this hotel, we had a little bit of trouble finding it. Once we got into the vicinity, we walked into a clearly marked hotel and they directed us to the ours easily. The staff was extremely friendly and gave great advice on nearby restaurants. The rooms was huge (for European standards) and it was very clean. Downside […] to this joint was the paper thin walls and there just happened to be construction going on outside of in the nearby alley. They didnt start until 0830 so it wasn't too bad. Overall, great value and I would recommend to people trying to travel on a budget. Lisez la suite

"difficult to find"
The hotel is difficult to find - the hotel gives good directions, but get a map to Venice as well. Even with directions and a map, we still had to ask for assistance. Otherwise, everything else was good.
"Ca' Bragadin Carabba - Venice, Italy"
Once you found this hotel, it was wonderful. It was a little difficult to find and and I believe a little pricey and then if you wanted breakfast it was additional. We found it quaint and once we got our bearings we enjoyed it. Only stayed one night. We loved Venice.
"Great spot 4 minutes from Rialto Bridge"
1st off all make sure you have access to or memorize thr youtube video on how to find the hotel from the Rialto Water Taxi stop. Once we found this place, it was great. Huge room with a balcony overseeing a local square. Hotel staff was helpful & friendly. The beds are strange for North Americans (two single beds pushed together). Pretty conveient location […] (close to Rialto Bridge & not too far from St Mark's) Recommended Lisez la suite
"Another great stay at Ca' Bragadin Carabba"
My second time staying here was even better than my previous stay two years ago. Upon arrival, Marco upgraded us to a third floor room facing Campo Santa Marina for no extra charge! The hotel is fantastically charming and situated out the way of the crush of tourists around the Rialto, yet it is close enough to walk there in minutes. Everything you […] might need is within a short walk. A small grocery store, an espresso bar/pasticeria for breakfast, many osteriae and ristaurantae nearby and more shopping than one can imagine. Cons - There are always mosquitoes in the rooms here. I noticed it last time as well and unfortunately the walls are marked with the remains of ex-mosquitoes in places as well. I imagine this happens everywhere in Venice though; bring a good spray with deet. There is no bar soap provided in the bathrooms, and there is nobody on the ground floor to help you with your luggage when you arrive. If you are a light sleeper, the front facing rooms can be noisy as there are people in the campo below at most hours. We also noticed that the old wooden windows are quite creaky at night when there is wind. We didn't try closing the outer shutters, that might have helped. The TV only seems to get two or three channels, but honestly... turn off the TV, go outside! It's Venice!! Venice is notoriously bad for finding good food as most places are geared for tourists, however there is an AMAZING little place literally within steps of the hotel called Osteria Portego. Go there for some Cichetti and a spriz in the early evening or book one of their few tables ahead of time for an amazing and inexpensive authentic local meal. The staff can speak some english, but you won't hear anything but Italian from any of the other patrons. Taverna San Lio is also a short walk for more upscale dining; the food is consistently excellent there. I recommend Ca' Bragadin Carabba and will stay there again on my next visit to Venice. "Wonderful stay!"
My friends and I were in Venice for two nights in September 2011 and chose this hotel based on price and location (and other positive reviews). As many have stated before, the hotel itself is hard to find as it has only one entrance which is a small door down a rather hidden corridor. We wandered around for a short while but found the door after a little […] searching and what we found inside was a pleasant surprise. We had reserved a triple room that was, admittedly, a bit cramped. It was more like a double room that had a rollaway bed added to it but it was roomy enough and, since we weren’t in it for very long, was suitable for a good nights’ rest. The most important thing (to me, personally) is a clean bathroom and our bathroom was one of the cleanest we saw during our entire trip. Also, the water pressure was fantastic! The front desk is open 24-hours, which is very convenient! The hotel also allows you to store your luggage, free of charge, after you have checked out. We left three large pieces of luggage there while we went to Murano just before we had to catch an evening train out and did not run into any problems. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is great as it’s just a 10-15 minute walk from St Mark’s Square and a 10 minute walk from Rialto Bridge. The hotel itself is what I would consider a boutique hotel. There is no elevator but the concierge was nice enough to carry all of our giant bags up to our room on the 3rd floor. That’s what I call service! The only negative thing that I would have to say about this hotel is that, since there is usually only one person on duty, there were a few times when we would have to wait in line to speak with the concierge. You have to turn in your key whenever you leave and pick it up when you come back so, if the concierge happens to be checking someone in or helping someone during any of those times, there would be a line to get service. However, we never found this to be much of an inconvenience Lisez la suite

"great value in Venice"
This hotel was a great value in Venice, the room was very comfortable and large for Europe standards. The only issue is getting your luggage to the room, we were told by the hotel that the best way is private water taxi at 120$, this didnt prove to be the best case, take public transportation with your luggage, there are porters that will take your […] luggage for you for 20 euro!!! "A hidden treasure."
It was not easy to find despite the fact that I had clear instructions. But it was worth the extra effort. The main entrance is on the left side (small side street) when looking at the place from the market / square. We loved the location and the hotel was convenient to all the sited we wanted to see.
