Hotel vieillot mais relativement propre. Personnel agréable à la disposition des clients. Emplacement idéal à promité des différentes lignes de métro , de la Vème avenue, de Times SQuare. Pensez à réclamer des serviettes de bain qui sont distribuées au nombre de brosse à dents présenté dans la salle de bain.

Hôtel agréable, petit déjeuner servit de 6h30 à 9h30 correcte (ne pas arriver trop tard), station de métro ( 39 Av ) à 3min à pieds qui vous mène en 9min à la 5ème Avenue. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Nous recommandons fortement cet hotel. Super vue sur manhattan, terrasse exceptionnelle sur les toits..fabuleux !!! les chambres sont très cosy, propres, vraiment rien à redire. C'était parfait. les alentours de l'hotel sont effectivement surprenants (zone industrielle) mais peu importe la qualité, le service, la vue nous font, tout de suite, oublier les environs. Même si nous ne sommes dans manhattan même, aucun souci de transport.....en 10 minutes grand max nous y sommes. c'est très bien desservi et en plus il y a une navette qui peut nous amener au centre de manhattan. Vriament nous recoomandons vivement cet hotel et si c'était à refaire nous y retournerons sans problème! c'est fabuleux !!!!

La chambre n'est pas très spacieuse mais on est plus souvent dehors.Le petit déjeuné rien à dire de tout et en quantité même avec des ados.Un personnel à l'écoute.Bien situé pour visiter la grosse pomme à pied ou en métro.Si je retournais à New york je séjournerais là.

Hôtel très bien situé : 10 mn à pied de Times square (avec un bébé en poussette et un enfant de 5 ans à pied), 5 mn du rockfeller center, 3 mn de la station de métro la plus proche (ligne orange) et 10 mn de Grand Central. personnel correct et proprete d'ensemble correcte Salle de petit déjeuner très petite et vite pleine des 7h30 du matin. Chambres […] très petites pour 4 d'autant que nous étions deux adultes, un enfant et un bébé : très peu d'espace de mouvements, pas possible de mettre un lit bébé. hotel qui ne merite pas son nom , chambres sales oreillers sentant le tabac ,chambres insonorisées avec du papier a cigarette tres bruyant personnel peu concerné pas souriant,et la cerise sur le gateau est certainnement le petit dejeuné car c'est vraiment petit 20 places pour 250 personnes chercher l'erreur tres peu de choix avons pris le café debout […] vraiment j'ai comme un sentiment d'arnaque vraiment a deconseillé Lisez la suite

Situation idéale proche de time Square , au coeur de la ville. Problème au niveau du petit déjeuner :salle dans l'accueil de l'hotel , exigue, avec seulement une dizaine de petites tables pour un hotel de 24 étages ! Et en plus avec des tables devant la porte d'entrée en plen courrant d'air ( heureusement qu'il ne faisait encore pas trop froid !)

Location was great, but the rooms were extremely small and the walls paper thin. Clean and the staff was nice.
The room was much smaller than anticipated, no room for the roll-a-way that was requested. Although there were no roll-a-ways available even if there had been room for one. Location was wonderful, close to subway and Time Square.

"great staff"
great staff! they will do almost anything to keep their hotel guests happy. check out is at 12, but if your flight, train, or bus leaves much later & you want to do some more site-seeing, they will lock up your bags free of charge until you return. nice!

If you are spending any amount of time in the hotel while in NYC you don't want this hotel. But for a place to crash in the heart of midtown, this is the place for you. Breakfast is very crowded so go early to avoid the jam packed lobby where the buffet is located. Room was very small and carpeting was very dirty. Adaquate for 2 people but really small for a family of 4. Free breakfast is a plus.

Awesome location! I went to NYC to see Oprah at the radio city music Hall, and I was literally less than a three minute walk away. The room was very small, almost as if it was built around our king size bed, but to be fair we also had a crib and a stroller in those two things take up a lot of room. I've stay here several times since it is close to my office and my commute from Central New Jersey gets hectic and long when I have to work late. While some of the rooms are small they are clean, modern and have the amenities I want. In addition, the complimentary breakfast is a plus! On the last day of my stay I didn't have to go to the office and […] I "lounged" for a little while and brought the breakfast to my room before I checked out. What a treat and it really helped get my batteries charged for the rest of the day. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Right across the street is a club or something and all you can hear until late into the night is loud, 80s music. Otherwise the hotel is perfect. Great location by 5th avenue, and a few blocks from Broadway.

This was a nightmare. From the moment I walked in till three hours I checked out and got another hotel room. TO CHARGE such prices for a one star hotel take this off your list !! The lobby when you enter the hotel is very ordinary. The rooms thought very comfortable, were very very small. We had a room in front of the hotel and had a hard time sleeping as it was very noisy outside. Breakfast was excellent, the best part of our stay although not enough room to sit everybody. Had breakfast standing a couple of mornings. If you want great proximity to all things Times Square, stay here! Our room was comfortable and for the price we couldn't be more satisfied. The lobby is tiny for meals but since breakfast is complimentary guests should just be happy. We were pleasantly suprised by the hotel. Staff was great. Will be here again soon!

We spent 2 nights in the city and at the last minute decided to spend 3rd. Well, our hotel didn't have availability, so I went on Hotels.com and book at this holiday inn express. The price was HALF of what we were paying right up the street and the location was so much closer to time square!! The room was small, but no smaller than our first! Free continental […] breakfast & wifi. We walked from the hotel to Madison Square Garden and back 2 times for Hockey games. Also, very close to the subway!! Great Hotel for the Price!!! Room neat and clean, a little small but it is NYC, great location between Time Square and Grand Central. Good added value with morning breakfast but it could not be set up worse. No flow to it, people on top of each other trying to get to food. Lobby is in the middle of remodeling so that might be the cause but if that was the normal set up it needs […] help. The lobby was still under construction even though when I called I was told it would be finished. I would also have loved having a few more pillows in our room. but the staff was very friendly (got us extra towels, toilet paper, and helped fix our tv.) the room, though small, was very clean and quiet and I was glad we were able to control the temperature. "Holiday Inn Express NY Midtown"
The hotel lobby is under construction. Dust, noise, lobby closed off at times so you have to enter and exit using a flight of stairs. Not convenient when carrying luggage. No services, only vending machines that accept cash only. I had booked for 2 nights but left after 1. I would never have booked this hotel had I known about the constuction.

I picked this hotel because of the location, and it is very well connected since it's really close to Times Square. However, the hotel is under construction which was a bit of a bother - the street entrance is hidden, and the majority of the reception area is closed off because of the renovations, and it's very dusty.
