Les + : proximité des chutes du Niagara (10 min en voiture) Les - : pas très accueillant Ecart entre les photos de l'hôtel et la réalité (piscine vide, tables extérieures pas entretenues) Chambre très petite, avec douche sombre et exigüe Le "petit-déjeuner continental" se résume à un café et un donut.

Hôtel très pratique et de très bon conseil, ce qui est très utile dans cette région ou le touriste peut etre vite attrapé par les nombreux opérateurs locaux

Not fancy, or new, but does the job. Room was clean; staff was friendly and efficient.

Never ever think about this Not worth wasting penny

Nasty, tiny rooms, filthy carpet, disgusting smell at a substantial price. We were unable to stay after an inspection of the room. Sleep in your car or anywhere but here.

Its not at all good. No soaps & shampoo. No continental/complementary breakfast.

If you are looking for bare bones accomodation then this is the place. The room is small, the TV channels were limited and the walls were paper thin. There were no ammenities. We asked for a bucket of ice and got it in a bowl. There were limited electrical plugs. We had to unplug a lamp to plug in our Koolatron. The heat is centrally controlled which […] on a cool night means that you had better have a pair of warm jammies. Coffee and donuts are cut off promptly at 09:00am. The owner was nice enough to bring over extra pillows when we asked her for them. It was clean and served it's purpose on a short stay. Enough said. Lisez la suite

The good: - Convenient location, about 5-10mins or less drive to the falls depending on local traffic. - There's a shopping mall conveniently located across the street, in case you need to replenish any travel supplies or need medicine - Cheap rates on hotels.com, may even be cheaper if you call to ask about the rates. The bad: - Backyard is a bit […] messy with some overgrown grass, and pool is closed for the season so the water is a bit stale attracting mosquitoes and bugs. - Spider webs in corners of the room - Continental breakfast is just coffee and donuts, nothing else. - Only 2 bars of soap, and no shampoo or other amenities in the bathroom. The good- Well maintained. It was clean. Bad- The rooms are very small. You could hear the tv/ppl talking from the next room, which is very odd if you want some private time. Other than that, It was clean. We stayed only one night. The office ppl were great.

we are on a serious budget so staying in a motel vs a hotel horrified me. the hotel is not the most updated but the staff was very nice & accomidating. the pool was very clean. the rooms were spotless. the beds were amazing. my daughter asked if we could go back just to get a good nights rest. like i said it wasnt very current but we would return for […] cleanliness alone. the staff were friendly, the room was comfotable. the distance to the falls is not bad. yes it is an older motel but personally i LIKE these kinds of places. i would recomend this place to anyone going to niagara falls. the pool was more than enough. the hours would be nice if they were extended.

Well-maintained hotel with friendly service. We were upgraded to a room with microwave and refrigerator for free. The room seemed to be very clean. Management also let my husband and son in the pool early, to make our stay more enjoyable. We'd definitely stay here again.

This is a great little 1950-1960's motel well kept by the proud owners. A little noisey, but otherwise great.

We never made it to the breakfast, but the manager assured me that it was only donuts and coffee. The queen sized beds aren't ;) Most of the rooms including ours have low mounted A/C units which tend to blow right across the bed. If I had to watch my money, I might stay there again. It wasn't a bad motel, just not quite a good one.

1st room had no light in bathroom. Rooms should be painted and renovated. Bath facilities are not very good. TV extremely hard to use. Remote useless. No phone in room.

Small is an understatement, but the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful!! It was relatively inexpensive and close to everything that we wanted to see. I would stay here again with no problem!

Conveniently located in 5 minutes drive from american falls and rainbow bridge; rooms are clean, and staff is friendly. On the downside, the hotel is too old. Doors are hard to open, bed linen is worn, and the air conditioner makes more noise than cold. It's ok for one night, but for longer stays look elsewhere

if you are looking for a not so expensive place and not a lot of bells and whistles this place is right for you. Attendant was very friendly and helped with everything I needed. Hotel room was ok, its an old building so its a little outdated.. other than that my stay was as smooth as I wished it to be.

Look up the phrase fleabag hotel in the dictionary and you'll likely find the Swiss Cottage phone number. Located on a strip of fleabag hotels against which it likely ranked the lowest, the Swiss Cottage Inn provided a filthy room and filthier bath. The TV was ancient and the cable signal was snowy and off-color. The "continental breakfast" was a 12-cup […] coffeemaker and three plates of stale danish pastries, powdered sugar and chocolate frosted donuts respectively. The motel is old but kept clean and the pool was wonderful as it was very hot. The staff were very nice and quite helpful.

pleasantly suprised. this place does't have immediate eye appeal but the room was comfortable and the bed was one of the best on our eight day trip.it's an older hotel but the staff was friendly and seemed eager to help with anything we needed.

We stayed there for one night. The bed is not comftable at all. The matress is spring type, could not sleep. The pillows were as flat as pancake. The air conditioner was loud and next to my head. The room was very small so is the rest room. In the morning the parking lot was flooded with water from the rain. You get what you pay for.

This is a pretty reasonable hotel. it is a short drive from the American side of the falls. No frills, no amenities, old beds, but the plumbing worked and the hotel was reasonably priced considering everything.

We stayed here for 2 nights as our daughter had orientation at a local college..it is a dated hotel but the rates were good. My wife left her diamond rings(very expensive) in the room by mistake and the cleaning staff had found them and left them where we could find them when we returned to our room....so for that we are thankful for their honesty. […] You can get better rooms for twice the price. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family. It really isn't worth it.. The A/C knob was broken and we couldn't turn increase/decrease the temperature. The shower was bad. There was not clock in the room and even in the office area, there was no coffee even after asking the response was coffee is over.

Close to the freeway,a very dated motel,but clean in the rooms, and friendly staff, We were there on the 3rd of July,the price doubled for the fourth,went to the motel 6 Canadian side for the same price with a better pool.

We stayed there for just one night looking for the cheapest hotel. I read the reviews and kind of worried but it was pretty ok. bed was comfy, some what clean. We just wanted a place to sleep and wash up and I think this place was very good for that purpose. The shower was a bit confusing though.

We saq the room and got a room at another hotel. She would not give us a refund, so we are stuck with a bill for 2 nights.

I would recommend staying here at this hotel very convienent to shopping, food and Niagra Falls. The manager was very nice and helpful with directions and information. Thanks

booked in april had it paid in full asked for a cot for my daughter was told it was included .went there in june was charged an extra ten dollars. was not happy at all. would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

the bathroom is terrible the only positive thing is that it's close to Niagara falls.

Shower is super small and gross. Toilet doesn't work very well. You can barely flash the toilet. The front desk lady is very rude. Refrigerator is not working. Location is very loud, you can hear the traffic can't sleep. Only a tiny little garbage bin in the bathroom.

It is a cheap hotel for one night stay. Dont expect breakfast before 8:30.
