Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ventura - Ventura

J'ai été très déçu de payer 10.00$ pour stationner la voiture. Surtout que l'emplacement de l'hôtel n'est pas accessible sans voiture. La commis du comptoir m'a répondu que les autres hôtels du coin ont commencé à charger ces frais et que eux aussi ont fait de même. Tout étaient parfait sauf sur ce point. Si j'ai a y retourner, cette insatisfaction […] pourrait me faire penser de choisir une autre emplacement. Quand tu choisis une hôtel tu t'attend à ce que le stationnement soit compris dans le tarif. The location of this hotel was wonderful. close to the harbor shops and restaurants, and near enough to Main street shopping as well. The Harbor location however comes with harbor smells, ie, diesel, sulfur, just an overall funky smell throughout the entire hotel, so we couldn't really enjoy the balcony outside, or leave the large door open for "fresh" […] breezes. The included breakfast is so bad though, don't count on it for anything other than cereal and coffee, I couldn't even get hot tea! In room coffee sucks and the ten dollar parking fee is ridiculous. That's how they pay for the free continental breakfast.

nice place. on the reservations it said we had a jetted tub, got to the room and our tub was tiny and deffinitly not jetted.

Free breakfast was ok, step above continental. Usually crowded and food comes in waves so the crowd is ravenous and supply gets depleted quick. Get there early if your trying to get pancakes! The lady working there is not helpful and seems upset. Place was nice, harbor views nice, rooms nice

wifi didnt seem to work in our room which was a little annoying overall it was ok nothing to brag about i think it said they charge us 10 bucks for parking which is completely rediculous especially when there are signs throughout the parking lot saying park at own risk area subject to flooding?? room was clean and service was ok arrived an hour early […] and was told to come back in an hour. Daily breakfast was good and well stocked, hotel staff was friendly.

The room was nice and spacious. Liked being at the harbor. The only problem we encountered was a very intermittent internet connection.

View of the harbor is great. Bathroom was chilly because only heat source is in bedroom and crank window doesn't close tightly. We stuffed a spare pillow in the window to keep the cold air out but some heat source in the bathroom would be nice. It can get chilly here at night in December. Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay but having to pay for parking was ridiculous. All the rest of the parking in the harbor is free so it makes no sense. Just left a bad taste in the mouth.....

The hotel itself was nice. A little noisey. I did not like the fact that there were no mention of the parking fees. We noticed it posted as we entered the parking lot. Also I was asked for how I wanted to pay for the parkihng on checking out. I stated, cash, but when I returned home and checked by account online, there were the charges for $35.00. What a great location next to the warf. I'm not a fan of the doors accessible to the outside, but the hotel staff was nice and it was a clean.

Beautiful hotel - very clean. Just a warning - you must pay to park in their lot - even if you are staying in their hotel.

Room was comfortable and bed was very nice. The breakfast was not very good. I don't think the eggs were real. The "omlett" had very strange cheese in it. The morning buns were great. Good coffee.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ventura was very nice. The location was good and the view is beautiful. the hotel staff was very nice and clean. The staff gave us a list of all restaurants in the area, and gave directions any time we needed them. I would rate this hotel A++. All rooms have a harbor view. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were quiet, spacious and very clean. The clerk at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We have stayed here in the past and would stay again in future if the occasion arises. The hotel provides a free breakfast which is very convenient.

Good hotel but the location was not what i expected.

Second time we've stayed here. Great crew, Hotel is close to restaurants, and a great view of the harbor. Very peaceful and relaxing environment.

The hotel was ideally located. Hotel reception staff was friendly and very helpful. Only stayed one night but we are very happy to recommend if you are visiting the area.

Great place to stay. We had a 2-Queen bed suite with a kitchenette which was great for 4 people. In fact I had reserved two room and the other girls thought it was wonderful too! Its walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We had a great time and would come back to stay.

It was all good. The hotel was easy to find. The parking was convienient and ample even when busy. The desk clerk was friendly and knowledgable. The room was good. When we travel as a threesome, accomadations can be tricky as we all have different schedules. This worked well. I called the day before, I requested a quiet room. Upon check in (at 3pm), staff was unhelpful, attitude was "you get what you get" Seemed rather irritated that I even asked. I called for a wakeup call, had to be somewhere important early in the morning. Didn't get a wakeup call AT ALL! When I checked out, I told the frontdesk, she said, "Oh really, […] huh." No apology, nothing. And just a side note, there was a terrible odor outside hotel in the evening. (I think it was from the harbor.) Although we only stayed for one night, we couldn't find any fault with your facility. We've stayed in other Holiday Inn Express places before, and that was one of the reasons we picked the place in Ventura. Never had a problem.

Clean and well maintained motel room with balcony and view of Ventura Harbor. Pool is at the next door Sheraton. Nice jumping off point for Channel Islands National Park. Boat ride from Oxnard Harbor 10 minutes away was 90 minutes out to Santa Cruz Island. The island was actually sunny and warmer than the mainland (stange cold CA summer we are having). […] Spent 4 hours on island, saw foxes and sea lions and awesome views. Back to Ventura for dinner. My husband, 10 year old son and I stayed at this hotel. We had a king bed w/a queen fold out couch. The bed and the couch were very comfortable. Walking distance to the harbor shops and restaurants. Very fun place to stay w/great amenities!

Clean and neat. Close to the Harbor. Nothing extraordinary or luxury but it definitely met our expectations. Actually the breakfast was better than expected.

Large roomy accomodations. fridge stove dishes...great deal

Room door opens to the outside. Musty smells in the area (not necessarily the hotel). All in all this felt more like a cheap motel than an inexpensive hotel. I've stayed at many a Holiday Inn Express. This one was not up to the same standards I've come to expect.

Room was clean and spacious. Had microwave, refrig., coffee maker, etc. Within walking distance of the marina shops and restaurants. The room faced the marina. Beautiful sights. Breakfast was included and had many choices. Very satisfying. Staff was always friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return.

This is a great place near Channel Islands. The staff is friendly and cheerful. They gave us directions about the downtown, which is about 10 min drive away. Good breakfast too.

The staff was very friendly, however the hotel itself is a little dreary. The numbering system is backwards so it takes a minute to figure out which way to go to find your room. The rooms are large and the bed is comfortable. This is a no-frills hotel and I wouldn't stay there more than one night. It was fine for our purposes.
