Sea Beach Plaza - Fort Lauderdale

Personnel très accueillant et chaleureux. Nous avons pu laisser notre voiture jusqu'à 14h le lendemain matin sur le parking de l'hôtel pour aller à la plage, avec le prêt de deux serviettes. L'hôtel est propre mais un peu vieux. Le lit de la chambre doit être d'époque, c'est-à-dire très mou et bruyant. Nous avons finalement mis le matelas par terre […] pour dormir. Par ailleurs, malgré le "grand lit" promis lors de la réservation, nous avons eu un 190x140 cm. Un peu court pour nos gabarits. seul avantage tout prêt de la plage et pour aller faire des balades en bateau mais aspect de l'hotel très délabrét difficile de fermer la porte de la chamrbe et un ascenceur en piteux état. la piscine très mal entretenue même pas fréquentable.literie confortable mais c'est tout ce que je vois de positive.belle cuisine mais pas de poignée pour ouvrir […] les placards et notre repas du midi oublié dans le frigo était soi disant déjà dans le conténair ce que j'ai douté.il aurait je pense pu nous être réstitué donc rien de sympa. très bon emplacement et personnel très gentil et disponible. Idéal pour 1 nuit car hôtel un peu vieux.

Bien situé mais un peu d'aspect un peu vieillot. Chambre spacieuse avec petit coin cuisine bien équipé (frigo, micro-ondes, grille pain, plaque chauffante, un peu de vaisselle). Cet établissement ne sert pas de petit déjeuner.

Hotel sympatique, simple et agreable.dommage qui ne soit pas mieux entretenu. Probleme de connextion internet dans les chambres. Nous devions rester 1 nuit, nous sommes reste 1 semaine.

Bon rapport qualité/prix pour cet hôtel situé dans un cadre pas très "charming" mais néanmoins près du centre de Naples. L'accueil y est agréable et les chambres propres et spacieuces.

Peu de personnes en cette saison, et donc également peu de personnel. Le jour de mon départ par exemple, je devais partir tôt et l'hôtel était complètement vide. Heureusement que j'avais payé d'avance sinon je n'aurai pas pu avoir mon avion. Sinon l'hôtel est bien situé, très proche de la plage, pas très loin du centre.

Efficiency, poorly equipped ie; 1 cup 1 mug 6 knives 2 forks 2 soup bowls 9 plates etc. More likely to eat out than use what is provided for cooking... Next, wear shoes,floors are filthy. Great location. it's ok for a quick stay or when not many vacancies elsewhere. We will return only if no other options open to us.

Mice in the room. Electric cords not safe. Holes in walls. Room was just nasty. Cabinets were missing handles. Stove did not have a handle. Broken and missing tiles on the floor.It is sad that this hotel has been let go. If someone would clean it up, it would be a nice place. As it is, it is disgusting.

Called a day before for early check in but was informed to check after arriival . After reaching they told me that room is ready ,but when reached non room was ready and they did not even know that we called from airport. Got room when returned after lunch room was below expectation ,dirty. Could not sleep used our own bed sheet purchased from nearby […] shop,not used towel ,bathroom dirty and difficult to use.refrigerator ,air conditioner making noise .total bad start of my trip. The owner and employees were exceptionally nice and accommodating. The hotel was a 2 minute walk to the beach and a great restaurant. The hotel was a short cab ride to the cruise terminal. The hotel was clean, but in dire need of updating - the vertical blinds were broken, floor tile cracked, furniture worn out, beds too soft/broken down.

The hotel was dirty and the showers were not working at all, had to wash with a washcloth, blinds broken and no Privicey

We decided to spend a few days in Ft Lauderdale before a cruise. We got a decent price during Spring Break, so we didn't know what to expect. * I wrote most of this and then read it. I made the mistake of walking around in white socks. I ended up throwing them away. Yes, they were that dirty. Our door locks didn't work on first room, and barely had enough room to move around the bed, so they moved us into a second room (apartment) with two rooms, a living room / Kitchen with an air conditioner and a bedroom with no air-conditioning. The wall in the bathroom looked like it was repaired with plaster. It wasn't sanded, painted, and just plain nasty, and they left the broken piece of curtain rod in the wall. Ceiling fan shroud was gone exposing electrical wires. Kitchen was barely equipped with minimal utensils. The elevator had broken tiles and smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals. So strong it gave me an asthma attack. We couldn't wait to check out of that place. What this place needs is gutting. remove all the busted up wooden doors, strip out the floors and walls, re-wire, re-plumb, new HVAC, insulation, drywall, paint, doors, hardware, and carpet. Ok, it would be easier tear it down and rebuild a new hotel. Probably cheaper too. Now I know I am old, and also know that Ft Lauderdale is a party spot and that our younger generation may not care if their doors were kicked in destroying the capability to actually lock. They are looking for a place to crash, puke, shower and repeat the party, so for those patrons, this place may be fine. No phone that worked No TV that worked (couldn't call "front desk" because phone didn't work)

For the price, that is what you get, minor problems like a light switch that doesn't work, very wornout white towells, a coffee maker that doesn't work, no remote control for the TV. The parking was OK, free and plenty.

I found that the wall really need a good wipe down and paint job.The television was in a real wierd spot as you could not see it from the bed.Also when checking out you do get a copy of your bill. The people where nicethat worked there.Your ad on the internet is not a all like the hotel front entance in the picture.

Well to start with the hotel is clearly family owned and every time I went to the front deck including check in and check out - they were fighting ! At one point the older man (father) threathened to kill the younger man (son) They were crazy !!! So when i got to my room, it was just gross, the walls were dirty, cracks everywhere. Even the "clean" towels […] were dirty ! One they the maid forgot to give me clean towels and the next day I got no maid service at all !!! When I checked out I saw a sign on the wall "no Maid service on Sunday" - wow, I guess no shower on Sunday either !!! It was just bad in every way - never stay there ! Lisez la suite

I love mildewy, thickly--painted examples of 50's Florida, and this convenient, well-priced motel fits the bill. Free wi-fi, pleasant staff, etc. exceed (in my mind) the 3x as expensive, less-accommodating more modern facilities across the street directly on the beach.

Overall the hotel adequate for a family stay. The property needs some TLC however it was mostly clean, no bugs, great location in calmer area of Ft Lauderdale and the walk to the beach via South Beach Park was pleasant and quick ( crossing of the busy street just takes a little patience). We had the efficiency room which had an adequate kitchen but […] the bathroom had some mold in the calk and the tiles around the shower should be redone. The vertical shades should be replaced. Very noise. unclean, broken blinds,broken screen,fan would not turn off, light switch not working,no hangers, old sheets and holes in the bed spread. I will NEVER stay at this Motel ever again and would not recommend it to anyone. I was to stay two nights but cancelled the second night. Worst Motel i ever stayed in.

Great location; yet this motel property is past it's prime. Semms to operate on momentum, having been passed by with newer, higher end hotel properties. At some point all will come down and become condos. Other than price and location, not much to recommend about this property.

Friendly staff, great location close to the beach and nightlife along the strip, and the price was great compared to everything around it. Floor was perpetually sandy, bed was lumpy, shower was unpredictable, and the cable service was intermittent. dumpy and kinda gross, but the location could not be beat, the bed was lumpy, the sheets and towles were dirty, there was not enough lighting in the room, the fan would not turn on, we had to unplug the tv to find outlets to plug in our phones, but the staff was nice! Would not stay again but fit my price range at the time.

This seems to be a spot waiting for redevelopment and the big bucks. Close to the beach and some nice hotels and condos. It could use a paint job, inside and out. Some staff is friendly and helpful, but others have poor manners. The check-out time is an unusual 11 AM, which is not posted on doors. the staff has done a great job with making an old hotel a little more updated. it is in need of repair in some areas, but it was very clean. th epool is small but the price was EXCELLENT for the area. just a stones throw away from the ocean and shopping/bars. the staff was excellent in helping us find what we needed in the area. this is not for the […] rich and famous but a person with limited money it was great!!! i would defineately stay here again. Convenient location, thats the only good thing. Close to the Broward Convention center where I was taking a test.The Wifi Connection is useless, it won´t work inside your room, you need to go out to the pool area to get connected. The phone didn´t work properly, I was waiting for an important call and missed it. Okay so let's get this out of the way- Its not the most modern hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was clean, it was comfortable and most of all it was quiet! The place is solidly built so you can't hear all the noise from the neighboring rooms. The rooms were efficiencies with a full fridge and cooking facilities. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, […] but it looked in decent shape. Wish the parking was a little more secure, but didn't have any problems. This hotel isn't even worth renting by the hour. It was discusting. Don't waste your time or money!

we got to the rm and there was no shower head or toilet, someones clothes was on the bed the door was already opened but we had the key in our hand we were then given another room after i asked to check out ,the place is more like a boarding house rather than a hotel ,i would not reccomed or use this service to anyone,there were also roaches bugs which […] we told the owner on checkout . The old adage you get what you pay for, applies to this "hotel". This place is in desperate need of some remodeling and updating. It looks like an old apartment complex converted to hotels, they use actual keys for the rooms! The door barely closed, a/c unit was loud, there were no bathroom amenities and the towels were the kind you find in a gym. Check-in/check-out […] was a unsettling. I arrived way before 1 am, and the office was closed. There was a sealed envelope with my key sitting in the key box! Thank goodness it worked and there were no immediate issues with my room. Check out consisted of me tossing my key through a mail slot, because office was closed, and that was 9 am on a Monday. All asthetic and customer service aside, the location is not bad. It's clustered with some other smaller motels and major hotel chains. The hotel was two blocks from the beach and maybe half a mile from beach entertainment and restaurants. If it hadn't been for the location, price and no refund policy, I seriously would've checked out early. Lisez la suite

We received a nice big 3rd floor corner room with a kitchen, which was mainly very clean. Beds, bathroom and floors were very clean, sofa not. We chose this place because its close to the beach and that was convenient for us. You can also walk to restaurants on the main beach strip though they are about 1 mile away. The pool was smaller than what it […] looks on the pictures and really not worth using. There was no barbeque available as mentioned on the motel info. The public areas would need some TLC. The location is great, close to the beach, Las Olas, etc. However, there's nothing else good to say about the Sea Beach Plaza. It's extremely run-down, no renovations to speak of for such an aged structure. No attempts to update interior spaces, i.e., cheap vertical blinds that collapse if you touch them (notice that the blinds are always drawn closed […] in any photos because if one were to open them, they would fall apart, that's why they're always closed). Additionally, most of the rooms front the common walkways, they're advertised as having balconies, but they're outdoor hallways. So, even if one was to be brave enough to draw open their cheap blinds, he'd quickly realize that everyone can see right into their room, i.e., their bed, so of course one will have them drawn closed, like everybody will soon realize once checking in. I was moved to 3 different rooms in the span of an hour: 1st room ... the fridge did not work, and the coffee maker was 'disassembled'. Also, no wi-fi access from the room. So, I was moved to another room, where the fridge door did not close and the door to the room would not lock properly, but was told to 'jiggle it'. Also, to close the door, one had to slam it shut because it just would not close. So, the idea of slamming the door at midnight, waking up everybody in the hotel, and then not being able to lock it was unacceptable, so I was then moved to another room, where I was told the wi-fi would be better and the door would close and lock properly. So, OK, the door closed OK, and fridge worked, no coffee maker, but microwave worked but the timer on it didn't work, but hey, I'm OK with that. Anyway, not a hanger in the room, nor a towel rack, and the bathroom shower rod was broken and the shower curtain bunched up in the middle, but hey, that's OK, too, not a deal breaker. Anyway, the wi-fi didn't work very well at all, in fact, it was not up and running 90% of the time ... excuses given were that it does that when it's cloudy, or it does Lisez la suite

i felt like i was staying in one of the district 9 houses from the movie. dont stay here

excellent hotel for the location and the price close to everything, and the personel very helpful.
