"The Complete Package!"
From the quality of the room and furnishings, 3 TV's including one in the bath, to the choice of 4 restaurants on the property, to the outdoor pool and spa, I truly felt I was being pampered for a price 1/2 of what others charge! "Ok"
It was clean and nice, but one of the main reasons I booked my room is because it had a hot tub. The drain on the tub was messed up it wouldn't hold water good. So we just crashed instead of getting to enjoy it. The rest of the room was ok. We wouldn't have spent the kind of money on just a room and bed, but oh well.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Hard for people using a walker"
Hotel is great but it would be nice to have room service available 24-7. I like the casino but the cobblestone walkways are really difficult for someone like me who has to use a walker. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.Avis véridique Hotels.com

My overall experience in the hotel was positive. The front desk staff was friendly and informative. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and bathrooms were beautiful. The water in the shower was only luke warm. In addition, the hotel's description should state that they are still under construction because many of the night spots were closed. I always enjoy staying at Ameristar when I get the chance. Especially with the good deals you get on this site. Only bad comment I have is the smoking in the common areas. I know its a casino, but as a non smoker its disgusting to hop on to an elevator filled with smoke and then you reek of smoke. I will stay here again. This is the nicest hotel in […] St Charles. Room was excellent. Very similar in layout to Venetian in Las Vegas. Hotel was quiet during the week, but got a bit raucus and noisy on the weekend. Two of the restaurants were closed for renovations so breakfast wasn't up to par, but we had a very nice dinner at Bugatti's. We would stay there again.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Disappointing stay"
We visited the Ameristar in Blackhawk, Colordao. That was an excellent casino. I would rate them with 5 stars. The Ameristar in Missouri was very disappointing. I would only rate it 1 star. The condition of the casino was disappointing. It was dingy and stingy. We even had to pay for our drinks. We have never stayed in any other casino where we had […] to pay for drinks. On the other hand, the service provided by the people who work there was good. The overall feeling was not good. I would not recommend anyone to stay there. "Awesome room"
This hotel room was very unique compared to others I have stayed at. The sunken living room was very roomy and gave it a comfortable feel. The bathroom was also very big and I loved the TV in it. The rooms were beautiful. The dealers were 90% temporarys and consistently did the wrong payouts with table having to instruct them on what to pay out. Cocktail waitresses were truly awful and I am usually pretty easy to please, several friends were at different tables and had the same opinion. I was impressed from check-in to check-out. Valet service was top noch and fast. Check-in clerk was helpful and fast. The late night restaurant was also fast, and helpful.
