Chambre très confortable et propre (préférer une chambre ne donnant pas sur l'avenue principale). Personnel très sympathique dont certains parlent le français. Le restaurant (petits déjeuner, déjeuner et diner) sur place est très bon. L'hôtel situé sur l'avenue principale (passagère) est un peu éloigné du centre. Il faut compter 10 à 15 minutes de marche pour se rendre dans le centre mais l'hôtel offre gratuitement des pass pour le bus (arrêt juste à côté). Le parking est également gratuit.

L'hotel est en dehors du centre de Banff, donc il est necessaire de prendre la voiture pour sortir diner. Hotel décoré de facon moderne, ce qui change agréablement des hotels standards. La chambre est très propre.

une bonne impression Globale. Il faisait chaud dans la suite car les fenêtre avec moustiquaires que l'on pouvait ouvrir étaient trop petites pour faire courant d'air.

"Bonne adresse"

"Wonderful Lodge"
When we first walked into our room, we were amazed. Beautifully put together with a fire place and kitchenette. This was a more joyful stay than some of the 4.5 star hotels in other locations we've stayed. "G reat time and great stay."
We found our stay in Jasper a lot of fun and a very comfortable stay at the Saweridge.The room was great and the beds were soooo comfy. Everything we needed was exactly where we needed it to be. Our room was terrific and would have been perfect, if not for the room next door having a child that SCREAMED none stop from the time they returned to the room till it passed out. We ended up running the room fan on high all the time and running the Dishwasher before going to bed to mask the noise. These are rather suites or apartments than hotel rooms. Everything was brand new and very cozy. The kitchenette is actually a kitchen. Only complaint was about the beds. The Falcon Crest Lodge is located on the way into Canmore in an area of other condos/lodges. No stores in the immediate vicinity but you will find them just down the road a bit. Free wifi. Movies were available at the front desk at no extra charge, and there were board games etc for people to borrow as well. Underground parking. No pool but 2 outdoor hottubs. A nice place to stay. Cons: the hot tubs could be open earlier; the exercise room should be open much earlier (people like to exercise early before breakfast even on holidays); some maintenance required around the south hot tub. I am used to a King size bed so I couldn't rate the room comfort with a higher score because Queen is the biggest bed they currently have. BUT, the manager told us they are in the process of upgrading to King size beds so that shouldn't be an issue next time. This was our 4th stay and we love the amenities. The hotel itself is fine - nice rooms, quiet, and not overpriced. But people should know it is not "two" blocks to town as I was told - it is 1.5 km to main street Canmore - which, if you do not have a car, makes it interesting to find food within a reasonable distance. I landed there on a Sunday night, and the only restaurant (Indochine) in the building […] or within close proximity is closed Monday and Tuesday's, so my options were to walk or take a cab into town for all my meals, or order in. It does however, have a nice kitchen, if you want to go shop and cook in. Fine place to stay if you have transportation. If you want to be closer to amenities, look elsewhere.
