Always a pleasure. I'm a repeat customer to this hotel. Staff is wonderful. The suite room is terrific. The breakfast is not so good I always pass

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows. I was disappointed with the breakfast. There were very few items and the seating was full at all times but otherwise it was a great stay. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

There was an issue about the room door possibly being off the hinge and the concierge didnt seem concerned about the problem when the issue was explained to him. Also, the bed was a little too soft.

Nice hotel, conveniently located to Vidant Health, State Park and Town Commons. Close to airport and restaurants and mall just a few miles away. The hotel was very busy and apparently ALWAYS rents it's first floor meeting room for church services and community groups. This means extremely noisy and busy on Ssturday and Sundays. My stay at the hotel was very comfortable. I felt safe and found the front desk personnel to be quite helpful and friendly. Tifany at the front desk was very helpful. It is nice to be greeted by a professional employee who cares about your well being.

My mother and I stayed overnight at this hotel because I had an interview the next morning at Brody School of Medicine. First - the hotel booked us in a handicapped room that didn't have an actual shower head and refused to move us to another room although the hotel was nearly empty. Second, the people staying in the room next to us was extremely loud […] and was constantly running in and out of their room until 3am. I complained to the front desk that night, but nothing was ever said to our "neighbors". Worst sleep I've ever had at a hotel, and I certainly don't recommend it if you need to get your rest there. This hotel was close to my daughters Cheer gym and really close to restaurants the local mall etc. Hotel itself is very nice looking and very clean inside and out. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated in a very nice small town of Greenville NC and affords a pleasant and affordable stay. Having a clean nice environment is so important when away from home. Wonderful and plentiful breakfast after a snuggly comfortable evenings rest. I highly recommend this hotel and chai.

I have stayed at the Microtel in Greenville, NC twice-once in December, 2011 and once in January, 2012. This is not a luxury hotel, nor is it meant to be. It is clean, convenient (very close to the hospital), and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast is a bonus. The staff was happy to fax some forms for me. I stayed at this very nice, new, and clean Microtel for two nights. The first night was wonderful. But as I was starting to work about 8 pm on the second night, some loud music began to intrude. It got worse and worse and worse. I went to the desk to find out about it and was told (and heard) that in a large room adjacent to the lobby (just under my […] 2nd floor room), an evangelical church service was being held. They had a "very loud" PA system with bass and rock-style music that played for long periods of time without a break. I was told it would be over at 9:00. It actually went on until 10:30 - 11:00 pm. Even during the sermon, every pause was punctuated with a loud drum roll. I complained after that at about 10:00 and was only told, "It a church service and it will be over soon." I hate to write this because I believe it was a failure of the management to control the renters of this service and to authorize the staff to tell them to stop. Still, I got very little sleep that night due to the fact that my floor and walls actually vibrated and buzzed. Lisez la suite

What a terrific value for the price. Great staff. Super clean. It's like a small european room. Just great value for the price.

The staff at the Microtel is so courteous, helpful, and friendly. I have stayed here twice in the last few weeks and both times I have been very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the great staff!

I have to agree with others who have posted reviews about this hotel. The staff and their customer service was the best I've seen. The front desk allowed me to check in early and bent over backwards to see that I was satisfied with the room. The walls are incredibly thin. I could hear everything that went on the the neighboring rooms. I could tell everyone's […] comings and goings. I found myself whispering on the phone as I thought if I could hear them, surely they could hear me! I would NOT recommend anyone to this hotel. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors. The sheets were dirty. I noticed small blood spots on my sheets and the bedskirts were dingy and looked as though the have not been washed in years. There were spider webs on the ceiling. Best bargain around. Clean, comfortable, safe room at an amazing rate. And free breakfast. Best of all for me was the location, about a block from the hospital! Thanks

The hotel is fairly new. The staff was nice. It was very clean and modern. I would stay there again.

The only thing i was disappointed in was the absence of a small coffee maker.

We chose this hotel because it was close to East Carolina University. It was very clean and comfortable, and the indoor pool and hot tub were nice and warm. The staff was also very friendly. Everything was great. We were close to our daughter and felt that it was a safe area. Hotel was clean and reasonable priced.

I enjoyed the stay...The bed was comfortable and the room overall was clean. I was looking for a fridge and ironing board with iron but nonetheless still satified with the room. I was not too fond of the home page that popped up everytime went to get online but overall the room was good for the price I paid. It was not bad at all.

Staff was nice, room was clean, bed was comfortable and location was great for my stay. However, walls were ridiculously thin. I could literally hear full conversations in the adjacent room. I was stunned to hear a child - not screaming, but in a normal tone talking to her parents, not to mention their own conversation(s). Very friendly and affordable place to stay when a family member is in Pitt Memorial Hospital. All necessities provided. I felt that I and my belongings were safe even with all my comings and goings. Very convenient location near the hospital. I am grateful for having had a roomer there this past week.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good - they even had a waffle maker!! I was greeted by a BIG bug in my room - but, I figure it's the south!! The dead bolt on my door did not work/line up - but the other one did - so that was ok. Upon check out, I reported this problem to the front desk. His response? -"Uhh, that needs fixed - that's near that […] back exit". Nice!! - since I'm female and traveling alone!!! Other people on here had reported that the hotel was hard to find - even with a GPS. I, too, following my GPS, found myself in the middle of nowhere - at 11:00 at night!! I drove back toward the main road and stopped in at another hotel. The clerk explained this this happens a lot. Apparently, at the last light, you should turn LEFT instead of RIGHT!!! Lisez la suite

Got a good rate. Everything was nice, beautiful room for a budget hotel. Continental breakfast was decent. The hotel was a little hard to find but once I was there, I was relaxed. The staff was friendly and welcoming too!

Our bathroom was dirty and the bedsheets were torn. We asked for a different room. It was not much better. I won't be staying here again. (and if you are wondering about the area, it is interesting that they will not post a review if it contains information about violent or criminal activity. . . . enough said)

I was very satisfied with the condition of the hotel and was particularly pleased with the staff. My only criticism is that I reserved a room with 2 Queen beds and was given a room with only one. I would absolutely stay here again

hotel was decent with a contemporary color design. customer service was accomodating. breakfast needs some work. surrounding area is developing. but i would definitely stay again.

It is in a very nice location Hospital, Dining and Shopping Less than a 2 to 3 minute drive away, The personel are very friendly and if not too busy with reservations and what not will strike up a nice home style conversation with you. Even after my 5 and 2 year old was making a ruckus they very politely check if all was ok and understood that kids […] will be kids. They stay was very nice, the locations was minutes away from anything and the room was very comfortable, all was missing was a pool.

I like this hotel, generally. Quality of service seems to be degrading. I checked in to find that the room had not been serviced before the 3 PM check-in time. To my surprise, during the servicing of the room, pillow cases were not changed although I was a new occupant of the room, the floor needed to be shampooed due to the number of excessively dirty […] spots, and the coverlet was not changed or freshened. The floor was vacuumed and sprayed with an air freshener. This hotel used to be a premium for the price but that is no longer the case. I knew that some hotels do not wash the glasses between occupants but I thought that linen was changed when a new occupant checked in. I can deal with not drinking out of the glasses but I paid to be able to sleep in a clean bed. Knowing that the linen is not changed at this hotel is disturbing on so many hygienic levels.
