BAD SMELL IN CORRIDOR, TRY TO COVER UP SMELL WITH SCENT BUT COULDN'T HIDE SMELL! THE ROOM WAS CHARMING IN APPEARANCE ! FLAT TV SCREEN ON THE WALL IN FRONT OF BED! A BIG BATHTUB BUT BATHROOM SMALL 2 PEOPLE CAN4T FIT IN! BED SHEET HAD 2 BIG SPOTS OF RED BLOOD OF COURSE FROM FEMININE MONTHLY'S DRIED UP AND THEY HAD DONE THE BEDS WITH IT THINKING WE WOULDN'T […] SEE!! BUT WE CALLED THEM AND RIGHT AWAY THEY HAD TO CHANGE ALL THE BED SHEETS!! NOW ANOTHER THING IS THE VIEW OUTSIDE THE WINDOWS NOT CLEAN, CIGARETTE BUTTS AND OTHER DIRTY THINGS! STAINS ON DESK MADE OF WOOD! AIR CONDITIONING GOES LOW 14° CENTIGRADE! FILTER HAS BAD SMELL AND NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP MORE OFTEN! THE ROOM IS BIG ENOUGH FAIR PRICE FOR IT!! NEXT TO ELEVATOR YOU CAN SMELL THE STINKY CORRIDOR OF THE SMOKING SECTION!! SCRATCHES, DENTS, PAINT MISSING HERE AND THERE!! SO ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A 4 STARS HOTEL, BUT THE LACK OF HYGIENE AND LACK OF CLEANING AND KEEPING THING IN TO GOOD CONDITIONS MAKES IT LOOK MORE LIKE A 3 STARS! A 4 STARS MUST BE FLAWLESS! This is my second time I stayed at Dusit Thani. I love staying at Dusit Thani because its clean, have excellent quality of service and close to everythng. I would recommend Dusit Thani to my family and friends.

The hotel was beautiful. Easily 5*. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. I would certainly reccommend staying at Dusit Thani.

Great hotel service and security are fantastic, food is great with multiple restuarants. You will feel very comfortable here on vacation or business. The staff was exceptional. Close to almost anything you would like to do or see. Highly recommended.....!

Thought we had a winner here when we entered the lobby, but the room we were were assigned was quite dated and a carpet that had seen its better days. what really turned us off was the blood remnants on one of the pillows, the floor and on the follicle of a long black hair that was left on one of the towels. They don't advertise the cost of local calls; […] trust me they are expensive. Nice Lobby, location and staff, but next time i will pay a little more and stay at the Intercontinental down the street. Dissapointing really, room lighting not good, staff at reception good, maybe a little officious. I was very dissapointed with the food. Breakfast buffet was not very good, and the same restaurant at night time the staff were VERY slack, I asked 3 rimes to place an order "A La carte" food was average really. The hotel is the center of commercial and good restaurants

Had billing problems which the staff apologized and claimed that it was the billing dep't. that made an error.

We stayed Dusit Manila for it's location and the price, overall it was a good stay and pleasant experienced except for the security paranoia (i think it's pretty common in Philippines nowadays). Room were spacious, clean, with heaps of complimentary stuff.... We went to have the buffet, not cheap but well worth it with variety of selection Indian, […] Japanese, Chinese, sea foods, etc... If you plan to shop don't book during Holy Thursday & Good Friday it's the most quite time in Makati and shops are closed. Lisez la suite

I always stay at this hotel when I am in Manila, which is 3-4 times a year. The staff is so friendly and remember me every time that I stay. I get a great rate and enjoy an incredible location.

Save your money and stay elsewhere. Charged me $7 for a bottle of water from the mini bar and then double billed me for it. No hairdryer in the bathroom and a 5 star hotel? Restaurant ridiculously overpriced. Not worth the money.

tHE DUSIT THANI HOTEL IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEAR ONE OF THE LARGEST SHOPPING CENTRES IN MANILA AND THE BUSINESS CENTRE. ITS COSTS ARE HIGH FOR THE AVERAGE HOLIDAYMAKER BUT IT OFFERS EXCELLENT AND COMFORTABLE FACILITIES AND FOOD OUTLETS. the hotel is in a good safe location with shopping mall,s very close and very good restaurants but the hotels restaurants are second to none, the food and service was very very good and a reasonable price

We stayed here at Honeymoon. Great Hotel!!! beautiful, wide,opened floor. Bed is very good. amenity is very good, bus-tab not large. fruit-service is very masarap(mango, apple, orange) we were gifted a wine of memorial. Hotel's location is very convenient if you are only interested in going around Makati area. The lobby is NICE with music entertainment in the evening. The buffet is fine and the price is not bad if you are taking advantage of their promo. The towels and the beddings are dingy looking- needs to be bleached. I think this hotel is very nice. Not the best 5* hotel in Manila, but probably the best when you count in value for money. My expreience is that this hotel is a bit cheaper than some of its 5* counterparts.

I have stayed at the hotel about 5 times now after staying at others. It is in a great loaction and great value for money for a 5 star hotel

The quality of service in this hotel is unmatched at any hotel I have ever visited. I arrived at 8.30 am, a very check in, but they had a room ready within 20 mins for me. The charge to print one page at the computor was about $ 1.25 US. Seems a bit high.

Very convenient, walked across street to the shopping center. The hotel has many choices of restaurants to choose, the complimentary BF was very good.

Absolutely disgusting and horrible experience. I waited so badly for this survey- I do not bother to fill forms like this but I have to now. I booked with Hotels.com for a non-smoking room, king size bed and that was confirmed. When we arrived at the reception, the receptionist was accomodating nicely a foreigner guest, when it was our turn, she was […] in a hurry to get us into that "non-smoking room", and a queen size bed because they do not have any other room available. Because we were tired flying that morning and were desperate to freshen up, we agreed to take that room. We went up to the room to find out an obviously smoking room but they insisted it was not. Sure enough, I develop nasal congestion from the smell and had to be transferred. I cannot believe to pay so much for a supposedly five star hotel! I will never bring my family and friends there! The location of the hotel is very convenient but the rooms are very old and outdated, and since the carpet is very old the whole room smells and it is dirty. A lot of female escorts esp on the weekends. Breakfast is not bad, won't recommend this hotel and definitely not coming back.

the hotels location was perfect for the things my wife and me want to do. the staff was courteous and the service was good. the room we stayed though was small for us we should have upgraded it. overall our stayed with dusit was pleasant.

Excellent hotel with great staff & amenties. Very conveniently located to shopping & major highway access, as well as Manila Airport.

I have stayed at the Dusit 4 times this year, they do not give you any priority for munlti stays, are brough along 4 friends in my last stays there, the rooms are very tired and when i emailed them they did not reply to all 6 messages, i did report this to them and they apologised, but did not give me any special treatment to make up for the inconvience […] or my many stays. very convenient hotel, staff very polite, desk staff just ok. This is a good hotel. One fault is lack of wine knowedge by lobby bar staff, and poor selection of house wines. Even with that, the price was high and the glasses were underpoured. If you enjoy good wines, this may not be the hotel for you. I even complained to a manager; his response was "sorry", and he walked on.

We had a wonderful stay at the Dusit Thani in Makati, Philippines. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is top rated. When you request for something, it is delivered in less than 5 minutes. Hotel is centrally located. Breakfast buffet is great. Will stay again in the future.

The hotel staff ware vary friendly and accomudating they will always try there best to help you and serve your all needs also the location of the hotel is vary good, the cost compared to the service is vary convenient for a 5 star hotel

This is a worn out hotel. The room ambience is mediocre, very old furniture, shower had little pressure and no wireless Internet in room, only cable that is chargeable at 675 Pesos per 24 hours. Small bathrooms with shower curtain/tub. Security seemed excessive, and be careful with metered taxis that the hotel calls for you or they won't turn on the meter and charge you double. Very nice hotel one of the best! The lobby is really big and comfy. The hotel staff is very friendly and nice. Rooms are good. I also went to have treatment in the spa, and that was expensive but very good. Gym is great as well as pool area.

Being welcomed to the hotel, your first interactions is with a number of security staff including sniffer dogs. This certainly helps put any such worries aside allowing you to more comfortably enjoy your stay (in the hotel at least). Entering the lobby, you are assailed by a wonderful floral aroma and the grandeur of Thai luxury. Check in staff are […] efficient and polite before being ushered to your room. The rooms are well appointed and clean, yet do show signs of age and wear, but is to be expected from a well occupied hotel. The bedding is somewhat firm for those more comfortable on a softer mattress. All usual facilities are present including a 24 hour fitness centre and day spa. The renovated pool area offers guests a relaxing area to cool off in the humid manila climate. Breakfast from the Basix buffet caters to all tastes from Japanese to full continental offerings. Be sure to arrive early to get the most enjoyment and table selection. Overall, the Dusit Thani Makati is a welcoming and well located hotel in the heart of Manila, close to luxury shopping, transport, airport and relatively removed from the common dangers of a large Asian city. This is a great hotel with very good service levels and attentive staff Big turn offs are the lack of steam room, sauna (unless you pay for a massage) and high priced interent for your room. Sometimes the hotel gets very busy with conferences which can take over the lobby area and make it less comfortable and enjoyable.....

This was the second stay at this property and it was better than the first. I thought the first stay was unbeatable. The hotel staff are amazing. Friendly, helpfull, and better than any other property that i have stayed in. It wasmy birthday andthey suprised me on the morning with a cake and a happy bithday song.
