En vue de la coupe du monde en 2014 et les jeux olympiques en 2016, l'hôtel est en rénovation dans les couloirs. quelques bruits de travaux en journée. Sinon, chambre avec climatiseur bruyant, toilettes vieilles, mais lit et propreté convenables. le petit-déjeuner est complet et copieux, mais on se lasse au bout de quelques jours. Sinon, personnel utile et agréables, parlant parfois français. La plage de copacabana est à 300 mètres. Le quartier est animé avec tout ce qu'il faut dans les environs (supermarché pao de azucar ouvert 24h, poste, bar, restaurants, marché le dimanche, magasins, taxis, etc.). je retournerai sans doute dans cet hôtel

Bien situé sur l'Avenida Atlantica Accueil et reception de bonne qualité Chambre viellote, récupérée par des panneaux muraux de mauvaise qualité, vieux marbres dans la salle de bains, La rénovation (récupération) de l'hôtel a porté sur la recèption au rez de chaussée seulement et pas sur les logements. Trop cher

Extrêmement agréable avec une situation superbe sur la plage d'Ipanema. Quel dommage que le personnel du petit déjeuner soit aussi peu sympathique et que les tables ne soient pas installées en terrasse souvent avant 10h alors que le petit déjeuner se termine à 10h30, avec une volonté manifeste de surtout ne pas se presser pour les installer !

Jadis banc de sable déserté, Barra da Tijuca est devenu l'un des quartiers en plus forte croissance de Rio. Une eau turquoise baigne la plus longue plage de Rio, qui couvre environ 18 kilomètres. La Barraca do Pepê (cabane de Pepê) est très appréciée des surfeurs. Barra da Tijuca dispose de quelques grands centres commerciaux, dont le New York City Center au thème américain, qui offre un morceau de la Grosse pomme (Big Apple) dans la cité des merveilles.

Clean hotel. Good service. Nice pool. Internet service was included in price, but unreliable. Reasonably priced.

Stayed again at the Paradiso, for the location not the Internet. Assume the Internet will not be working in the hotel if you stay here. Again this week the Internet was out about 40% of my stay, very-very slow (2 hours to retrieve one email) 40% of the time, and working only 20% of the time. Also check-out took 30 minutes Frday morning, since for eachguest […] they had to call housekeeping and have them go tothe vacanted room to verify the mini-bar from the final nights' stay. "Great Location & Staff, But no Internet/Hot Water"
Across the street from Citta America and Downtown shopping centers with lots of great resturants, most until 9 or 10 pm every night and a food court below the Cinemark movie Theater. Thje staff is friendly, multilingual, and helpful. They have recomended great tours forme and can arrange a taxi to Barra Shopping, the biggest mall in Rio. On the grounds […] they have a troupe of tamarin monkeys and I have seen a slough and capybara nearby. On the negative side, if you use a computer, you'll need the food court since it offers free Wi-Fi and the hotel's internet is the most inconsistant of ANY hotel I've ever stayed. Every other day the Internet is eithier completely down or running slow enough that it taks 30-60 seconds to display a single page (This includes the two PC "business center" that you pay by the minute to use). Depending on your room,the signal strength will vary onlygetting 5 bars in the hallways. The best signal comes in the resturant - if you have one at all. Also they ran out of hot water two morning out of the week I stayed. Both the hot water and Internet issues the staff seems to take in stride, as if they have had these problems forever and management had no plans to imrove eithier issue. Lisez la suite

Located just across the street from two major eating and shopping areas, including a movie theater. The staff was multi-lungual and very helpful. After they booked a tour for me (which ran over 2 hours due to traffic) the hotel staff gave me no problems with an extermly late checkout due to the long running tour. "Will stay there again"
The hotel is located in a nice middle class neighborhood with very nice beaches and restaurants within easy and safe walking distance. The Hard Rock Cafe across the street is only OK but there are 15-20 smaller places just to the left and we had several very nice meals there. The beach is close enough to walk to or a very low cost taxi ride and I thought […] it was actually nicer than the crowds at Copacabana. The normal rooms are pretty small but completely fine as we did not spend much time in there. The AC worked fine and quickly cooled the room to 17C. The restaurant at the hotel has a great buffet breakfast, an incredible buffet lunch or regular menu, and reasonable dinners and room service. One of the best restaurants in Rio is PorCau and it is just at the limits of walking although after eating a meal there you may want to get a cab back. The staff was very friendly and most spoke at least enough English to get by while several spoke very good English. Without a doubt, I would stay there again! Lisez la suite
"A mediocre hotel with unfriendly staff"
This hotel satisfied my basic needs. It was clean, had hot water and was in a safe neighborhood and across from a shopping area (a very expensive shopping area, meant for tourists). It is far from the main tourist attractions in Rio but luckily there is a nearby bus stop that can take you to Copacabana at least and not spend a fortune on taxis. My biggest […] problem with this hotel was the staff's lack of knowledge or concern to help guests staying at the hotel. First off, there was only 1 front desk receptionists available that knew English or Spanish. Now I did stay during new year's eve weekend so I understand they may have been short staffed. However, that front desk receptionist seemed to be downright annoyed that she had to be working that weekend. She told us nothing would be open as far as eating out at restaurants, trying to buy champagne at a liquor store or gas station because of the holidays. She couldn't tell us whether it was safe to use the city bus. We asked about a nearby rodizio that we saw and she said it would be closed, instead of calling the restaurant for us. She offered we could eat at McDonalds if we wanted or the hotel restaurant (which was expensive and not very good). Lo and behold, gas stations were open, they sold champagne, restaurants were open and the city bus was very clean and appeared safe and we used it a lot during our stay, no thanks to the receptionist. Our room forgot to be cleaned 2 days in a row and we had to be aggressive to get housekeeping done since they said it was "too late in the day for housekeeping." Well, when we left our room in the morning for sightseeing we assumed our room would be cleaned when we got back and that we wouldn't have to worry about asking for housekeeping at 6pm. The hot tub also appeared to not be working. The jets were on but the water was cold. The best thing about this hotel was the free breakfast buffet included. "Small rooms, but ok"
Good location for me doing business in Barra (it's a nightmare to get here from the city during rush hours). The room was very small but functional and clean. The complimentary Internet worked well. Very friendly staff, fluent in English (at least the reception staff). Restaurant is ok even though a bit boring. Breakfast also ok. "Promenade"
Realmente nossa estádia no PROMENADE,foi mto.gostosa meu marido e eu gostamos bastante. A piscina do hotel é bem bonita e o café da manhã bem gostoso e bem farto. A única coisa que no final ficámos um pouco chatiados é que qdo.chegamos a camareira ainda não havia arrumado o bar e a geladeira e qdo.o fez ficou faltando um pacote de amendoim.????...qdo.fomos […] acertar a conta e foram verificar nos perguntaram se haviamos consumido algo do frigo-bar dissemos que não! Nessa hora sentimos que o rapaz que nos atendia na recepção,nos olhou e falou,falta o amendoim e qdo.lhe explicamos que havia sido a camareira que esqueceu de colocar ele nos olhou e disse "ah,não faz mal essas coisas acontecem" de uma maneira um pouco ironica,jamais iriamos querer não pagar um saquinho de amendoim! Fiquei um pouco constrangida com a situação,pois havia mais pessoas na recepção.Tirando isso,realmente foi bem agradável e satisfatório.Se tiver que me hospedar com certeza voltariamos sim!!!! Bem recepcionado na portaria, porém, na hora de acertar as contas nela ficamos quase meia hora para isso, pois havia um único funcionário para fechar as contas de todo check out do dia 18/12...

Boa recepção, porém limpeza de baixa qualidade, havia tufos de cabelos no banheiro e quarto, além de travesseiros com cheiro de suor, cobre leito com mancha escurecida(sangue? chocolate?) , solicitei a camareira a troca do cobre leito com as fronhas e fui prontamente atendida.Corredores com cheiro de cigarro, e a pintura dos corredores descascando.Já […] o local do café da manhã, muito boa limpeza , assim como a qualidade dos produtos servidos, muito boa. Bom dia! Na realidade fiz o check in conforme previamente infornado no dia 21/mar/2011 (segunda-feira), porém o check out foi antecipado para o dia 24/mar/2011 (quarta-feira) devido imprevistos e necessidade da empresa. 1) No momento do Check out foi citada a hipótese de não haver a devolução do valor das diárias que não foram utilizadas por mim, ou […] seja, o check out era pra ocorrer no dia 26/mar/2011 e ocorreu conforme acima citado; 2) Falei com o gerente do hotel que mencionou que o mesmo efetua cobrança apenas das diarias utilizadas e não mais, ou seja, na quarta-feira foi cobrado meia (1/2) diaria devido o check out ter ocorrido as 15hs; 3) Me informem por favor sobre o item acima citado, a cobrança ou não das diarias que não foram utilizadas, pois tenho que passar uma posição para o setor financeiro da empresa. As instalações são ótimas, mas o quadro de funcionários necessita urgentemente fazer uma reciclagem, a fim de melhorar a prestação dos serviços. Funcioários pouco ateciosos com os hospedes. Alguns não dão nem bom dia!!!!

Detta är ett rikgigt bra 3-stjärning hotell med anstndiga priser tom under nyår i Rio. Ca 15 min med buss till Ipanema (ca 3 Real) eller taxi (30-50).

O hotel é muito bom. Só fiquei indignada ao pedir um taxi na noite do reveillon e ser informada pelo recepcionista que só havia uma opção de taxi por 130,00. Opção esta contra a lei por não usar o taxímetro. Acabei chamando um táxi de minha confiança que cobrou o preço correto e justo. O Promenade Paradiso oferece hospedagem em ótima localização próxima aos principais shoppings e restarurantes a preços razoáveis. Serviço de ótima qualidade com funcionários muito simpáticos e receptivos. Serviço de garagem e valet pago a parte.

"Boa Hospedagem"
Hotel bom já havia ficado outra vez lá em 2008 e é uma boa sugestão de hospedagem no Rio a custo muito bom. Por outro lado só ficou um pouco a desejar o conforto do quarto, banheiro e o restaurante ser + caprichado em relação ao cardápio. O café da manhã é ótimo e bem servido. Tirando estes itens minimos citados, é um ótimo Hotel para descansar!!
