Ce qui s'est avéré plutôt agréable. Rien à redire sur la propreté des chambres ou de la salle de bain. Le petit-déjeuner aussi était très bien. Le seul éventuel bémol sont les travaux actuels à proximité de l'hôtel qui n'offrent pas franchement un cadre enchanteur...

Bright and large rooms, all comfort, very pleasant people working there. The breakfast is awesome (try pancakes - it's the chief's specialty). Anyway, you have a personalized attention, very good advice about restaurants and places to visit. All around the hotel - excellent restaurants and pubs, so we advise it, don't look for another hotel - this one is a very Prague spirit one!

Construite en 1348 par Charles IV et étendue au cours du XIXe siècle, la Nouvelle Ville accueillait à l'origine les artisans et les commerçants de Prague. "4 jours à Prague"
Cet hôtel est parfait pour un jeune couple qui, financièrement, ne peuvent pas se payer un hôtel 5*. Nous avons passés 4 nuits dans cet hôtel et nous avons été ravis ! L'hôtel est situé à côté de 2 bouches de métros et de plusieurs lignes de tramway (dont la ligne 22 qui va direct au chateau de Prague). L'hotel est situé à 10 minutes à pied de la place […] Vencelas, 20 minutes du centre ville. Personnellement nous avons passés 4 jours à marcher, juste l'aller pour le chateau que nous avons fait en tramway. Sinon l'hotel en soit en vraiment bien, seul bémol : la salle de bain. Nous sommes tombé sur une baignoire ou l'eau croupissait quand on se lavait, mauvaise évacuation. Mais sinon, le lit est très confortable. Nous avons eu vu sur la cours donc très agréable. Le service petit déjeuner est très bien également, thé/café/lait et pain de toute sorte, avec nutella et compagnie. Le personnel est très sympa (parle en anglais). Tyl is not in the historical Old Town, but the location, in many ways is much better. Hotel is well kept, clean. Breakfast is adequate. Reasonably priced restaurants in the neighborhood with many of the same menu items and English-speaking staff mean you get more for less here. There's a pharmacy and drug store, convenience stores, 2 Metro 4 tram and […] 2 night trams within visual of the front door. Recommended if you intend to take advantage of Prague's excellent public transport to maximize the ground you can cover. It was a nice average hotel, the room was big, the beds (single) were small. Stayed 5 nights bedding wasn't changed (don't know if that's usual for 4*?), only 1 pillow asked in the evening for another but couldn't get me one until following day. Hotel staff were helpful & pleasant. 20 min walk to Wencleslas Square all down hill, uphill all the way back! It is located very close to the metro station and tram and bus stops and it's very convenient to get to the city center or Praha Castle. Also it was very quiet at night. I was given a triple room for just myself; it was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good; nothing special but adequate. "Lovely Hotel in a Lovely City"
This was a lovely hotel in a good location near to good restaurants (particularly Matylda). The No.22 Tram was just around the corner - this will take you to the castle and near to the Charles Bridge on the other side of the River. However it is only about half an hours walk to the old town via Wenceslas Square. Theer is also a Metro stop close by. The […] rooms were very spacious and clean, we had a lovely room overlooking the Market area. The breakfast was served in a very pleasant dining room and the choices were very good - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, hot dogs, cold meats, cheese, Pate, jams, honey and a very nice selection of bread. The hotel had a pleasant laid back feel and the staff were very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. When we return to Prague we will be staying here again as we loved it. Very good location in a small square, about 5-10 min walk to Wenceslas Square and from there it's not much further to the old town and across to the river. The tram stop and the underground are just around the corner from the hotel but we spent two days in Prague and just walked everywhere as all the main sights are centrally located. Our twin room […] was a decent size and in good condition and had a good sized bathroom. Room had aircon though you have to ask reception to turn it on but after that they leave it on. The hotel had very pleasant and knowledgeable staff who were happy to help. It was well placed for tram and metro and yet in a relaxed area. The breakfast was fine and the only complaint that we could make was that they cleaners kept replacing the towels(every day)which we felt was unnecessary!! Originally got a double room, not the twin we thought we had booked, but reception found us a twin room within an hour. Really liked the hotel and the staff. Reception particularly friendly and helpful. xbut the usual problem of choice between noise of trams with windows open and air-conditioning. Perhaps the back of the hotel would have been better. THEY HAVE A GREAT STAFF. ELENA WAS GREAT! SHE HELPED US WITH A TOUR CALLING SEVERAL TOURS SO IT WORKED WITH OUR PLANS. SHE ALWAYS GREETED US AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD. WE DID NOT GET THE NAMES OF THE OTHER FRONT DESK STAFF BUT THEY WERE ALL FRIENDLY GREETED YOU EVERYTIME YOU CAME IN THE LOBBY AND WERE HELPFUL IN ANYTHING WE ASKED ABOUT. THE […] BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND THE LADIES IN THE BREAKFASTROOM WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND GREETED YOU EVERY MORNING. OLD TOWN, THE BRIDGE, THE CASTLE, ALL ARE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE IF YOU LIKE TO WALK OR BUY A DAY PASS FOR TRAM (ALMOST OUTSIDE DOOR), METRO(BLOCK AWAY) OR BUS. YOU CAN HOP ON AND OFF ALL THREE FOR 24 HOURS FOR 110CZK. THE ROOM WE HAD WAS LARGE AND VERY CLEAN. LOCATION FOR US WAS GREAT AND THE HOTEL WAS GREAT. "pros and cons"
Nothing special (i.e. in terms of room size, the accomodation generally), but has friendly, helpful staff and a nice breakfast buffet is also included. They had a crib for our 2 yr old. It's also near a very convenient French bakery (open long hours), only 1.5 blocks from a metro, .5 blocks to several tram stops and only 2 stops away from the Prague […] train station . "Very good value for money!"
Was looking for a hotel in that area and was surprised to find this one for the money they were asking. Nice rooms, ok breakfast buffé and a small gym with jacussi included in the price! Just 15-20 min walk from the center of old town. The wifi was working really well, also included! Would def. stay here again!Avis véridique Expedia

"Hotel Tyl"
This was a perfect hotel for us. It is close to the main train station and the metro. But beyond that the staff is so congenial - and that means all of the reception and the breakfast staff. The hotel is old but in good repair and I do not have a single negative comment to make. Have already recommended it to a friend.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Nice hotel but not centrally located"
We liked the hotel but it is a little far away from the majority of tourists sites. It is however very close to a subway stop, tram stop, and of the gay bars in Prague. Good if you don't want to be in the thick of things.Avis véridique Hotels.com

"Prague cheap but 4 Star Gem"
5 minute walk from Wenceslas square at about a third of the price. Very clean, good size rooms whihc have just been smartened up. Floors are all solid, so no hearing the people above you. Location is excellent, trams and metro within a stone throw but you do not hear them. Excellent hotel. No steep stairs, but a lift to take you to your room Claims […] to only have wifi in lobby, but I received in on he 1st floor rooms. My top tip, instead of going left out of hotel to touristy bits, go right a few blocks and try some of the local bars there. Beer is less than a pound a pint (just) and food is good value also. Have been to this hotel 3 times now and would not go anyway else (unless they raised thier prices that is - cannot recommend enough Lisez la suiteAvis véridique Expedia
