The room was neat and tidy with everything you need but the only thing I can pick at is the shower. It looked as though the shower recess had not been cleaned since the hotel was first built. The language barrier was a little difficult, I'm sure the service would have been superb if the staff could understand what we were saying but of the 3 staff members […] that did speak English they were beyond helpful and very lovely. There are plenty of places in Phuket to stay that are affordable and nice but the Patong Grand Ville is not one of them. We thought the photos on hotels.com looked amazing and thought this was a great deal but it was a sham. There was several little things that doesn't really matter but the main complaints was the black mold in the shower and the loud […] rattling, spitting noise the air conditioner made once it had been left on more then a few minutes making for a really crappy nights rest. Turning it on, then having to turn it off, getting too hot and turning it on then the loud ruckus waking us up and having to turn it off. repeat every 15 minutes. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The room was cleaned and made up every day with clean towels every day. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. Communication was somewhat difficult. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit out of the way - taxi drivers didn't even know where it was! There is also no spa! They can call someone to come to the poolside […] for massage if you wish but that is all. Parts of the hotel are not in use and have just been abandoned and boarded up. Pulling into Patong Grand Ville, I knew my girlfriend and I were in for a relaxing stay. The hotel had maybe 5 or 6 other guest so it was like we had the hotel to ourselves. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect.For the price YOU CANNOT beat this hotel.

This is a great place to stay. Very picturesque. Great value for money. Nice pool/jacuzzi with a pool bar. Very friendly staff. The only downside (which isnt anything major) is that it is a bit of a walk from the busy part of town, but we walked it every night none the less.

Arrived onsite to hotel mid-day, staff was very nice and helped me with everything I needed. Rooms were clean and in order. I ordered room service a few time's which was excellent and delivered within 15 minutes. The location of the hotel is great for getting away from the noisey Bangla night street's, plus it's a short walk or drive to anything you […] could imagine. Patong beach was my beach of choice. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, it has great view's of mountains and beach's, plus there are elephant rides available just up the road, walking distance from your room. I spent 8 nights and my room didn't have a bath but a shower that was good. I enjoyed the setting and the breakfast and that it was in a quiet lush location away from the busy beach activities and only a short trip to the beach. Everything advertised was readily available. Best of all for me ( as a lone traveler) was the fact that no one pressed me to engage in activities or excursions in which I had no interest; I was allowed to relax precisely as I wished. Others might desire staff to point out information brochures in case they are interested. However, I was not and, so, […] I was very content with a most relaxing holiday. The staff obviously speak Thai but enough of them also speak some English ( and, I daresay, some Continental languages) so that with goodwill on both sides, communication is effective. Helpful and attentive, all of the staff contributed to my enjoyable stay whether I wanted to use facilities within or without the hotel because of their professional, amenable manner. At the time of my visit it was quiet but well within easy distance of nightlife if desired. I desired no night life but it was agreeable to know that it was available for those who did want it. The Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous throughout our stay. Setting up trips for Nine-Temples and Phi-Phi Island driving was easy and reasonably priced. Jeg havde besluttet 14 dage på dette hotel, men lavede det senere om til longterm ophold. Hotellet er utrolig hyggeligt, og personalet er så behagelige og hjælpsomme . Der er shuttlebus 4 gange om dagen ned til byen eller stranden. Hotellets personale er behjælpelig med hvad som helst.selv specielle ønsker opfyldes.

Jeg kan slet ikke forstå dette hotel er så dyrt, det er overhovdet ikke pengene værd! Jeg var meget skuffet. Det ligger et stykke væk fra byen men op til en stor hovedvej som larmer meget! Ydermere da jeg står i brusebadet, løvrigt at brusehovedet ikke virker, kravler der 2 store kakelakker rundt og op ad benene. Ligger ud til meget traffikeret vej, ca 30-40 mtr. Hyggelig pool dog ikke afslappende pga meget og støjende trafik samt larmende popmusik dagen lang. Til tider også larm fra personalets skrattende wt. Blev ved ankomst anvist et værelse - hvilket jeg kasserede pga defekt safetyboks og defekt låseanordning ved skydedøre. blev så anvist værelse no 2 som […] havde de samme problemer. Ventede så 2 timer på det tredie værelse idet nogen skulle fraflytte. i mellemtiden var låsen så blevet repareret i værelse no 2 - så videre beklagelser blev opgivet ! Vask i baderum var helt stoppet - blev repareret dagen efter. Problemer med aflåsning af skydedøre var et tilbagevendende problem flere steder, personalet brugte en del tid på dette. En svag låseanordning med en nøgle på størelse med en fra en cykellås - den ekstra lås på døren var ikke i brug, døren kunne åbnes af person med fingerkræfter - hvilket også var sket i de 2 værelser jeg fik anvist. Positive ting : velfungerende aircondition samt rart og venligt personale som overalt i Thailand. Ligger ikke særligt centralt, dog med gratis shuttle transport på særlige tidspunkter. Kan desværre ikke anbefale dette hotel mest pga manglende sikkerhed ved aflåsning af døre og den enorme trafiklarm. Lisez la suite

Hotellet er et lille paradis og ligger lige uden for Phuket. Men hotellet bære præg af ikke at være vedligeholdt. Strømmen går ud. Vandet bryder sammen Osv. Personalet er rigtig søde og gør hvad de formår. Maden er god men, alt for tit er der ikke det der står på menu kortet og ham som stod for serveringen vidst intet og forstod intet af hvad han lavede, […] da han egentlig var teknikker og ingen kundskaber havde for at severe og ikke forstod andet end Thai sprog. The hotel was nice, friendly staff, the pool area was cozy. this hotel is 10-15 minutes walking outside the shoppingstreet/beach but they have free shuttle buses. This was a great location to stay a couple of nights before we moved on to phi phi island. I can recommend the hotel, but not the beach. Hotelli sijaitsi kaukana keskustasta, joka oli hyvä asia. Patong oli niin täynnä turismia, melua ja missään ei saanut kulkea rauhassa. Ranta oli kuin kauheimmat välimeren turisti rysät. Hotellin sijainti oli siis täydellinen kunhan vuokrasi skootterin, aamulla Karon beachille n. 3km joka oli rauhallinen ja puhdas ranta, iltaisin patongin vilinään ostoksille […] ja syömään. Vi har været meget, meget tilfredse med vores hotelvalg. Det ligger ca. 2 km fra den pulserende by og stranden, men der er gratis shuttle bus 3 gange dagligt og ellers er det billigt med tuk-tuk. Meget fint hotel, stille og roligt med en fantastisk service. Vi har haft et upåklageligt ophold og kan kun anbefale dette hotel. Utroligt hvad man kan få […] for små penge.
