super hotel , nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit a cet hotel , mais par rapport aux prix pretiqué sur la cote c'etait un super rapport qualite prix ,

pacific grove est vraiment un lieu privilégié et cet hotel particulierement bien situé, permet d'en profiter au mieux. on peut aller à la plage à pieds découvrir une trés belle côte, des biches traversent la rue, le petit dejeuner est correct, la propreté, l'accueil tout autant.

Hôtel agréable , très bon petit déjeuner , le jacuzzi est appréciable après une journée de marche , grande chambre avec une petite pièce séparée , grande salle de bain , peut-être un peu loin de la plage mais faisable à pieds .

Hotel d'un très bon rapport qualité prix, très confortable, très propre, petit-déjeuner buffet assez varié dans lequel nous venons pour le travail régulièrement.
Situation
Près de la plage de Santa Cruz, l'établissement Lanai Lodge se trouve tout près des sites suivants : Main Beach, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk et Santa Cruz Surfing Museum. Les sites Cocoanut Grove et Pacific Garden Mall se trouvent également à proximité.
Caractéristiques de l'établissement
Un petit déjeuner gratuit est proposé. L'établissement Lanai Lodge inclut une piscine extérieure en saison. L'accès à Internet haut débit par Wi-Fi est gratuit dans les espaces communs. Le parking de l'établissement est gratuit.

"unhappy visitor"
the hotel room was unsafe for our 2 year old grandaughter. There was no lock on the front door to prevent her from going out and the sliding glass door lock was broken, we were on the 2nd floor with a balcony. so needless to say no one slept that night. Every light switch in the "suite" was sticky with filth, some light fixtures had on covers on them,one […] of the stove burners was missing, the carpet was black from never being cleaned,after walking on the carpet for about a 1/2 hour my grandchild"s feet were black, there was a piece of used dental floss stuck on the shower wall from previous guests. I would never recommend this hotel in fact I have told everyone about our visit and would never want anyone else to stay here. We checked out 2 days earlier than planned and found wonderfully clean lodging somewhere else and enjoyed Santa Cruz . Lisez la suite
"The Hotel in Santa Cruz.. not what you think."
Location not bad but, hotel room and staff need big improvement. Hotel bed was not comfortable and hotel floor looked as good as the ground outside. Heater in hotel room was broken first night. It was dreadful. The owner's appeared annoyed when we had a question. The breakfast was not set up and when I asked, she tossed some wrapped danishes and told me to get the juice from a jug in the fridge. I will not stay again
"Great location"
this hotel is located right in the middle of everything when it comes to the beach/boardwalk area. The view from the balcony was wonderful, and it was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Will stay again.
"Excellent Location for the Price"
The Hotel was in the perfect spot, about 1.5 blocks from the Santa Cruz Wharf and the Boardwalk. "U get what u pay for"
This is an inexpensive hotel, so dont get mad when it doesnt have the luxuries of high end hotels. This is a good place to stay with a great location by the wharf and boardwalk. It has the essentials, beds shower, clean towels, and tv. If your used to being pampered then this isnt the place for you. This motel was the worst example of comfort and sound. There is no reason for a motel to put children on the second floor to stomp around and keep you up at night. The outside noise was not acceptable either. i would not recomend this motel for anyone who wishes peace and quiet at anytime during the day or night.

The front desk is closed after 10 p.m. So if you are late to check in, good luck!! If you only need a safe place to sleep and take a shower in the morning, it's OK but dont expect anything else. "THIS HOTEL HAS NO TWO BEDROOM SUITES"
dont be fooled by the advertisement of two bedroom, there are no two bedroom, just two beds and a couch with a kitchen, and the couch is stained and cigarette burn holes, it wasnt bad for a quick over night stay, but the stains on the carpet and couch were disgusting to look at, dont ever put a kid on the floor to sleep. Ive stayed in santa cruz many […] time, and I would say that all of the hotels are old and grudgy, if you are looking for a cheap hotel, just be ready for a gross room, I brought my own sheets and blankets, much better. "Better than I expected and great location!"
I was a little wary after reading various reviews so packed prepared with my own sheets, towels, and kitchen supplies for our family unit. But ended up not using any linens. But the pot came in handy as the kitchen had just the stove, fridge, and microwave and sink. The front desk couldn't have been more polite or friendly. The location was WONDERFUL! Close to the beach so no car ride in wet clothes after an afternoon of surfing and no need to pay Boardwalk parking as we just left our car at the hotel and walked. "Motel in Santa Cruz"
As we all should read previous reviews and one would have known why this motel was so reasonable, it was just to sleep and get out as the room was not in very good shape and the water kept running all night in the bathroom, Carpet was so dirty that when you walked on it and went into the tub your feet were black due to lack of carpet cleaning (already […] all stained up). "Great location"
Not the Hilton, but a great location to the beach and boardwalk. Have been staying here for many years and always return. The rooms are clean but could use some sprucing up and remodeling...carpet and paint would be wonderful. Great location and the staff is very helpful.

"Not as shabby as the rest!"
For a budget hotel with family rooms and full kitchens you can't get a better deal so close to the wharf and boardwalk! They have comfy plush materesses and towels are plush too! The family that runs the hotel are very nice and accomodating. "Lanai Lodge - a ZERO in customer service"
My friends and I are all from the Bay Area, but we decided to stay in SC for a night because we were in a wedding in Aptos. Check-in is listed as 3 pm, when the wedding activities were due to begin, so I called Lanai Lodge to find out if we could check in after the wedding around 11pm-12am, because we all had hair appointments or were commuting beforehand. The […] man on the phone told me check-in ended at 10 pm and we couldn't check in any later because he didn't want to pay anyone overtime. He then said they are a budget hotel with the cheapest prices, so this is how it is. I tried to arrange another way to get the key so that no one would have to stay over, and he wouldn't let me. I also tried to have my friend check in for us, but because I made the reservation, he said he needed my driver's license and he wouldn't allow anyone else to check in for us. He told us to consult hotels.com if we wanted a refund, but he wasn't going to do anything about it. Needless to say, I ended up driving to SC in my bridesmaid dress and hair barely done to check in, and arrived at my friend's wedding minutes before it started. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUDGET HOTEL. "close to boardwalk"
I went with my wife an 3 yo son to see the beach and the boardwalk. The Hotel was what I had hoped for, affordable and very close to the boardwalk and the pier. Had a great time, very comfortable room and hotel.

I guess I just get lucky and always end up in the seedier hotels when I go to Santa cruz. Seriously.. it was ok tho. Not someplace I'd stay twice but it was clean and the location was good. "Room Stunk"
Opened the door of a non smoking room and the smell was horable. Opened the pation door and left it open while we went to boardwalk about 6 hours the smell never left. Bathroom fan baroon was going out very nosie could not turn the light on it was so load. People above us keep us awake most of the night (moving furniture?) and I wear double hearing […] aids--the noise had to of been load for me to hear it. "Lanai"
Management was very nice. Close to activities. Unfortunaley the room was very run down and surrounding guests stayed up all night partying. When I tried to call the front desk, I only got a busy signal. If you want to party all night or be kept awake-this is an ok place to stay. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.
I rented the room thinking it was a two bedroom suite with a flat screen TV. We get to the hotel at 9;30 pm to find out The suite was a room with two beds and a hide a bed. no flat screen TV.and they watch every move you make. I paid extra money for a suite not just a room. "Lanai Lodge Santa Cruz Ca"
Rooms are shabby and rundwon. Frist room TV did not work. Finally convinced manager to come look and he moved us to other room. Old wall gas heaters and carpets stained. Linens old. We have stayed here for over 20 years but not for 3 years past. Needs an update. Used to be run by EconoLodge. Tired, shabby. Prices cheap, but now we know why.
"Good for the price"
We had a kitchen which was cool but there are no pans and we didn't pack any so the kitchen was practically useless. Big room with seperate space for the kids. Couldn't use the pool, closed for the season. They should've told us that.

"Do not stay at this DUMP!"
This not a hotel. Rather, it is a DUMP! Dirty, smelly, and moldy! DO NOT stay here! Service? What service? The front office didn't even have any hot water! It looks likes the flat surfaces in the room have been cleaned last century. Everything is dusty and sticky. Carpet is all stained and also older than my grandmother. The only thing it has going for it is the fact that it is two blocks from the wharf entrance and main drive and beach. It was unsafe for young kids as the doors had no latches to keep little ones from opening them wide and wandering. Your feet are blackened from the grime on the floor so wear shoes at all times. Its the worst hotel I have stayed in […] except for the one made of plywood in a awarehouse in northern Malaysia, but at least that only cost $10. This place is deserving of charging $15. "Kind of pricey but great entertainment"
The hotel was kind of pricey but we loved the seperate room for the kids and was nice to have a kitchen!! We really enjoyed the entertainment from the locals on the streets off of our balcony until late in the night! Walking distance from the boardwalk and the beach....we will definitely be back!

"Bad Customer Service"
When i went to the office to ask for (TP) they got mad because we didnt have the maid clean our room and have her take care of it. Like we were putting them out by going in and asking for more.
