Hotel Cosimo De' Medici - Florence

Séjour trés agréable dans cet hôtel trés bien placé, à 200 m de la gare et 10 mn à pied du centre ville Personnel trés professionnel, francophone. Chambre confortable, mais chauffage insuffisant et bruit étrange provenant d'une trappe au plafond... Trés bonne isolation phonique. Hôtel à recommander.

Hôtel bien situé (près de la gare, et bon point de départ pour visiter Florence à pied), avec parking privé dans la cour intérieure (peu onéreux au vu des prix pratiqués dans les autres hôtels). Nous avions envoyé un mail demandant une chambre "moderne" plutôt qu'une classique, ils ont eu la gentillesse d'en tenir compte. Le personnel est serviable […] et agréable. The hotel is located near the railway station and walkable distance to Florence attractions - the Duomo, Uffizi etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff never fails to greet you each time you pass the lobby. Close to the train station. Attractions in Florence within walking distance. Only problem - had difficulty spotting the entrance of the hotel as it was in a narrow alley leading to the carpark.

My husband and I are were passing through Florence for one night and it was perfect. Very clean...nice staff. I would definitely stay there again.

No frills, modest hotel that is convenient to railway station. Hard to find initially as the street numbers go up one side and then down the other. It is actually located in a laneway. A basic breakfast was included.

My stay at this hotel was outstanding. All the personnel were courteous and outgoing. They were extremely helpful and conscious of their guests' comfort. The hotel is wonderfully located close to the main Rail Station and is within walking distance to many of the tourist attractions. The continental breakfast , though a bit limited, was nevertheless […] a good bargain and the internet services were free - which is something that I've found many smaller hotels try and charge for. Great location close to Santa Maria Novella train station. Very clean room on the 2nd floor (in the US this would be called the 3rd floor), however bed was somewhat lumpy. Great breakfast - scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, ham, cheese, 3 cereals, pastries, yogurt, milk, fruit and more - very attentive staff - made sure your coffee cup was always full. […] No elevator to the second floor - that's the stairs that I fell down. The stairs were not adequately lit and had narrow spiral steps interspersed with straight steps. I missed a spiral step and fell, sprained my ankle pretty badly. Another hotel guest fell in the same spot the day before I fell so it wasn't just me. Bathroom was clean and plenty of room. Lots of street noise if window was open. Air conditioner fan drowned out the street noise if window was closed. Never noticed any noise from other hotel guests. Service was good, staff was very responsive if we needed anything. Everything was good....greta location, close to most everything. Staff was very helpful and smiling.

Stayed there for 2 nights, the hotel is actually quite nice located on first and second floor of a old building, but the room allocated was facing inside with no sun lights and the hotel was fully booked so that was the main downside. Otherwise the location is good, walkable distance from most sights, bath room was small like most other hotels in Europe […] but room is quite large. Hotel staff was very nice and fluent in English. Overall good experience, however, biggest annoyance was the staff chatter during breakfast. When booking we were a bit concerned about proximity to train station which turned out to be a non issue. Although the hotel is very central to the station,it takes a bit of following clues to find it. But once you have it,its so easy you laugh at your effort to find it! First of all, I rated 5 for hotel service because I left my cell phone in my room when I checked out and one of the day receptionist, Stefano, found me at the train station and returned me the phone. This hotel, like many budget hotels in Italy is located in a residential building with many other budget hotels. Elevators were added after the building was built and in this case the guest elevator only goes up one floor. However hotel staff can move your luggage using a freight elevator. My husband I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Cosimo De'Medici in Florence on the 2nd April, and have had a wonderful time. The Hotel was conveniently located to the train and bus terminal, just a five minute walk away, which is what you want when arriving at 10.30 pm. It was perfectly located to all the fantastic sights, so we were able […] to cover the enitre City on foot. The staff could not do enough for us and were extremely knowledgable and polite. Breakfast was also very good, continental, but then you are in Italy. There was also free coffee and tea available night and day, which was a bonus. The hotel itself was great, our room, we thought, was nicely decorated and very comfortable and was more than adequate for our needs and great value for money. We will definitely be visiting Florence again, as we thought it was up there in our top 3 favourite cities, and as long as you like history and culture, you will not be disappointed. Hotel Cosimo de' Medici is an affordable, clean, convenient and friendly place to stay in Florence. I would heartily recommend it. Our room was sicmple but clean and well appointed, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, the location was simple to find and very conveniently located, there are numerous restaurants, cafe's and shops nearby and […] the San Maria Novella Station is less than 2-blocks away (you can literally see it from the station). They offer a fairly well-appointed continental breakfast in the mornings. The staff all spoke English quite well (and most spoke other languages in addition to Italian)and were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We booked a room at this hotel because of its proximity to the train station, as we were only going to be in Florence one night, and guest's reviews on a couple of different websites. We weren't disappointed. Check-in was pleasant and easy, the concierge booked us tickets at the Uffizi Museum and gave us excellent directions/instructions to get there. We found it impossible to decipher the bus routes, but were assured it was a short walk to the old city, so just walked to the museum. It was only about a 10-minute walk and we enjoyed seeing the sites along the way. The Piazza di San Giovanni and the Duomo and many other sites were even closer. The personnel at the hotel are excellent, and extremely helpful. They were even willing to make reservations at the Uffizi for us, which was quite a help. This is a small and very personable hotel with only two floors. The internet was free, and served us well for finding information during our trip. The location of the hotel is right near the train […] station, and would be ideal for travelers coming in by train. I would suggest however that you look up the exact location of the hotel on a map prior to your visit because it's hidden in a little alcove off the street. If your after location then this is the place to be.Really all you need is a bed and bathroom for short stays and this provides this in such close proximity to the station and most popular tourist destinations. Would recommend.

Hotel was pretty decent, the room was a bit small, smallest actually of the six hotels I stayed in through out this entire trip for around the same price, but it was comfortable. Nice location, near the train station and you can walk to major attractions. Overall, the hotel was okay.

2012年2月3日から4泊しました。夜10時過ぎにタクシーを利用して到着したのですが、ホテルの場所が分かりづらく、タクシーに余計に走ってもらう羽目になりました。大通りに面しているのですが、入口が建物の中庭にある駐車場の入口を兼ねているため、アーチ型の入口があるだけのようにに見えます。 それ以外は、ホテルスタッフは英語ができ、対応も親切でした。私はスペイン語を少し話すので、スペイン語ができるか聞いたところ、｢少し｣といいながらも一生懸命対応してくれました。 このホテルはエレベーターがあるので荷物の移動に苦労せずにすみました。 部屋はシャワーのみのシングルなので小さかった(狭かった)のですが、室内の雰囲気は温かで、実際に空調もよく聞いていました。イタリアが寒波に見舞われた時期だっただけにありがた […] かったです。 シャワーは固定式でしたが、お湯はよく出ました。 朝食はパンとコーヒーに薄く切ったハムとチーズなので、しっかり食べたい方は朝食をつけずに外で食べたほうがいいと思います。ほかにはシリアルやヨーグルトがありました。 Lisez la suite

ホテルはフィレンツエＳＭＮよりとても近く便利な場所にあるので鉄道でのアクセスには便利。環境は入り口が通りに対して門を入った右側に玄関があるので防犯という面でもよいと思う。受付は1人なので忙しい場合にはかなり待たなくてはならない。部屋は食堂を抜けなくてはならなかったので食事中の人がいる場合には迷惑。またベッドの足がきしむ音がする、洗面所が狭いのでものが置けない、シャワーが上のほうについており取り外しできないなどの不便な点はある。お湯の出や冷房はよい。朝食は7時半からだが少しでも早く行くと準備ができていない。また食事の種類は少なめである。構造上、万が一火事などの場合には逃げるのが不安です。また、部屋の大きな窓が古いためきちんと施錠できませんでした。

Отличный отель . Когда мы приехали ранним утром . то нужно было ждать , чтобы освободился предназначенный нам номер. Администратор нашел выход и через полчаса мы уже могли поселиться. Отличные завтраки, и очень предупредительный персонал. Рекомендую

Muito bem localizado para quem viaja de trem e ônibus, logo ao lado da estação. Excelente serviço, pessoal da recepção muito atencioso. Na primeira noite me deram um quarto muito pequeno, mas no dia seguinte reclamei e me mudaram para um quarto excelente, com varanda, espaçoso. Excelente localização, a pouquíssimos passos da estação Ferroviária. Hotel pequeno, tímido, com serviço razoável. O hotel Cosimo de Medici é uma boa alternativa para quem busca acomodação em Florença. Bem localizado - próximo de todos pontos turísticos e muito perto da estação de trem é um hotel com infraestrutura mediana - o que atende as expectativas de viajantes de poucos dias que querem um local para descansar, apenas. Alguns quartos são melhores (e tb maiores) […] que outros, a cama não é boa (as molas do colchão machucam), mas a limpeza, o café da manhã e o atendimento são bons. 5 min. walk from railway station but not easy to find it because the entrance is not on the road. Já tinha lido muitas recomendações sobre este hotel, mas ele conseguiu ser melhor do que eu esperava. Principalmente pelo ótimo custo/benefício. Til prisen er hotellet rigtigt godt. Vi fik endda en lille balkon ud mod en rolig gård. Selve værelsets udseende var lidt mystisk med to senge i forlængelse af hinanden. I den ene seng kunne man kun ligge ned, da en smal hylde gjorde det umuligt at sidde op.Den kunne med fordel fjernes.
