The room is dirty...hair in the bathroom floor and toilet. Trash on the carpet. Location is poor in the ghetto. was moved to another room that was as dirty as the first one. No phones in the room,no in the bathroom. Will never stay here.

This hotel was close to Houston St to walk to the Alamo. Parking is a rip since your paying $15 plus tax to park each day under the interstate. I guess you could say that's covered parking if you want to. But other than that, its within a easy 5 min walk to the Alamo. The room was clean and the hotel staff were nice. The free breakfast was ok. Nothing […] to brag about. The pool was kinda small. There was also a hot tub. We enjoyed sitting out in a separate area beside the pool and relaxed in the patio chairs. The room was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and roomy. The driver took us to the Riverwalk and then on the way back showed some other interesting places in San Antonio's downtown area.

The stay was fine, we had everything we needed, but at breakfast time there was no where to sit because it was full, also the pool is pretty small. But other than that, the room size was ok and the service was good.

Advertises river walk but you have to walk though the ghetto to get there, front desk girl extremely rude, showed up at 2:30 hoping to check in they had us waiting around 5:30 until our room was ready, stay somewhere nicer than this for this kind of money

Good hotel for the price. The free breakfast in the morning was very good, and plentiful. Room was nice, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous. Long and short of it is, we would definitely stay there again.

At first I had reservations about about this motel because it was not exactly where I thought it would be. Upon checking in we found the staff very cordial. The wine, cheese, and fruit were very nice. I found a very clean and a pleasing atmosphere. The room was fantastic. The breakfast offered in the morning was a very nice touch also. Mind you that […] we did not eat because we were already lined up to eat lunch on our way home. I do know for sure that on our next visit(s) to San Antonio we will stay at the same Comfort suites. We have a 13 month old whos knees and feet would literally be black from crawling on the rooms floor. Hotel is just feet away from the raised interstate and the parking is under the interstate. You are charged 15 dollars for parking and the noise from the interstate can be heard in the rooms. Rooms are poorly lit. Awful part of town, I understood when […] booking that you could walk to the Alamo and the river walk. I was fine with that since every hotel on the river walk was booked. On our first time to walk down there we were approached by a homeless lady who looked to be on drugs, her eyes were staying closed and she was falling over, but waving a hat at us to put money in. My husband was stopped at the stop sign outside of the hotel and was approached by two men trying to sell him drivers license and social security cards. I honest to goodness think that any positive reviews about this hotel on trip advisor are done by employees. It's VERY dangerous to stay at this hotel. They need security in the parking lot. Anyway, I will be contacting corporate offices about this location and hopefully can give some insight into the problems of safety concerns at this hotel. Lisez la suite

I was pleasantly surprised with the location, we were able to walk to the River Walk and hit the AT&T Center and Zoo within minutes. My only complaint would be my room not ready at Check-In time, after traveling the kids were ready to relax and we had to wait an hour.

The hotel was wonderful. The pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. The breakfast was excellent. The neighborhood was a little scary after dark. I was glad to see a shuttle service offered so you did not have to be in the dark areas. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

My mistake was that I booked the hotel for two nights, but if had known that it would have been for only one. The parking was $15.00 per night, and I had to park on the street. First and last time, and will tell my friends and family to avoid that hotel. Plus it was a long way to the Riverwalk, and Alamo.

it was a little hard to find the hotel ........however the entire hotel was new, nice, modern, clean and a walking distance to downtown. I will recommend this hotel to everybody. Breakfast was good, clean and fresh.

The hotel was a little far away from the riverwalk, if you are walking. And it's very close to the highway. But, the room was great, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not so good.

Busy location and hard working staff keep this hotel in decent condition. Clean, breakfast pretty good, highway location and billboard views. 10 minute walk to the convention center but not fun during the day and a bit worrisome after dark. Wifi medium to good. No regrets.

very nice hotel; good location; only problem was that the shuttle doesn't start until 9am which was a problem when the conference started at 8am, but quick walk to conference and river walk

Everyone was fantastic! The room was great except for gum we found on the wall while we were staying. Every other part of the hotel we had access to was kept clean. The breakfast was AMAZING! The managers wine and cheese meetings were also very good and fun. Georgia was always smiling and/or singing. She is a lovely person and makes a great member of […] the staff. Manuel was so very helpful. Every time we saw him he had a smile and asked what are plans were for the day. He also suggested a few places to visit/ things to do. Alice the maid always made sure we had enough items in our room. And was very polite. The pool and spa were perfect. The workers always asked our opinion about the temp of the water and fixed it accordingly. We truly enjoyed 10 days and cannot wait to go back again. Nick helped us with some unfortunate incidents and really did his best to work things out for us. Melissa was also very helpful, even allowing me to use her cell phone when I had trouble using the in house phones. Everyone always had a smile on their face and made sure to take time to help us with anything we needed. We talked to Sherry, the owner/designer of the hotel and she was wonderful! Very sweet and down to earth. Truly made us feel important. She also explained why the fountains in the pool were not working at that time. Which just happened to be our only complaint. This hotel has a pretty good location. It's not the nicest area, but it's close enough to the Riverwalk that it's not too bad of a taxi ride or a walk in the daytime. The hotel service was pretty good, sometimes it was hard to find someone at the front desk, but they were friendly & helpful when they were there. The room needed some repairs. There must […] have been a leak in the ceiling at one time and the wall paper was peeling off and molding, the sink was very slow to drain and our room phone did not work at all, so we had to use our cell phones and call long distance for things that we otherwise would not have had to. Good stay here. Is not an attractive neighbourhood but seemed safe enough, is near the highway / easy to get places, and is about a 10-15 minute walk into downtown/Alamo etc (we did it with children aged 4 and 6). Friendly helpful staff and a good comfortable room but the pool was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned for days.Unfit for swimming. The kitchen staff seem to produce one batch of breakfast food at the start of service so if you arrive at 9am breakfast is frizzled and some items may well have run out

I found the staff that checked us in to be very rude and not willing to help with much. When I reserved the room thru Expedia, they assured me this hotel was on the Riverwalk and I would have a room overlooking it. Wrong! We had to walk a long distance to the Riverwalk. Then I left my eyeglasses in the room after checkout, and I called immediately. […] The Manager on duty, was no help, but the head of housekeeping found them and had them sent to the front desk. When I arrived to pick them up, no one knew anything. I waited about 20 minutes, and finally asked to speak to the Manager. She was on the phone and kept me waiting another 10 minutes. She came to the front, and knew about the glasses. They were in one of the drawers in the front desk! One disappointment after another....I do not recommend this hotel! Lisez la suite
