"Nicest LaQuinta I've been in yet"
The hotel was VERY clean, check-in and out was fast and easy. The INDOOR pool came in VERY handy on our one rainy day there. ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. We have family living in Deer Park and this will be my go-to hotel EVERYtime we go visit.Avis véridique Hotels.com
"Mixed feelings"
We arrived and the King with sofa sleeper I booked was not available. They were going to put us in a room with two queens, but my husband is tall which is why we need a king. The bed had a dent in it. There was a dirty washcloth in the nightstand drawer. The indoor pool was VERY nice though. Which was good because there were no childrens channels (nick, […] cartoon network) and the staff when I called down to ask about it was not sympathetic at all. Do not expect anything out of anyone at this hotel and you might enjoy it.. My children and I didn't even stay the second night. My husband stayed during the day because he was on nights at a local plant and when we asked for a late checkout they only gave us until 130. When I booked my room through Hotel.com my room was advertised with a hot tub and when I arrived my reservation had no hot tub. False advertising, the hotel said it was not there advertised picture. As for the hotel, when I went to the gym the treadmill was in need of service and the TV in the gym was not working and I reported it to the front desk […] and maintenance was on the next morning. Everything was great with the room itself, however on both sides of the front door were several men sitting on benches smoking and we had to walk right through it going in and out. Not Good!! We are non smokers and my husband has lung cancer.Avis véridique Hotels.com
"Great Stay!"
The desk clerk was very friendly and helpfull. Our initial room assigned to us was supposed to be non smoking but when we went in the room, there was a smoke odor. We went down to the desk clerk and asked for a different room and she gave us a new room assignment and apologized for the inconvienance. Indoor pool was great and stocked with towels. "Over priced, roach motel"
The air conditioner constantly kept going off and would not keep the room cold. I saw a piece of hair (not mine) on the towel when I first checked in. Lastly, I saw a roach near the doorway inside the room.Avis véridique Expedia

"GREAT location"
This hotel is located 5 minutes from the Battleship Texas and NASA. Talk about a prime location! It's about 3 years old and the staff are very friendly. Pool was nice and well kept. Rooms comfortable. It was close to several good places to eat and in a nice area of town.Avis véridique Expedia
"NEVER STAY HERE!"
I stayed and on the first night, while I was sleeping someone jumped on my car denting the whole front of my car. It must of happened that night and I noticed when I woke up. I told five different employees and still never heard from the manager or owner. One of them even laughed when I kept reminding her. All I wanted was for them to look at the videos […] of the parking lot that way there person who damaged my car would have to pay and it not come out of my pocket. I decided to try one last time on my day of checkout to get someone to do something, as I was about to drive away the front desk worker came running out, SHE had called the owner on her phone to talk to me. All he said is that he would call me when he got back into town and looks at the video. It is going on two weeks since I left and I have yet to hear from them. Talk about CRAPPY! And I wouldn't of went on and on about it if the owner had just called me as soon as he heard about to just to say 'hey I heard, i'll look at the video asap" That would of been the right thing to do. "Really Nice and Comfortable"
We came down for a wedding that was less than 2 miles away. We got there earlier than we had planned, but they let us check in anyways-What a relief!! The room was very nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We actually stayed in a room with two beds-because of the cheaper price and we now know where we are coming back to stay with the kids. I am profoundly disappointed in Hotels.com In order to be reimbursed through my company, I must present a receipt that is zero balanced. That means it must show what was charged, what I paid, and a zero at the bottom showing the transaction was closed. I sent an email and a phone call, both of which I was told that Hotels.com could not provide me with […] such a receipt. As a result, I will not be reimbursed for the amount. All because your customer service representatives said this could not be done. I'll be researching other options of complaint. I do sincerely hope that someone reads this review and responds. "La Quinta Deer Park"
Taking a family vacation is not something we do often so we have high expectations when we do attempt to go. This hotel was very clean and comfortable, especially with two young children whom loved the indoor pool. From start to finish, the only issues we had with our stay was the room service oversight and breakfast vanishing trick. After our first […] night at La Quinta we left fairly early to make a day trip to Galveston. So much to our suprise when we arrived back to our room at 6:00pm nothing had been touched by housekeeping. It seems as though the staff skipped our room as an oversight. No clean towels, toilet paper, or empty trash can to be seen. My little one said he would carry the trash to the dumpster, but much to my mother excitement for his enthusiasm I said most definitely not. This is what guests typically pay for when we pay these rates for in their stay. After going in person to the front desk to inform them of the error, the sweet lady at the counter was very surprised and said she would take care of it. A few short minutes later, she arrived at our door with all the much needed essentials to fix the problem. She seemed to be a jack of all trades in her position with the hotel, which I am assuming is probably not the highest paid person, though she should be. My family all chimmed in with cleaning up which was a first in my hotel stay diary! Though we keep our room extremely clean and orderly, there are still some things that the housekeeping staff should attend to when you stay. I am not sure where or how I could find where they store the clean towles and toilet paper. Moving on to the morning of day two, we went to breakfast at 7:45 and hello, the bar was quite empty of food. Unless you wanted cereal without milk then you were pretty much on your own. After waiting 10 minutes, the lady came out of the back and asked if there was anyghin we needed. I said breakfast would be nice, is there anything left? "La Quinta in Deer Park - good deal for the price"
The room was surprisingly large and nicely appointed. The hotel still has its new feel and the staff was friendly. We weren't there long enough to enjoy the indoor pool but it looked well kept. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.Avis véridique Hotels.com
