Hotel vieillot mais relativement propre. Personnel agréable à la disposition des clients. Emplacement idéal à promité des différentes lignes de métro , de la Vème avenue, de Times SQuare. Pensez à réclamer des serviettes de bain qui sont distribuées au nombre de brosse à dents présenté dans la salle de bain.

Hôtel agréable, petit déjeuner servit de 6h30 à 9h30 correcte (ne pas arriver trop tard), station de métro ( 39 Av ) à 3min à pieds qui vous mène en 9min à la 5ème Avenue. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Nous recommandons fortement cet hotel. Super vue sur manhattan, terrasse exceptionnelle sur les toits..fabuleux !!! les chambres sont très cosy, propres, vraiment rien à redire. C'était parfait. les alentours de l'hotel sont effectivement surprenants (zone industrielle) mais peu importe la qualité, le service, la vue nous font, tout de suite, oublier les environs. Même si nous ne sommes dans manhattan même, aucun souci de transport.....en 10 minutes grand max nous y sommes. c'est très bien desservi et en plus il y a une navette qui peut nous amener au centre de manhattan. Vriament nous recoomandons vivement cet hotel et si c'était à refaire nous y retournerons sans problème! c'est fabuleux !!!!

"Ink48 : a 15 minute-walk from Times Square"
Recently renovated, the Ink48 is the perfect place to stay. Close to the Hudson River and Times Square. Beautiful terrace at the top with a great view of MidTown Manhattan. Conveniently located near 9th avenue and its restaurants. Our room (DeLuxe with a view) was very spacious and well equipped.

"Ink48 : neuf, moderne, très accueillant"
Un hôtel tout neuf, et donc très propre. J'ai beaucoup apprécié les tons du décor de l'hôtel, et la grandeur de la chambre (studio). Elle comportait, outre 2 vasques, une grande baignoire (suffisante pour 2) intégrée dans la pièce principale, avec vue sur les gratte-ciels de NYC...très sympa pour un bain relaxant ! Une cabine de douche séparée complète […] la chambre. Les chambres sont toutes non-fumeurs, avec une carte dans la chambre qui vous précise qu'une surcharge de nettoyage de 350 $ vous sera facturée si vous fumez dans la chambre... Personnel très accueillant, qui est présent un parapluie à la main dès que vous ouvrez la porte de votre taxi sous la pluie. Taxi que l'on utilise assez souvent d'ailleurs puisque le Ink48 est à 10 min à pied du métro. Dès votre arrivée, n'hésitez à remplir le formulaire du programme de fidélité Kimpton, il vous donnera un crédit de 15 $ sur le minibar et un accès gratuit à Internet. Si vous avez oublié votre cable internet, la réception vous en prêtera un. Point négatif : 4 nuits passées au Ink48, et à 4 reprises, le lounge installé sur le toit de l'hôtel était réservé pour un événement privé. Très dommage quand on connaît la vue magnifique que réserve cet endroit ! Après m'être étonné de ce fait, la direction de l'hôtel nous a offert deux cocktails apportés en chambre, ce qui est très gentil de leur part, mais ne remplace pas la vue. "INK48: la cerise sur notre excellent séjour à NY"
Après quelques recherches sur Internet, nous avons choisi de loger à l'hotel INK48 par rapport aux bons commentaires que nous avions lu. Nous avons fait le bon choix, l'hotel était très satisfaisant sur tous les points (chambre, confort, propreté, service, ...). Nous étions au 12ème étage, pendant 7 jours. La vue était splendide, sur la ville et sur […] l'Hudson, surtout la nuit ! Demandez bien à être dans les étages supérieurs pour profiter de la vue. Nous n'avons malheurement pas eu le temps de gouter au SPA/Fitness. Autre point positif : café gratuit le matin de 7h à 9h, thé froid/limonade gratuits de 15h à 17h et dégustation de vin de 19h à 20h. Idéal pour nous qui n'avions pas pris le petit déjeuner inclus. L'hotel est situé à 15 min à pied de Times Square et à 10 min du premier métro (4 blocks). Bien situé au coeur d'un quartier populaire, au moins on goute à la vraie Amérique. En plus nous ne sommes pas loin de la meilleure boulangerie de la Big Apple: Amy's Bread. La réception est toujours prête à vous rendre service et toujours soucieuse du bon déroulement de votre séjour. En Bref, la cerise sur le gâteau de notre merveilleux séjour à NY! "Situation idéale pour découvrir nyc à pied"
L'hotel est tout récent, son design est luxueux mais classe (et pas rococo ...), le bar est cosy, les chambres suffisament spacieuses pour NYC. Nous avions une chambre avec douche (italienne, en pierre, magnifique) -pas de précision sur bain ou douche pdt la reservation? je ne crois pas) La La chmabre est munie d'une station-reveil Ipod (pensez à prendre […] le votre). Le personnel est très accueillant et disponible, conformement à cette catégorie d'hotel. Le lit est extra-confortable , la literie est neuve, notre chambre était située au 10e etage, sur la rue et c'était très calme. La vue sur Mannathan est incroyable, on voit la lumière de time square sortir des building au loin... Ne pas rater le loundge au 15 eme étage, très branché où les jeunes nykais huppés viennent s'amuser le week end. Nous avons adoré NYC et c'est aussi grace à l'ink 48 (et au repos intense) que nous avons apprécié (et supporté!) les longues heures de marche dans les rues de NYC! Nous espérons retourner à new york, ce sera si possible dans cet hotel. (Nous n'avons pas testé le spa, la salle de fitness, ..) Lisez la suite

Très déçu par cet hotel, lit double de 130cm, moins de la moitié des chambres avec vue, et des prestations qui ne sont pas à la hauteur de leur site internet, un bar sur le toit qui semble sympa encore faut-il pouvoir y accéder vu la nombreuse clientèle extérieur qui fait la queue dans le hall le soir, et inutile de dire que nous sommes de l'hotel, […] il n'y aura pas de passe droit... Le bar restaurant du bas à l'air sympatique mais reste inaccessible et ce à partir de 17h! vous êtes dans un hôtel pour la chambre mais pas dans le votre pour les parties communes... Lisez la suite

"Super hip hotel in Hell's Kitchen"
We loved this hotel. It was super hip and the room was gorgeous - surprisingly large for NYC - with a spa tub in the middle of the room and great view of Time's Square. Perfect for my 40th birthday weekend. The spa treatment I got was wonderful and we really enjoyed the restaurant and rooftop bar. The only downside is that, being in Hell's Kitchen, […] the closest subway stop is 3-4 blocks away (and by blocks, I mean the long east-west side of the block in NYC, not the short north-south blocks). We didn't mind too much, but it wasn't super convenient since we took the subway everywhere. If you're going to take a cab everywhere you won't even notice and Hell's Kitchen has a lot of great restaurant options - plus it is quieter than other midtown neighborhoods. Another upside of the location is that it's near the Lincoln tunnel, making flying into/out of Newark (which is usually a cheaper flight) a great option - probably a faster trip into Manhattan than LaGuardia or JFK. The service was pretty good. You're always going to get some 'tude in NYC - it's not a 'service with a smile' kind of place - so don't expect fawning attention. My massage therapist was fantastic. I love this hotel! I stayed at Ink 48 couple of times and everytime i was very satisfited. The rooms are very comfortable and the view is absolutely stunning. The rooftop terrace/bar has breathtaking views of Manhattan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"March Madness at Ink 48"
Me and the girls stayed at Ink 48 in Hell's Kitchen for March Madness. Amazing! rooms are massive in terms of NYC standards. The decor was simple, clean, and trendy. Loved the bathroom and beds were super comfy. Had access to the gym whenever we pleased. Roof-top lounge is a must see. Great for before or after dinner drinks. Check out Je & Jo coffee/icecream […] place up the street. Great freshly made ice-cream like a block from the hotel. Pass the best bakery along the way (forget the name) Lisez la suite

I was really pleased with this hotel. The price could not be beat for such a nice, modern hotel with really cool amenities and beautiful interior. The bars and restaurants of Hells Kitchen were in walking distance and it was just a short cab ride into the village and 10 minutes to So-Ho. The best part was, I was able to get on and off of the Lincoln […] Tunnel within just blocks of the hotel so it was super convenient for driving. Valet parking was expensive but worth it. "Best NYC hotel - romantic engagement with a view."
So I don't write reviews that often but EVERYTHING about this hotel is perfect. every single person I interacted with was professional, kind, knowledgable, and if they didn't know, they found somebody who could. bellhop - I am from Mass so I had to drop off a few bags the day before as part of my surprise proposal. Upon our arrival, the bellmen/valet […] put my car to one side and took care of storing everything without a problem. i mention this because I was not checking in till the next day and they were very busy but they took the time to help me out. Concierge - I booked this hotel as a surprise the day I proposed to my know fiance. I am from out of state and needed to coordinate a lot of events for the day over the phone/via email. When I called to speak to the staff about my plans, I directed to the concierge, Jeffrey. Thank god I did. Being nervous enough about everything else, he was beyond fantastic. I told him my plans to say the room wasn't ready, make dinner reservations with certain dietary restrictions and just bounced ideas off of him all via email. He was quick and throughoughwith his responses and took care of everything - never had to ask twice. All the staff I interacted with knew exactly what to do and everything went perfectly. He even came to the restaurant to make sure my arrangement there went well too. I mean, that is impeccable service. Other staff - The day before when I stopped by, like I said they were busy, I had some questions about the room and its layout for the setup with rose petals, etc. THE FREAKING ACCOUNTANT of the hotel took me to go see it even though she was clearly about to leave. Now that is dedication. Room - The room was immaculate. Beautifully designed, decorated and furnished. The dual shower heads were amazing. Plenty of towels and 2 very comfy bath robes. The hot tub was plenty big for 2 but for clarity, it does not have any jets. Bath salts were perfect, gave a great scent without being too overpowering. Aaaaand of Lisez la suite
"The view is jawdropping."
Fabulous hotel. My official favorite now. I was getting around on a cane after having knee surgery and the staff was so helpful to me! The hotel is in Midtown West and if you are a tourist, you might (mistakenly) find it's location on 11th Avenue to be isolated. I am a New Yorker. Trust me when I tell you, I speak for us all, you are far better off […] here. When you see the view from you window, that'll be enough. But the food and life along 9th and 10th Avenues in Hell's Kitchen (Midtown West) is hands down better than the tourist trap crap you'd be hustled into buying in Times Square. NEVER eat in Times Square. If you are gay -- the hotel is in the middle of NYC's current home to gay life, Hell's Kitchen. Chelsea ceased being the center of gay life 5-10 years ago as the High Line Park was built and the rents went stratospheric (I recommend checking out the High Line, though!). And the West Village is only historically gay. If you're looking for fun - its likely to be had in Hell's Kitchen, and Ink48 is a fantastic place to invite a sexy New York guy from the bar overnight. ;) Lisez la suite

This is a beautiful beautiful hotel. We had the studio city room with a huge bath tub in the bedroom, high ceiling, huge windows,love it. The roof top bar is expensive ($11 a Sam Adams) but with beautiful views on Times Square lights and neons The Print restaurant is expensive, good and the waiter very very friendly, he had us taste wines we were hesitating […] between. I love the Kimpton chain, always clean, friendly and plenty of free amenities The cons : in room breakfast : $55 for 2 eggs (not even with toast), coffee, orange juice and 1 croissant. The food was mediocre quality (croissant and sausages over baked ...) Avoid in-room breakfast... also, their best rooms (King city view and Studio) are right out of the elevator ... so if you are not bothered by the ding ding ding ding of the elevator and the chat of people waiting for it, great. Otherwise ... what were you thinking about mister the architect when you rehab this former printer into this hotel ?? Overall ... even if a little far from subway and main neighborhood, I will come back and I recommend this place Lisez la suite

The neighborhood is quite isolated and has been gentrified to an extent, but it is pretty inconvenient compared to those hotels further East. It is three LONG blocks to Broadway, and the wind coming off the Hudson River can be pretty devastating.. .The food prices at the hotel are truly outrageous; $27 for a breakfast; $9 for a cup of coffee...thanks […] heavens they offer free coffee in the lobby....oh, and $25 for a diet coke and a mixed drink...there is a good 24 hr diner three blocks away. The hotel itself is extremely nice and in the Kimpton traditionof good servie, friendliness and innovative decor. Lisez la suite

Room very well appointed and a good size for NY. Nice city views, although I am aware that some of the rooms look out over the Hudson. Gorgeous, large bathroom with bath. Very […] comfortable. Couple of mumbles: I was on the 7th floor and was woken by traffic in the early mornings, so you might want to ask for a room on a higher floor. The night traffic was not too loud. The rooftop bar was closed for a private party the night we wanted to have a drink, and although we made other plans, it was a bit of a disappointment not to have the opportunity to have a drink overlooking the city. Went here for a Valentine's weekend. It was a great hotel, very conveniently located with knowledgeable and courteous staff. The room was beautiful with a nice soaking tub a great view of the city. Perfect for a quiet weekend in the city with your sweetheart.

Love the size of the rooms!! Neighborhood just oK, but centrally located. Problems with mechanical sounds in the room, woke me up. Wasnt really fixed. Gave us choice to move, but really? Light in bathroom out, never fixed with repeated requests.Most annoying: trying to bring my drink from the roof top bar to my room and being treated like a criminal. […] RUDE bouncers. 4th time we've stayed in the last 2 years. very convenient to dining and entertainment in the meatpacking district. my wife left her razor and straightening iron home. i called the front desk and 5 minutes later they delivered both items to our room...no charge. great spot...even better service.

I live in in NY but booked a night to hang on the lovely rooftop and support a dog friendly hotel. The hotel is gorgeous, parking is easy, staff was very nice. Only 2 things are that there was a sewage like smell on the 5th floor so I think a plumber was needed to snale the pipes, but it was only near the bathroom and in the hall, not through most of […] the room.. The other thing is the music upstairs should have been a little more hop and uptempo on a Saturday night as opposed to jazz and elevator music. Never the less, I would stay again and recommend it.. "GREAT NEW BOUTIQUE HOTEL"
Great sized rooms, beautiful space, staff and surroundings. Amazing views. Not near the subway but if you're a walker, this is a great hotel. Loved IT.
This was our second stay at the INK48 Hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The rates are reasonable. The rooms are a good size and immaculate. The view of the city is outstanding. "Very nice hotel"
The staff, food, cleanliness, and atmosphere of the hotel were fantastic. The location, while only 3-4 blocks from Time Square, was a long walk. Having never been to NY before, I wasn't familiar with the bus or rail system and routes. Beautiful hotel, great views of midtown, though kind of noisy at night due to location. Would stay again, but this time facing the Hudson.
