Roydon Beachfront Apartments - Trinity Beach

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et les conseils d' EDDY ainsi que sa disponibilité. L' appartement était agréable, très spacieux et bien équipé, dans un environnement de verdure et proximité de la mer très agréable. Seul le ménage du 5è jour était sommaire.

Very spacious room(s) and beautiful sunset view from balcony. Had all the conveniences to cook in the room if we wanted.

I would recommend this hotel/apt as a very comfortable stay for a family of 5. Kitchen well equipped, including picnic basket and ice chest for day trips away from the hotel. Well thought out. Contact manager for a buying service offered to fill the fridge on your arrival.

Eddy was very helpful in every way and beyond. We were upgraded to a larger place without asking since it was a slow period. My only regret would be that we didn't stay longer.

We had a great stay at the Roydon and would recommend it. I would suggest getting a car...if you're comfortable with the shift to the other side. Eddie was very helpful and even set up a car rental for us. Great family place!

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Roydon apartments and had the most wonderful experience. It was the perfect location for a family holiday with Trinity Beach being such a relaxed, peaceful, beautiful place. There are enough places to eat out and purchase food without the town being over-developed or busy. The kids spent most of their days between the beach […] and pool. The location is close enough to go out on day trips or just catch the local bus into Cairns or surrounding areas if you wish. The apartment we were in was sensational - for a start it was massive! We had people visit us who were also staying in nearby resorts and they were very envious of the size and location of our apartment. The ocean view was worth the upgrade and provision of details such as beach towels, WiFi, beach toys, an esky, feezer bricks and picnic ware in the apartment were greatly appreciated. The location is also second to none being right on the beach and close to the eating places and bottle shop. The supermarket is a short stroll but it has a courtesy bus to take your shopping and you back to the Roydon so you don't have to carry it back. We were greeted by our host Eddie who was very hospitable and always accommodating with our requests. He was able to organise all our day trips and car hire with no fuss and helped advise us on the best and cheapest way to organise things. Nothing is too hard or ever a problem. In short, we had the most wonderful, relaxing family holiday and staying at the Roydon was a major part of that. I would not hesitate to recommend them and have started saving already so that we can go back and stay there again in the not too distant future! Lisez la suite

We were greeted by a "sarcastically sweet" Eddie who was always helpful in setting us for tours, even the last minute calls... Got a free upgrade to see-front room in the top floor, where got to enjoy sunrise views and see breezes without needing to leave the comfort of the balcony. We stayed for 7nights and alll but one had been incident free, where […] we got an unwanted visitor in the middle of the night... A flying cockroach almost 1.5inches long, flew straight to my face as I was dozing myself to sleep with my Game of Thrones 4-book series! Imagine my horror, give me a snake or croc to hold no problem, but roaches just freak me out! I had to drag my already sleeping partner off the bed and kill the freaking thing for me! She surely gave me pretty jesting everyday since, but no matter that, I would have not been able to sleep if that thing wasn't dead... Took us good 10minutes to chase it out from under the bed and whack it dead... Anyhow, as I said, apart from that - it was a great spacious place. We got free Wi-Fi as well, though not the fastest, better than naught. Surprisingly enough, Australia is somewhat delayed in techy - and although my friends living in Au already forewarned me, I guess I expected somewhat bit more; but like i said, better than zit.... Also, we discovered the nearby bistro had free wifi and had better speeds, so we spent some time there, updating out FB world in between our latte sips.. There is also a convenience center not more than 10mins walk away, where wewere able to buy food and some supplies for the week stay; so, all in all, it was a true retreat from the city! We travelled to Roydon apartments with the idea of a family beach holiday and it's exactly what we got. My wife 17month old daughter and I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, the apartment was well spaced out with plenty of room for our daughter to play. Eddie was also happy to supply us with a pram, porta cot and high chair which was brilliant. Roydon is ideally located on the Trinity Beach esplanade a short 50m to the beach and 50m to restaurants and the tavern. If you’re after a nice relaxing beach holiday then this is the place to go. Just got back from 5 weeks away and the 3 bedroom apartment we had here was definitely the best place we stayed. The apartment was a very good size with excellent views of the palm fringed beach. We had four superb nights at this complex. It met all our expectations as an ideal relaxing beach front apartment. It was close to all local amenities and only a short distance from Cairns Airport. after spending a few nights in Cairns it was good to settle in to the pace of Trinity Beach. the manager Eddie was number one host & very good to deal with, a name not a number! good location to base yourself for a look aroud the region.

We had everything we needed. The bed was one of the best we have had and the linen including blankets and bedspreads was all clean. There are lots of lovely restaurants to choose from just outside the door and plenty of shops close by on the highway as well as locally. We were pleased we had rented a car as this gave us more freedom to do all the sights […] and explore, we found Cairns very easy to drive around. As we arrived at the Roydon Beachfront Apartments we were met by our wonderful Hosts. Nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Our View was absolutely amazing - the beach was metres away and the sound of the waves rocked us to sleep. There were 5 of us in our 2 bedroom apartment - there was more than enough room for all of us - and we had our […] own space! I loved returned to the peace and relaxed air, the kids loved the pool and the spa, and the shops up the road had beautiful food. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had excellent service from Eddie and the staff. We were there for five days and were absolutely pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the apartments. They were very spacious and extremely well serviced. It's not in Cairns but anyone who does their homework on holiday destinations would know that Cairns Northern Beaches are a far better experience than Cairns Central if you're looking for a classical palm treed beach setting. Apartment was 10 out of 10, nearby restaurants 1st class and within 2 minute walk. Cairns airport only 15 minutes away - why bother going any further north to Port Douglas.

We stayed at the Roydon for three nights after a conference in Cairns - and wished it could have been much longer! Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Very central location but at the same time quiet and relaxing. We'll definitely be back!

Despite arriving at 4:30am, Eddy welcomed us with his cracking wit and was very helpful in assisting us during our stay. The Royden Apartments are very spacious, exceptionally clean with a well equipped kitchen,lovely furnishings and stunning views from a large private balcony which overlooks Trinity Beach front. The location is excellent for day trips […] to Cairns city, Atherton Tablelands, Port Douglas and many other tourist attractions and activities. Right next door to the Royden apartments, along the picturesque palm lined beach front, are a selection of Restaurants and Cafes. I would highly recommend the Royden Apartments if you desire a relaxing more secluded beach holiday location with the luxury of being a short drive to all the breathtaking sights and attractions this region has to offer. What a great location in Trinity Beach! Our beautiful, spacious, clean two bedroom/two bathroom apartment was fully furnished with dishes, cooking utensils, and 2 flat screen TV's. We had a huge deck overlooking the gardens, ocean, and pool. Eddie was very hospitable and helped us book an excursion to the Daintree Rain Forest. We also did a fabulous […] diving/snorkeling excursion on the Great Barrier Reef out of Port Douglas. Both excursions picked us up at the Roydon. The ocean was just across the street, and there were restaurants within walking distance. We wish that we had planned at least one more day there to go to the wildlife sanctuary nearby. Warmly welcomed, we were escorted to our room by Eddie who happily filled us in on all that we needed to know about our accommodation and the surrounding facilities. Room was well appointed with everything you could think of that might be needed for a quick getaway or a full-on holiday! The Roydon, located directly across Trinity Beach, was a perfect home base for the week we spent along the Great Barrier Reef. We rented a spacious, nicely-furnished and equipped (including big fluffy towels), 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with full kitchen and laundry facilities, wireless internet connections. and a large lanai facing a beautiful garden. […] Its location at Trinity Beach was ideal, only about 12 miles north of Cairns, from where one could catch numerous types of boats to snorkel or scuba dive the reef. Public transport to other communities along the seacoast is frequent and the bus stop was only a few steps away from the Roydon. Other reviewers have mentioned the graciousness of owners Eddie and Julie, but they were on vacation themselves when we were there, leaving us in the very capable hands of Stacey who arranged sailing tours and bus tours to the Daintree Rainforest [they pick you up right at the Roydon], rental cars, airport transport, and answered all of our questions. Due to the disastrous flooding in southern Queensland, we were lucky enough to change our travel plans and extend our stay, giving us a few extra days to enjoy this unique and beautiful area. One note of warning: during the mid summer months, be careful about swimming in any of the beaches along the coast because the waters are inundated with box jelly fish (some lethal) and other stingers. Trinity Beach, like all the other beaches, has created screened-in safe swimming areas. All the scuba and dive operations provide you with boots and wetsuits, which also cover your head and hands, so you can snorkel and dive with no concerns. Returning to the cool, restful and comfortable Roydon, after spending full days in the ocean seeing the hundreds of varieties of fish and the beautiful reefs, was one of the highlight of our trip. I was very satisfied with my stay here. I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was extremely spacious, had 2 bathrooms, a jacuzzi, giant balcony, and every amenity and kitchen accessory you would ever really need. After driving up in a camper from Sydney, the apartment was just what we needed to relax and refresh ourselves. There really isn't anything that […] was lacking there (except maybe the lift was a bit slow on the way down, so take the stairs). The manager, Eddie, was also great and always there whenever we needed any help. We arrived after 11pm at the airport and took the pre-arranged transfer service to Roydon. Eddie was awake waiting to welcome us and show us to our apartment. She showed us sights we would never have seen - an awesome bonus since my knee had gone out my first day in Australia and getting around was very difficult.. An incredible end to our trip and her friendliness and generosity went way beyond. Have never meet more friendlier people than in Australia. Dinner at Blue Moon Grille was fantastic and the owner also went out of his way by picking us up and driving us back - arranged by Julie and Eddie of course!!! Excellent large comfortable apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the lovely Trinity Beach. Several restaurants nearby and Ci Fennali's restaurant further along the beach with it's freshly home cooked food is a must. The best food we found in Cairnes.

We arrived at this hotel at around 22:00. The reception was closed, but I was able to use a phone there to contact management. The manager in charge then gave me a lecture on common courtesy, and kept asking me why I hadn't called up front. While I believe it is true that you are informed of office hours during the booking at hotels.com, the behaviour […] of this manager was plain down rude, and ruined my first impression of this hotel. There is absolutely nothing to complaint about the stay we had. Coming from a 5 day stay in Sydney and knowing the kind of accommodation you find there for the budget we been absolutely stunned. The Roydon/Beachfront Apartments are huge(1500-2000) sq ft at a reasonable price.They have everything you need for a self-catering vacation.The manager Eddie is very helpful. It is located right across the street from Trinity Beach.

I was absolutely blown away by this condo. I travel a lot and love to stay in condos, since I like to have a kitchen and lots of room. This is a fantastic place to stay. It was beachfront, so the sun came up in the huge, glass front living room and kitchen! I would wake up early just to see the sunrise over the ocean. the beach was right across the […] barely used street and had a very small beach park for kids. Next door is a Sports Restaurant with wonderful food. I would see an occational jogger in the morning and thought how great it must be to live here in Trinity Beach. I would love to buy this condo to retire in, it's that nice. I had my daughter staying with me in our 1600 + sq foot, 2 bedroom condo. She was studying abroad from California at James Cook University. I came to visit and had her stay with me and she didn't want to go back to her apartment. We had a wonderful time making meals in the beautiful granet top kitchen with a large island,that had all the dishes and picnic ware that we needed. It was beautifully furnished and plenty of mirrored closet space. There was air conditioning as well as ceiling fans in each room and a washer and dryer. That was very nice for us! I had such a good time there, I will be back to the same place next year! That was my first trip to Australia and I really picked a great place to stay. It was also unbelievably affordable! Excellent apartment across from the ocean in a quiet beach town. The service was beyond our expectations. Great tour service available and the bus picks you up next door. Walking distance to stores and food. We look forward to visiting again.
