Stay was nice - only problem was that it was biker weekend and several stayed at this location. Several times throughout the night I was awakened by the start and stop of loud motors into the parking lot.

The hotel is somewhat new which is always a plus. Sunday morning I was awakened early [Sunday 8:00 am] by what sounded like the slamming of doors in the hallway which was the cleaning service. Call me spoiled but I am starting to judge a hotel by the breakfast, included in the price or otherwise, which to me is a representation of the overall experience. […] I find the breakfast to be marginal and perhaps best suited for children. This Hotel was very clean, The service is excellent, As well there were a lot of options for Breakfast. The rates were a lot lower then in Myrtle Beach which was very hectic so if you can handle driving the extra mile it is definitely worth it., So it was very nice to get away from Myrtle Beach, The beach in Murrels Inlet was also a lot less people. […] We will definitely stay here again. You'd be surprised!!! This was a last minute booking for a quick beach trip with the kids. I was completely surprised with the quality of the hotel and staff (for only having a 2.5 star rating on here....should be at least 4.5). The surrounding area offered just about anything you'd want to do with a family; restaurants, mini-golf, beach....etc. And […] not too commercial like other areas close by... Vending machine was out of water and I was so thirsty! It would have been a nice touch to have water bottles in the mini-fridge for your guests. Also, I needed to wash some clothes in the morning, so I was excited to see a guest laundry room, but I had no detergent. A vending machine that dispenses detergent would have been perfect! My stay was very nice, but when I checked in, I had confirmed two rooms, but when I got there, they only had me for one. The gentleman at the desk was able to find me another room, at their rate. I had a confirmation number for the two rooms, but somehow, it didn't happen. Other than that, the stay was very nice.

What a suprise! Hotel was very clean and the room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was not your typical bagels and muffins. There was a hot selection each morning along with the make your own belgian waffles, etc. Even though the hotel is not located close to the beach, driving destinations where within 5 to 10 miles. One of our best stays ever....the hotel was spotless and decorated beautifully. We came to Murrells Island to see an old friend that lives in this area. The room was beautiful and the staff especially Will was terrific. The area was beautiful and definately will come back when we can stay longer. Came to visit one friend let with several other friendships. Thank you Hampton.

They hotel was so new-looking! I loved the decor; it was modern but classy, with lots of creams and blues and very dark wood. The breakfast was great and they even had sugar-free jelly for the biscuits. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and every one of the people helping us was courteous and knowledgable. Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Very clean and modern, with easy access to restaurant row in Merrells Inlet. Quiet location and easy access to HWY 17. The only drawback is it's not on the waterfront (no hotels are on the Inlet) where you can enjoy a sunrise/sunset view. Overall an excellent choice.
