Hampton Inn - Charlotte Uptown - Charlotte

The hotel was amazing. Took the complimentary shuttle to the Epicenter and enjoyed an evening with my friends and had an easy 6 block walk back at the end of the evening. Woke in the comfortable bed and ate the amazing breakfast prior to checkout. Enjoyed the hotel so much, I booked the next night and took a friend with me the next night!!!

We loved the Hampton Inn Uptown. The employees were so helpful and pleasant. even though the lobby was all torn up , their pleasant manner made it all worthwhile for the little inconvience it caused.

We were happy with our stay. The ground floor lobby and other common areas were being renovated but it did not cause us any inconvenience. We used the shuttle service several times and the driver was very courteous and helpful.

My husband had doctor's appointment-ASL clinic. The hotel very convenient to clinic and we plan to stay there again.

The hotel is located in the Uptown section of Charlotte. It is an easy walk to many resturants and entertainment options. Hotel was clean, friendlt staff, good breakfast, brown bag snack provided, and the shuttle will take you anywhere in a 3 mile radius.

Where this hotel is a little further away (by blocks) than others in the downtown area, it is super quiet and easy to get to! Even the parking garage was clean a quiet! We stayed in a suite with a whirlpool tub in the room. It was more spacious than I expected. The breakfast area is nice enough. Plenty of seating and the standard continental menu.

We had a great stay at the hampton uptown charlotte. Close to the area we wanted to be in downtown Charlotte nc.the rooms vwhere clean and comfortable.the staff at the desk very helpful during our stay.enjoyed the in door pool and hot tub.And breakfast was right downstairs.....just what we needed to start our day out right. This was an overnight stay for a sporting event downtown. The hotel exceded my expectations and I will stay here again. Within walking distance to the downtown area, free hotel parking, a great room, helpful staff, and a great breakfast in the morning. The price was very reasonable.

I wish I wouldn't have booked with hotels.com A couple who rented a room after we checked in got the same type of room with a AAA discount for $30 less. It was still a great hotel- free parking, free breakfast, and wonderful beds.

The staff goes above and beyond with excellent service. The desk agent "Z" is great! Very good shuttle service.

Only complaint that I have is the noise of the corner rooms (not sure if every spa room is a corner room or not). We had a spa room which was wonderful but the noise coming from the hall door which leads out to the parking garage was all night long. Free shuttle was awesome, staff was amazing, breakfast was good and location was great!

This was a very nice hotel to stay in for the football game that we attended but the price was a bit high in my opinion.

The Hampton Inn Charlotte Uptown is a convenient place to stay if you are going to a panthers game or doing anything else in the uptown area. Since the uptown area is so small, everything is pretty much within easy walking distance. The hotel is located next to the NASCAR hall of fame and about half a mile from Bank of America Stadium. The staff was wonderful at this hotel. I especially liked the water bottles at check-in available daily as we would go in or out. Very convenient to convention center and NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Chose this hotel based on reviews at several sites for attendance of a 4 day event at the Convention Center and surrounding other hotels (chose over the organization's recommended convention hotels). Felt I made the best choice! Absolutely convenient to the Convention Center. Front desk helpful (from taking care of sending out some business faxes, to […] holding bags on check out day until 6 for us). Just great complimentary breakfast offerings. Option of using their shuttle taken advantage of twice (I think it has a 3 mile radius for service). Room quality very good, beds very comfortable, bathroom roomy. our reason for vistiting the hotel was to goto the NASACAR hall of fame. it was just across the street. hotel staff was great in pionting us out to a great place to eat for dinner and helping us with our needs ... breakfast was great also.. fresh fruit waffels and extras.. would stay agian and will

I stayed here with a group of 15 of my college students - the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was AWESOME!!! I didn't hear any complaints from my students and had absolutely none myself.

Hotel was clean, convenient and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly without being pushy. I would highly recommend. The housekeeping was slightly odd, given that although I hung up my towels, I had new ones each day. But hardly something to complain about. On the whole, this was a comfortable, excellent hotel.

I knew I was in trouble at time of check-in. The poor gentlemen at the front desk was working solo during a very busy time of the evening. Unfortunately for those of us checking in, that meant a very lengthy process. More unfortunate, however, was the stained bed linens. As I turned down the linens to check the bed, I was greeted by a wonderful stain […] of decent size. Luckily, there was a second bed. It was clean, though I hesitated to climb in. I always love the Hampton Inn. This time I had a problem with my neighbors. I really didn't feel like they were talking loud, but I could hear every word they said.

Very very satisfied. Nice clean rooms. Very friendly employees. If ever in Charlotte will stay there again. Thank you!

Fantastic hotel - the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We would rate it as a five star accomodation

I'd recommend this hotel for anyone. For the price, it was more than satisfactory. It's a new hotel so the rooms are clean and up to date. A good breakfast is included, as is free wifi. Great hotel for conventions-great access and easy breakfast

I will start by saying this hotel was very clean and convenient to downtown Charlotte. The room was fresh and view wonderful. However, I specifically chose this hotel because it claimed to have a shuttle that guests could use for a 3 mile radius, and I was going to a show 2.5 miles away, the shuttle refused to go there even though several other guests […] requested the same. This was very disappointing, they would rather run lazy people a few blocks away all evening rather than us to a show. It cost us an additional $20 in cab rides. Lisez la suite

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. You get so much bang for your buck and the staff is extremely courteous. The breakfast is good and the room is spacious. With free wi-fi and bottled water, what more can you ask for from a hotel?

I enjoy my stay at the Hampton Inn. They have a shuttle bus to drive you uptown or you could walk. They are within walking distance of shoppin, dining, museums, and public transit. They have an indoor pool and hot tub. their continental beakfast was fresh and hot.

Hotel service, location, room, etc, all good. Not Superior, but very good. Easy trip from airport, close to many things downtown, 1/2 block from NASCAR museum, free indoor parking, free breakfast, friendly staff. Price is not cheap, but a good choice considering everything. Extremely convenient to venues in downtown Charlotte, free parking, decent breakfast, feels safe. More expensive than other budget chains but worth it for the safer feeling.

At night, the walking route to the hotel is isolated and lighting is not very good. Too many dark and hidden areas.

Adjacent to the Nascar hall of fame and the convention center, this is a very convenient hotel. Free parking in a deck shared with the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn is always a plus in downtown Charlotte. The facility is starting to show its age a bit and could do with some deeper maintenance. There's also something with the water that resulted in a nice […] brown ring around the hot tub in my room both before I used it (which housekeeping dealt with promptly after it was reported) and after each time. Might be a good idea to clean the pipes. Otherwise, you can't beat the price in anything near the convention center, and the free breakfast is a nice perk. Shuttle doesn't really go to airport like the website says it does. There are also smoking rooms and the website says there are none.
