"Room 111"
This room is a very small single - the problem is the boiler/fan which is built in to the wall which acts like a massive heater ! small window with restricted opening meant this room was like a sauna ! I have staiyed at this hotel previously and would stay again , but never in this room . The Hotel did provide a small fan but still totally inadequate […] and impossible to be comfortable or sleep . "Fantastic Small hotel"
I stayed on a stop over on the way to Aberfeldy. There were a few minor issues with my room, but these were very quickly resolved with a smile. "A bit disappointing..."
Ths staff were very nice but the room I was allocated had a broken door so I was moved to a room which was unacceptably hot ,and tiny.I was movedback the next day once the door had been fixed but the room was dusty .Thehotel could be beautiful but it needs a good clean. "Immediate Management Response"
Check-in fine. Single room very pleasant in appearance and decor BUT in the bathroom there was a cupboard which presumably encased a major heating system, the consequence was that without extractor fan (or other mechanism) the heat spilt into the bedroom making the environment intolerable. The manager responded immediately by booking double room in […] their sister hotel in Stirling at no extra cost which was fine by me. I was sorry not to be able to stay in Bridge of Allan though as the hotel looked really good. I will try and stay there later in the year but it seems that the hotel is often full! "Staff was marvelous"
The staff was so wonderful. I arrived several hours before check-in just hoping to drop off my bags. They had an open room that I was able to take a nap in for a few hours, shower, etc. Then while I was out visiting the sights they moved my things to my room for the night. They wanted to move me to the other room to ensure that my evening would be restful. […] Apparently the first room was over the bar and can get a tad loud on weekends. The stay was just wonderful. Did an overnight with other couple to celebrate birthdays. Good hotel lovely staff great for get-to-gether. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well decorated, only point bathroom light comes on when you enter and stays on when you leave, ours went out when in the shower, (very minor complaint). "Upmarket Location"
In a very nice area of Stirling and a well known landmark in the area (in terms of meetings, drinking places, etc). Keen but perhaps poorly trained staff and a leak in the ceiling did persist for a day. An excellent breakfast counterweighed by a lack of effort in trying to fit us in for the evening meal (which even though we did not book they should […] have made a little effort to accomodate paying guests). "Felt like I was home"
The staff was absolutely wonderful. They all went out of there way to accommodate our needs and answer our questions. The hotel felt more like a home than an actual hotel. The location was good also. "Lovely quiet location"
The hotel was not in Stirling but rather Bridge of Allan which I did not realise when I booked. However, the hotel is lovely and quiet, the room well set out and the bus into Stirling was just a minutes walk down the road. The bus to town was cheap. I booked a room at Adamo as I was going to a function there that night. When I arrived a received a friendly welcome and was shown to my room. When I saw the room it was a little small and extremely warm. It was explained to me that this was the last room as they had a large wedding in town and would try to resolve the heat issue. The duty manager […] was extremely helpful and kept me informed of their progress. Alas they could not solve the issues with the room due to circumstances beyond their control but I would definately go back as the service was first class. The price of my room was refunded and I received a personal call from the Hotel Manager after returning from my trip to confirm that my room charge would be refunded. We had a double room in the hotel and were very impressed. The hotel has obviously had a lot of money spent on it and it shows!
