CS Vila das Lagoas - Albufeira

We just returned from staying 12 nights at this hotel and all we have nothing but good things to report about this establishment. The hotel is a first class operation, the staff are amazing and extremely helpful, the facilities were great, etc. The only negative that we could find, which was not a large one, was that the hotel is a ways from the city […] and there is not much around the hotel itself such as restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent and prices very good. We were pleasantly surprised at what our overall impressions of this establishment ended up being. We, like other people, read previous reviews and had in our minds what we might or could expect. We read things like the staff were rude, uncaring and unknowledgeable. We can tell you from experience that the staff are nothing short of great. We dealt with many members of the staff and not one had a negative about them. They were extremely helpful and very polite at all times. A couple of times they went beyond their call of duty. As for our accommodations we read some negatives from others but we could find none. We stayed in a two bedroom apt (even though we only booked a one bedroom apt) and the place was not only extremely modern and spacious, it was very clean. Our apt was bigger than some people;s homes. All we can say is that after having read the negative reviews that were posted prior us going on our trip(not all were negative) we can say from our own experience that they are misleading as this is a great place to stay. For those who wrote negatives about this hotel I have to wonder if the negatives were truly warranted. There are always two sides to every story. What we read(in many cases) and what we experienced was like day and night. We would go back to this hotel with no hesitation and we highly recommed this to anyone. Lisez la suite

Fantastic place for a family holiday. Huge site, great pools. Close to beach and supermarket. Everything you need.

Top Tip - If you order a Taxi from the hotel reception, make sure you get them to either, take your name or give you a taxi number, because, as we found out to our cost, when there are 3 or 4 groups in reception all waiting for taxis, there is no organisation amoungst the hotel staff as to who's taxis is who's.

The rooms themselves were spotless and seemed to be untouched, but there were a few amenities missing such as no phones in the apartment and the jacuzzi tubs were not working (intentionally). There were no locks on the bedroom or bathroom doors so it was a bit odd in terms of guest stays. It seems as if these apartments are meant to be sold but they […] are renting them in the meantime. Other than that however, the rooms were extremely spacious and the apartment was lovely. It had a full kitchen, every room had a balcony, and we could see both the ocean and pools from our balcony. We had a three bedroom and my only complaint was that all the rooms had two twin beds(no doubles). The beach is walking distance and the property was beautiful. The staff was sufficient but could learn a thing or two about friendly service. Not overly accomodating. There is also only one electronic key per apartment so you have to be careful to keep up with it. You should probably rent a car if you really want to explore the city, and make sure you have clear directions as the hotel is a bit out of the way. Overall, I think the apartment outweighs any negatives associated with the property and staff and I would definitely stay there again. Lisez la suite

Välskött lägenhetskomplex med massor av pooler och enorma lägenheter.. Vi trivdes utomordentligt bra de fem dagar vi var där men jag skulle inte planera någon längre vistelse om man inte är beredd på att ta taxi till restauranger om man inte vill äta på hotellets egen. Vi åt en kväll på hotellets restaurang som höll bra klass men tog taxi till restauranger […] i närliggande byar övriga kvällar. Lisez la suite

Vi havde en villa med pool og det var utrolig lækkert. Flot hus med alt hvad man kan drømme om af luksus. Alt omkring huset var også dejligt, det er måske ikke særlig autentisk med alt det nybyggeri, men det hele er pænt og lækkert så hvis man ikke søger det originale Portugal lige hvor man bor er det super fint og dejligt med børn. Det eneste minus […] var tennis, det kostede en formue at leje meget dårligt udstyr. Lisez la suite

Very nice hotel where we stayed at their 3-bedroom apartment (2 adults and 3 children). Great space and great facilities and a very nice beach. Tried the gym, the massage and one of the restaurants for dinner. Everything was great. If we could complain about anything it was the service from the personell. They were very polite and service minded once […] you got their attention but could speak to each other event though they had customers in front of them. Lisez la suite

Super strand samt golfbane, vi havde morgenmad med og det kan anbefales. Vi blev opgraderet til en villa med egen pool uden beregning. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Lækkert lejlighedsresort med lækre pools og gåafstand til fantastis og ægte Algarve-strand. Nødvendigt med bil da det ligger en smule afsides. Stort og veludstyret fitness-afdeling til fri afbenyttelse. De varmeste anbefalinger!
