Agréable moment pas de désagréments majeurs , bien que nous n'y ayons passés que deux nuits séparés , c'était correct idéal pour les gens qui doivent faire une escale d'une nuit s'ils doivent partir en croisière !

"Would be nice ..... with some smiles"
Nice room even if a kitchen with a microwave but without a freezer is sort of awkward ...you can't eat icecream or frozen ready meals in your room !!! The service is just OK....what is really missing are SMILES ..... except the 2 bellmen I met in this hotel, no one of the 7 other staff I met could smile ..... in a boutique hotel you expect more kindness […] from the staff !!! The free transfer from and to the aiport is great but do not believe the receptionnist when he tells you that the transfer time to the airport is around 30 minutes .... we booked the transfer a 4.00 pm for a 6.30pm international flight and we got at the airport at 5.20pm just 10 minutes before end of cheking. "Hotel RIVIERA MIAMI BEACH: belle situation à SO BE"
J'avais réservé 2 grandes chambres avec vue piscine, nous n'en avions qu'une à notre arrivée. Le réceptionniste nous a attribué une plus grande chambre pour compenser (sans vue) et qui restait malgré tout plus petite que celle prévue. Par ailleurs l'ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas et nous avons dû épauler le valet (passablement fatigué par la situation) […] pour monter par l'escalier qui ressemblait plus à celui d'un immeuble du Bronx qu' à une annexe d'un 4 étoiles; le parking à 32$ était qq peu cher également. A part cela, les chambres sont très bien décorées et très douillettes, on se sent plus chez soi que dans un hôtel un peu trop impersonnel en général. A recommander si les réservations initiales st respectées et à condition que personnel et ascenseur soient à la hauteur si j'ose dire. Enfin, l'environnement immédiat de l'hôtel patit des travaux qui défigurent pour l'instant les rues, gageons que dans qqs tps, le quartier sera bcp plus agréable. The front desk was always courteous and helpful. The location was great. It was close to the beach and the local bus that takes you all the way down South Beach is only a couple blocks away. The room was very clean but small. We enjoyed our stay.Avis véridique Hotels.com
"Perfect location"
I stayed in one of the studio rooms and it was nice and cozy. Staff was excellent. Convenience store right around the corner w/ great food. Beach only a block away. On 20th street, so it's away from all of the party goers. It's also on the nicer part of Collins ave. If you get a studio room, make sure your comfortable w/ who you go with. Not too private. "You get what you pay for"
Well, don't have a lot of expectations about this place. Definetely affordable for South Beach, but thats about where the story ends. The hotel has a new wing that opened that we were placed in. The room looked brand new, smelled like fresh paint, and was very clean in that regards. But some poor choices in layout. Like why put the sink in the main […] room, and not in the bathroom? Bad layout. The roof pool was not open yet, and the existing ground floor pool was like a tepid bathtub. Our room had a problem with lack of hot water in the shower, probably from the new shower knob not working. We changed rooms, but the staff was surly and unfriendly and annoyed that we would dare to complain. The lobby is tiny and just a bunch of couches. Nothing useful going on here. The only time anyone in the hotel hung out together is during the free happy hour drinks, when the line at the bar runs 10 people deep. Oh, and they only give you "select" choices for drinks--their selection. The hotel is a couple blocks from the beach, and there is free beach chairs included. The WIFI in the hotel is spotty. I dont think i would pay what i did for this hotel again, for a little more you could stay at another hotel nearby and get better service and a better experience. "Not 4-star hotel; Never again!!"
I was not happy the moment i walked in and spoke with someone from the concierge desk. I knew then, that I did not want to stay there, but I was not able to move my reservation anywhere else. When we walked into the nicely decorated and furnished, but very small room (studio), I noticed a hair ball on the shower floor (which was cracked; I could have […] re-grouted it better myself). I called for someone to clean it, and they never came… later on that evening (about 5 hours later) I called and two women came by. Thank goodness I brought my Lysol spray and wipes with me, because I had to clean out the shower and bathroom floors myself to ensure a clean space (the hair ball was moved from one side of the shower to the other). Not quite sure how housekeeping cleans, but clearly they don’t. Even the floors were dirty, I found that out the next day when I wiped the floor with a towel, cleaning up a small mess. Housekeeping never came the next day to clean our room, so I figured they just don’t clean until you check out or request to have the room cleaned. The pool area and the chairs on the front lawn were a nice addition. The construction out front was an eyesore. I will never stay here again, and suggest another hotel if you are going to pay 4-star prices, this hotel was more like a 3-star based on the overall service. I feel like i wasted my money. There was no free Wifi service in the room and the hotel's landline didn't work. The front desk said this was due to the room being recently renovated. No one had obviously inspected the studio room, and if should not have been rented out. Check-in took 1/2 an hour (I booked the room 2 hours before arriving at the property. The rate doesn't include […] the $34 bucks/day you'll need for valet parking. A positive: The property's within walking distance of the beach, but you're about 15 minutes away from the nightlife on South Beach. (Lots of clubs are located on Washington between 5th and 15th Street) Hotel consist of three separate buildings, so booking a room in the buildings with the check in and pool may be better than my experience. They hv two separate buidings for different amenities. Their wash basin is separate from their toilet in the rooms. They charge the same for their suites, studios and regular rooms! "Overall nice hotel with a few flaws"
Roadwork in front of hotel – bad first impression. Hotel consists of several buildings. Front desk person very nice and upgraded us to 1 bedroom suite. Elevator to get upstairs very tiny and slow. Room had large living area w/ kitchenette, dining table, nice features/furniture, large bedroom. Tried to use bathroom and noticed there was dried urine covering […] the toilet seat. Called front desk to let them know but they didn't send anyone to clean it. Also found all the door knobs to be not only dirty but have crust on them. Disappointing since this is normally a very pricey hotel - I got a big discount when I booked on Hotels.com. Bed was hard as a rock - I have no idea what kind of mattress it was but it didn't give when you laid on it - like sleeping on floor. Bedroom warmest room of the suite because I kept waking up hot until the air came back on again. Tried to catch the continental b-fast served poolside until 11 a.m., but they were already putting it away so I can't vouch for all that was offered. I did grab some granola cereal, coffee, fruit, and toast. Pool looked very tiny and shady, I doubt you can catch much sun there at any time. Took advantage of the free beach chairs, but had to check out and drive there because hotel is located on 20th, while beach area is between 17th and 18th. Also, valet charges another night at 1 p.m. On beach couldn't find the stand because it wasn’t marked. It was a decent hotel but I would not pay full price they charge. South beach it's a tourist trap. You're showing one picture and an you end up in a very different place, it's worst than being in a third world country . They charge you for breathing. if you're a teenager I guess it's the place to be, or if you want to spend at least $500 per night just for the room, everything else it's deplorable.Avis véridique Expedia

"Nice hotel, horrible neighborhood construction"
Nice hotel. Pool area and rooms were very nice. The breakfast could be better. Toast, deli meats, fruit and cereal are not my idea of a 4 star hotel's breakfast. The location was perfect for our event at the Miami convention center and the walk to the beach and main strip is very short. My main complaint was the construction work on the main street […] in front of the hotel. It was loud if you were staying in one of the front rooms. It was also a nusance to walk around. Lastly, the couple of blocks right around the hotel were a little sketchy and dillapidated. We do offer continental breakfast by the pool. The location of our property is definitely prime. We are in the middle of all of the action, within walking distance to it all. I apologize for the construction work that is currently going on outside the hotel. There are positive changes being made, and it will be back to normal and better then ever! The area of which Riviera is located is not sketchy. There is just several different construction areas at the moment which makes it looks rugged. We hope to have you stay with us again!

This felt more like a three star hotel. I also had the impression this was a beach hotel but they didn't say that they have a section of beach but you have to walk two blocks to get there. There was a ton of construction going on which didn't much bother me because I had to get up early anyway but I did hear some loud activity at 7:30 which I felt was […] a bit early for a hotel (most of the construction was due to work being done at the hotel). "Great Room, Service, Amenities for the Price"
We stayed at the Riviera Suites 3 nights and were extremely happy; it was my favorite over the Richmond and Edgewater. The room was a nice size and very clean with good quality furnishings, very comfortable mattress, nice pillows and linens. The décor of the common areas and rooms were also great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I was trying […] to keep track of names of everyone but it was everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff! They all acted like they knew us personally and were extremely nice to our talkative 3yo. For the price the amenities and quality was excellent: free airport shuttle, great breakfast (fruit, french toast, cereal, eggs, pastries) beach towels /chairs, great pool area, and a daily happy hour within blocks of the beach and the shops and restaurants! Negatives: You get vouchers for beach chairs but must pay an extra $15 for an umbrella (ridiculous since the chairs, pads, and umbrella were all in poor shape and for $10 you could buy an umbrella to use all week). You do have to walk about 3 blocks to get to the beach from hotel. We walked everywhere anyway so the walk was not an issue for us. We stayed in the studio rooms so our rooms were in a building across the street from the pool and breakfast, an inconvenience worsened by the massive construction outside. However once inside we could not hear it at all. Overall for the price we paid, $88 per night, it was my top pick with extremely nice rooms, staff, and amenities.
