Chambre petite mais propre. Hotel bien situé à proximité du centro historico et du metro. Personnel peu souriant.

Bon hôtel bien situe près des beaux arts et zocalo, assez calme pour sa situation, demander une chambre donnant derrière. Chambre confortable, salle de bains, tv, wifi, eau potable.

Proche du centre historique mais le service peut s'améliorer

This hotel was in a great location and you can't beat the price. The front desk staff were not very friendly and it was hard to get good customer service with a smile. But definitely worth the money for the cleanliness and convenience.

The room was small but comfortable. The desk area and free wifi were a plus. The bed was very firm but that is better than being to soft as is the case in many hotels. The staff was helpful. The neighbourhood was reasonably safe and had many restaurant options and only a short walk to Belles Artes. We stayed 2 nights. The staff is friendly but the room was pretty small and I could hear what the person next door was saying. The room was clean. On the last day( after check out) they let us keep our luggage there for the remainer of the day so that we could enjoy the city for a little longer.

I stayed in the hotel Marlowe for 5 nights. This is an excellent hotel located about 20 minute walk to Zocalo. Subway is about 10 minute walk. I liked it a lot and would certainly stay here again. The only small annoyance was that the card keys did stop working 3-4 times.

This hotel was very well situated and within walking distance of Bellas Artes, El Zocalo, museums, and China Town....great bakery names "Ideal" is only a few blocks up from the hotel. The buttet breakfast was good for the price, but come down at about 0900 and there will be more food than if you come down between 0730 and 0800. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. It is within 2 blocks of Palacio Belles Artes and 6 blocks of Zocalo. The only complaint I really have is that the beds were rock hard. Hotel Marlowe is a great place. Even though a few staff are unfriendly, in general they ge tthe job done. The price is fantastic for the middle of a metropolitan city! Right near the Alameda, and a nice walk ( along the pedestrian only street) to the Zocalo. Safe, clean, and central! I'd totally stay here again! I had a very short one-night stay at Hotel Marlowe. The hotel was just fine. The lobby was lovely, the dining room upstairs was open until 11 pm, and they served a wonderful meal. When I checked in I asked how early I would need to leave to get to the airport the next morning. They said it would take approximately 30 minutes to get to the airport. Since […] my flight was very early it only took 15 minutes. Also at check-in, the receptionist offered a wake up call. He also said if I called about 5 minutes before I left the room he would have a taxi waiting for me. The room was not the fanciest, but the price was excellent. There was a purified water faucet in the bathroom. The location is just a couple of blocks from Belles Artes and near to the Zocalo. My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights between Christmas and New Years. We liked that this hotel was super close to the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Alameda Central Park, many restaurants and shops and the Zocalo. Solid hotel, w free wifi and all. No ac but perfect winter hotel. Good service and great great location. Bfast was a lil poor but u can eat outside.

Booked and stayed September then stayed again twice more in October. Previous reviews on other websites researched overall very accurate with the only significant negative depending on the season being the lack of air conditioning, although most hotels in Mexico City in this price range do not have air conditioning. Ceiling fan was enough for the time […] of the year visited. The rooms were spotless and supplied with fresh linen whenever required. The location is perfect for those who like to get away from the more sterile and also crowded tourist locations, but still close enough to access the metro and within walking distance to shops and major sights. Wifi included and always worked - a must for many travellers these day. The worst hotel service. I paid for check in at 1:00 and did not get my room untill 3:00. That change my plans for the day Employees not friendly at all. No a/c rooms are dark for the light not bright if you are a reader good luck. It is on a good location thats the only possitive thing

The location is very convenient for walking to all the sites in the central neighborhood. It is only a block from major shopping areas and a couple of blocks from Belles Artes. We attended the ballet and felt fairly safe walking home after the performance. The room is small but very clean . Good, clean, friendly hotel in Centro Historico part of Mexico City. One block south of Alameda Central give this hotel a great location. Independicia Ave isn't the greatest of immediate locations for the hotel but overall the location is very good. The hotel's array of staff is helpful and friendly. Very cheap place, the restaurant is horrible but you are right in the middle of the city. The staff are very friendly but the room was very dark. However good value for what I paid for.

Fantastic Location, great european breakfast, very high standard of comfort. I have stayed in many hotels in Mexico City, this was the best one in its price class by far. A lovely hotel.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located in the historic downtown of Mexico City. However, the rooms do not have air conditioning and so it gets very warm when the weather is hot. Staff could be friendlier. Good value for the price paid.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Hotel Marlowe- attractive, clean edifice and lobby, friendly attendants. The room was on the small side, but the sheets were clean and the shower was hot. Overall the hotel was fine. The front desk staff was unhelpful and rude. Not sure if it's because many foreigners stay there but I've stayed in lots of other Mexican hotels and the staff is always very courteous and willing to help. Their taxi stand was SUPER expensive - better to call your own cab. The room itself was always clean - my issues were: […] no 3-pronged electrical outlet, and then there was only 1 full-powered outlet - so I either watched t.v. or worked on my computer! Hey this hotel is inexpensive and in a good location if bars and restaurants are your thing. THe only draw back is that the property offers no AC.

The Marlowe offers attractive rooms, well maintained, clean, with adequate space, good storage capacity (closet and drawers)excellent shower in a great central location.

Me and two girlfriends stayed in the triple room for six nights. We had a very nice terraza off of the room. We had three twin beds and the room was HUGE!! The hotel staff was very nice and had a very delicious buffet every morning. Our rooms were cleaned and beddign chagned daily. The location of this hotel is perfect, very close to Zocalo, Bellas […] Artes, Parque Alameda and Garibaldi. The hotel provides safe taxi service as well. Me pareció muy bueno el hotel, la atención recibida y la limpieza en general. El cuarto es pequeño, pero si solo vas a dormir, está perfecto! Lo único que no me gustó fue la zona pues está detrás de Reforma y la colonia no está muy bonita, no es seguro para caminar por la noche. Durante el día no hay problema! Bien para una o dos noches

Muy céntrico, fuí de viaje de negocios y me fué muy práctica la ubicación del Hotel, lo único en negativo fué que no me pudieron proporcionar lo del servicio de planchado, todo lo demás muy bien.

Si tu intencion es conocer los sitios de interes: el zocalo, la plaza garibaldi, la torre latinoamericana, bellas artes, etc. es el lugar apropiado. El personal de servicio del hotel es muy honrado, lo unico malo es el sonido de la musica en la noche de los negocios (antros) a veces es molesta a la hora de dormir.

Sijainti ok seka siivous. Hotellin henkilokunta (poislukien siivoojat) hyvin arrogantteja. Palvelu ei pelannut lainkaan. Kysymyksiin vastataan olankohautuksella ja istualtaan! Ymmarran latinokulttuurin, mutta en voi suositella hotellia vaikka sijainti historiallisessa kaupunginosassa on hyva.

Estuvimos solo una noche, lo positivo es: muy limpio hotel, nos encantó la cercanía a todos los lugares turísticos del centro histórico. Puede el taxi dejarte en la puerta del hotel. atentos los empleados, muy buen precio. lo negativo: una cantina ruidosa enseguida, no sabemos porqué pero se escucha hasta toser a los de la habitación de junto. se escucha. […] si platican, si caminan, cuando se prende la llave del agua, cuando van al WC. jajaja qué ondas en un hotel no puede pasar eso. NO HAY PRIVACIDAD. SORRY. Si vas al centro del DF se necesita dormir tranquilamente. En el restaurant, los meseros son muy atentos y educados, solo que el buffet desayuno es muy escaso en variedad. pero lo califico de #4. las ensaladas están muy bien servidas. Gracias. El hotel esta muy sentrico, puedes salir tranquilamente por los alrededores a caminar sin peligro, la verdad esperaba menos del hotel y volveria a ir al mismo en al proxima vuelta al df
