Hotel was in a good location and easy to find. Near theater, mall, eating places and shopping. Overall was great.

It was a great stay. We stayed one night. Check in and out was very fast. Room was very clean and the staff was great! I was impressed by the suite style of the room with a kitchenette. My only semi-complaint was the TV didn't work. It wasn't a big deal though. I was only going to turn it on for a few minutes to pass the time until we left to go somewhere. […] Big blind hill at the entrance/exit. Best way to get out is to go the back way. WOW! We knew we were getting a studio/suite, but what a surprise to walk in to this gorgeous getaway! You might as well call it a full kitchen because it has all the ammenities: FULL size fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave & 2 burner cooktop! As well as a spacious bathroom and closet, work/dining table, flat screen TV & a VERY comfy bed. You didn't […] feel cramped at all! Candlwood Suites was perfect for our 2 night stay in Hot Springs AR. Close to Bathhouse row, Oak Lawn Race Track and choice of many restaurants. It was very clean and had a very courteous saff. We did arrive early and had to wait but it was worth the wait.

Very clean and friendly in a great location. Lots of nice little added touches. A bag of popcorn and a bowl to put it in can be found in the microwave. They did not have breakfast that I could see, (I carry my own breakfast) but they had a really great little pantry. This was a great stay for the price and I would stay here again.

When we arrived to check in the front desk was rude and not friendly at all. Once we got to our room we realized that it wasn't the correct room - we had booked a queen suite with a bedroom and separate living area with a pullout couch (we needed space for 3 adults) and the room we received was a small studio with a full side bed. And no pullout couch. […] When we went bck to the front desk to let them know that the room was wrong they told us that there wasn't anything they could do about it. Upon entering the hotel was all good, the service was great even the room. The check out was good until I asked had there been any extra charges for deposit and was told No! I paid by CC through hotels.com after leaving I checked my CC to find out I had been charged $95 by Candlewood which made me upset because they lied by saying no they didn't. After […] trying to discuss this with Jennifer; the desk clerk on that day April9 she was very rude so I had my CC company to contact her and the company stated she was not nice and refused to be of any help. Overall hotel is ok but need better people that know customer service and the meaning of good customer service as well as professional looking because Jennifer was not dressed for the job., had I seen her as I entered to check in, I probly wouldn't have Lisez la suite

NOT accommodating at all! We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children and were given a room with 1 queen bed. Other rooms were available but staff could not offer us another room since it went against their cancellation policies. We inquired about extra blankets and pillows to make pallets for our children but there were none available due to large […] school groups also staying at this location. Apparently they have not upgraded their computer system for daylight savings time so keys became deactivated an hour before they should have. Tried 3 times to get into room after front desk re-key our room, to no avail. Finally, the only pleasant young gentleman that we encountered during our stay walked us up to our room and let us in. Although we were aware this was an "Extended Stay" facility, we were a bit disappointed to learn there wasn't a "contenantal" breakfast available for the guests. There was an "honour system" cubbard where food items were available, with the items being a bit "pricey", there was a grocery store nearby for those who wanted to venture out. This was without a doubt, one of, if not THE best hotel experience I have ever had!! The room was awesome. I really liked the way they changed things up from an ordinary "rectangular" room. The staff was extremely professional and courteous. I was impressed by the fact that the front desk called my room within 15 minutes of arriving to assure everything […] was to my satisfaction. My wife and I have stayed at several different hotels in Hot Springs over our 25 years of marriage, and I can with confidence say that we have found THE ONE we will use again!! The guy who checked us in was proud to tell us he was a former cop and military and that several other employees were too. Fine. I asked for a top floor room and he accommodated us. However, I forgot to ask to be away from the elevator. He put us right across the hall from the beeping machine, so I went back down and asked if we could be moved. He happily […] complied. When we got to the room, the AC (typical unit below the window) was cranked (it was 67 outside) and the adjustments on the unit did not do anything. I called the front desk and he let me know that there was a thermostat on the wall but it would take about 15 minutes to adjust to whatever we set it to. I just wanted the darn thing off, so I found the off button. However, in the middle of the night it got stuffy and hot, so I had to turn it on, but it would never shut off and was *loud as heck*. We had a rough start, when we first arrived. There was a discrepency between what the website booked versus what the hotel reserved. We were very blessed to get an awesome young lady at the front desk. She fixed everything and the four days were some of the best that we had spent in Arkansas. Very nice hotel, everything was very clean from the front door to the toilet. Everthing worked as it should. Having a small kitchen was a big plus as was the hotel being close to the newer part of town. We will be staying here again.
