Villa Victoria - Nice

The room was comfortable, but there was no onsite parking, which we were warned about. What we were not warned about is that the parking is 2 1/2 blocks away. Walking the streets late at night did not seem like a very good idea. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the courtyard below.

I thought the hotel was an extremely good value The location, on Victor Hugo is excellent, with the 'old' city of Nice a 15 minute walk. Excellent location 5 minutes from the promenade and the sea - walking distance to the main restaurant areas. Hotel staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Room was very clean if somewhat dated - but beds changed every day. Buffet breakfast was very good with a superb range of food available and maintained throughout the morning.

Very comfortable, excellent position, charming, helpful co-operative staff. Had a minor problem with the plumbing which sprung a leak. One of those things, but the staff handled the whole problem exceedingly well. Would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed staying here. The garden was delightful and breakfast there the highlight of the day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and seemed able to supply everything from stamps to advice on how to work the coffee machine. We have already recommended this hotel to friends and would definitely stay there again if visiting Nice. We were pleased to have chosen this hotel and would use it again. It was minutes from the seafront and restaurants and shops. We only had breakfast once as it was expensive at 15 euros, but having it in the garden was greatand made it a treat worth peying for. Bathroom was clean with an excellent shower and the room was large with comfortable beds. […] The air con was poor so the room was stuffy. My wife and adult daughter stayed with me at this hotel for 3 nights. Overall we thought the hotel was good value. The best things were the customer service, the rear garden (delightful) and the convenient location. The only disappointment was that the wifi facility was very poor. Half the time the connection required logging back on every hour or so. […] The rest of the time the wifi system wasn't operational at all. The Villa Victoria is good hotel to use as a base for exploring Nice. It is a couple of hundred meters from the Promenade des Anglais in a part business and part residential area of the town. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town where there are some great restaurants, shops and teh flower market. A must is the Socca, a nicoise speciality. The […] buses are great value and make for easy travel to Monaco/Monte Carlo to the east and Antibes to the West; and great value at 1 euro no matter how far you travel. The hotel staff were friendly, the room nice and clean twoels every day. However, If you book the Villa Victoria be aware it does not have a bar and a room with the garden view is better. The location of the hotel was superb, just 10 mins walk to seafront and busy streets with bars and restaurants. Staff in the hotel were polite and helpful at all times. This hotel would be good for the lone traveller as the area was very quiet. It would have been good to eat breakfast in the hotel but is currently too expensive. ９９番のバスでアルザスロレーヌで降り、歩いて５～６分。ユーゴー通りに面していて分りやすいです。スタッフも英語でOK,。部屋もきれいでした。朝食のパンがおいしい。中庭はさほど広くはありませんが、オレンジの実がたわわになっていました。鉄道駅にも海岸にも１０分ほどの場所です。長距離バスターミナルには１５分ほどかかるので、重い荷物を持って歩くのはちょっとしんどいかもしれません。

Hotelli yllätti todella positiivisesti. Se sijaitsi rauhallisella ja viihtyisällä paikalla, mutta silti vain muutaman minuutin päässä rannasta ja ostospaikoista. Erittäin hyvä ja ystävällinen palvelu, siisti ja tilava huone. Jopa langaton netti toimi moitteettomasti!
