Nous occupions l'une des chambres à trois lits dont une partie se trouve en mezzanine, du coup deux télés et plus d'espace pour tous. Enfin la situation de l'hôtel est très intérréssante, quartier très vivant le soir pour budget sérré, petit déjeuner à la hauteur et accueil souriant.

Bonne impression générale en découvrant la chambre (propre, équipée) mais les matelas étaient très médiocres. Nous pouvions sentir les ressorts.De plus les murs étant très fins nous avons été un peu dérangé par les aller et venues dans le couloir. Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est un hôtel très correct, l'accueil est sympathique et le petit-déjeuner copieux. L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de Hyde Park et sur la ligne Centrale du métro. Il y a même le bus 390 direct qui circule même la nuit depuis Oxford Street.

en arrivant agréable surprise d'avoir une chambre surclassée !!!! 2 chambres, séjour, salle de bains dernier étage pour un couple : pas de bruit de voisins, pas trop de rue même si nous étions côté rue. comme beaucoup d'hôtels anglais l'entretien des chambres et bâtiment (peinture, moquettes etc..) est un peu laissé de côté, il ne faut pas être regardant... par contre draps fournis et serviettes, le tout propre. disposés sur les lits avec savons+shampooing. Franchement le personnel est sympa, l'endroit pour des touristes est impecc. Sans hésiter si je devais repartir sur Londres, je rependrai cet hôtel ou le conseiller à un couple /famille.

Accueil, très sympa, très pro mais impersonnel, cela ne va pas plus loin. Pas de mots d'accueil, pas de mot pour les visites. J'ai payé via internet, sans aucun problème. Il y a un gardien 24/24, donc pas de problème pour les clés. On est arrivés à 10h00 alors que chambres dispos à 14h00, ils ont gardé les sacs dans un local et quand on est revenus à ,18h00 les bagages étaient montés dans l'appartement, très sympa.....Situé dans une rue, très peu passante, mais qui donne devant un accès d'hôpital d'où partent les ambulances, et aussi un giratoire d'autobus.....donc c'est bruyant la nuit malgré le vitrage double. Ce n'est pas gênant plus que ça, mais tout de même cela fait un bruit de fond qui est tout de même là.....C'est appartement est très bien équipé, propre, les lits sont confortables, et il ne manque rien. Petit bémol, mais bon on fait avec, les SDB sont petites. Il y a des pubs juste à côté, un restaurant qui vend du pain juste en dessous à partir de 7h00, c'est pratique et très sympa. Le supermarché "Tesco" à 400 mètres n'est pas terrible, il faut aller à "Tesco" à côté de la station de métro de Saint Paul, les produits sont plus frais...! En résumé c'est un bon point de chute avec ses petits inconvénients. Mon avis sur cet hôtel est positif et correspond parfaitement au descriptif du site de "Hotels.com"

Hotel infame, très sale, rideaux très sales, couettes des lits maculés de taches en tout genre, rideau de douche sale, carrelage salle de bains sale; 4 eme étage sans ascenceur; personnel dépourvu de savoir vivre, aucun bonjour spontané;; hotel à éviter et meme a retirer de vos propositions, nous sommes restées 2 jours et avons été très décues.

the hotel is really well situated and five minutes walk from the Victoria train/subway station. It is not luxurious but it is clean and although the room we had was with shower and w.c. it was small. However, for one night it was okay and the boy at reception was helpfull. We missed breakfast so dont know how that was. No frills, no glitz, no glamour, no comfort, no private toilet or bathroom, no tea/coffee making facilities BUT only 4 mins walk from Victoria train station and 10 mins from Buckingham Palace so if you like the location, it's cheap. "84 stairs and no toilet paper"
Staff were pleasant enough and breakfast was adequate (white toast bread-good muesli). The poor guy nearly had a heart attack carrying my heavy bag up to the 4th floor. No person shoul be expected to pay for this service. I needed to study for a work briefing and the noise made by workmen outside of my room made this impossible. I should have been told about this on booking and i would have stayed at a Travel Lodge or similar where i would have at least known what to expect.. Parasta oli erinomainen sijainti lähellä kaikkia asemia Victorialla. Hotellin ympäristö oli myös miellyttävän rauhallinen keskeiseen sijaintiin nähden. Hotellihuone oli epäkäytännöllisen pitkän ja kapean mallinen, eikä siellä ollut tavaroille säilytystiloja. Peitteet vuoteissa olivat nuhjuiset vaikkakin lakanat kyllä puhtaat. Kylpyhuoneessa eikä muuallakaan ollut ripustuskoukkuja pyyhkeille vaan ne piti pitää huoneen puolella. Hissiä ei ollut. Skittent over alt...sengetøyet var også skittent.... Frokosten var direkte usmakelig/uappetittelig....Jeg bodde i underetasjen...mye støy...natt og dag... ikke opholdsrom, internett virket ikke på rommet...dårlig tilgang til toiletter...

Vi bodde på fjärde våningen utan hiss. Ok badrum men så fort någon i hotellet använde kranen eller toaletten dönade det i rören en lång stund efter. Svårt att sova sammanhängande på grund av detta. Hotellets läge var bra.Nära till Victoria station...bra kvarter.Rummen var mycket små enkla.extremt skitigt,krossat fönster på vårt rum som låg en våning ned....lagat med tejp..så dragigt...gick inte att dra för gardin,direkt insyn från gatan.Hårda sängar.Extremt mycket svartmögel på toaletten som då låg i korridoren som delades på 5 rum.2011-10-22

Payment was requested at checkin, and not as indicated on hotels.com. Charge was also requested for WiFi (1 GBP / hr) and luggage service (1 GBP / pc). Otherwise an OK experience at the hotel, facilities a bit worn down.
"Hotel Jubilee, Nähe Victoria-Station, London"
Zimmer Nr. 2 im Untergeschoß. Großes Fenster zu einem Abgang der bis ca. 2.00 Uhr hell erleuchtet war. Es war deshalb im Zimmer bis weit nach Mitternacht sehr hell. Eine Übergardine fehlte. Die untere Hälfte des Fensters bestand aus gekippten Glasstreifen die sich aber nicht schließen ließen. Aus diesem Grund war es auch relativ laut und die Gardine […] vorm Fenster schwarz vor Dreck. Im Zimmer befanden sich 1 normales Bett, direkt unter dem Fenster mit einer Tagesdecke sehr schmutzig und mit Blutflecken. Das 2. Bett war ca. 150 breit mit einer ebenfalls schmutzigen Tagesdecke. Die Bettwäsche sowie die Handtücher waren aber sauber. Die gemeinsam mit zwei weiteren Zimmern zu benutzende Dusche mit Toilette war winzig und immer feucht. Alle Fliesenfugen waren verschimmelt. Auch an der Decke befand sich Schimmel. Die Entlüftung über einen sehr kleinen elektrischen Abzug war unzureichend. Sogar das Toilettenpapier war feucht. Wir haben hier nicht geduscht Wir wollten das Zimmer gegen ein besseres tauschen und den Mehrpreis bezahlen. Das war aber leider nicht möglich, weil das Hotel ausgebucht war. Also mußten wir hier übernachten. Zum Erstaunen gab es aber ein anständiges Frühstück. Wir würden das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen, weil es sehr an der Sauberkeit mangelt. Lisez la suite

Ett prisvärt alternativ för den som vill se London utan att lägga lejonparten på ett rum. Funktionellt och helt ok till en mycket rimligt kostnad. Utmärkta kommunikationer med både buss å tunnelbana för att snabbt komma in til centrum.

"Tæt på Victoria = tæt på Gatwick"
Jeg valgte hotellet ud fra dets placering tæt på Victoria (så jeg hurtigt kunne komme til og fra Gatwick). Det ligger helt perfekt - 5 minutter fra stationen. Man får ellers hvad man betaler for. Ikke den bedste service i verden og ikke det flotteste værelse, men det er helt ok. Jeg var alligevel ikke i London for at sidde på hotellet. Det eneste jeg […] er ærgerlig over ved Jubilee er, at de ikke skifter håndklæder hver dag - eller i hvert fald giver en valget om et nyt håndklæde fx at man fx smider det på gulvet (især fordi der ikke er noget håndklæde til at tørre hænder i - kun badehåndklæde). "Nice bed & breakfast"
I stayed for 5 days at Jubilee and liked it a lot. I didn't really stay in much as I'm an avid tourist and spent all day long outside, but the hours I used to rest and the nights were just fine. It is an old hotel, but it's pretty good given that fact. The breakfast is very basic, but then again, it's included and does its job. They have decent wi-fi […] internet, which I used a lot to phone my country and do my research before going out. Cable TV, also a pleasant surprise. It's really really near the Victoria railway station and the Apollo Theather (where "Wicked" is playing!). Just don't go for the top floors if you have many heavy luggage: the stairs are quite narrow and tricky to step carrying weight. The people at the reception could be more easy-going - they didn't seem very patient or happy to be taking in guests (except for one guy, thnak God for him). I was particularly stressed about the cleaning services, as they left the room doors wide open while cleaning 2 or 3 rooms at the same time: bad character guests could freely roam into rooms if they wanted to get something. So yeah, I locked my luggage and that was fine. Nothing happened though, it was just a bad impression, the open doors. All in all, very practical, clean and nice. Lisez la suite

Typisk charmerende hvid London bygning i kvarter tæt på Buckingham Palace og nabo til hus, hvor Winston Churchill har boet. Hotel drives af service minded indisk familie, men som sørger for helt traditionelle engelske måder og niveauer af morgenmad, indretning osv. Ganske fint og hyggeligt sted til prisen. Jättecentralt hotell till kanonpris. Ingen lyx men rent och bekvämt. Receptionen öppen 24 timmar. 10 min. gångväg från Victoria station. Lite murrigt med heltäckningsmattor och dragiga fönster men prisvärt.

The location is great - close to downtown and quiet neighborhood. The hotel's standard is roughly equivalent to the price. But there is dust in different places in the room, the beds are hard and worn and there was not even a hook you could hang your towel on. "Cheap - but not worth it!"
The hotel looked alright from the outside, but the room we had was not nice at all. The window was broken so the bed by the window was really cold. The bed itself was hard and not comfortable to lay on. The floors made sounds when you walked on surten areas. The shared bathrooms were the worst parted. Helt okej hotell. Billigt och utmärkt läge, precis bakom Victoria station. Dock inget fungerande internet och aningen slitsamt att släpa med sig väskan 85 trappsteg upp för trappan (hade rum på 4:e våningen), men så är det ju på många engelska små hotell :-) Jag kan absolut tänka mig bo här igen.
