It started with the situation that the Bathroom was outside the room (attention to the type of the room), but the it was solved. Excellent place to stay with your Honey. Wonderful view ad private beach. OPs, just 1,8 km from Manly Beach. I recommend it. But do not come alone (like me), neither business.

Scenery here is amazing. Room very small, can easily hear conversations in adjoining rooms, bathroom that is along the outdoor verandah and up rickety stairs not great, odour coming from below the stairs revolting. Strange place but may be good for some. Probably best for work team build retreat.

Remarkable I've never been to this place before. You feel like you're a million miles from the city, but it's just 5 minutes from Manly centre. The service is warm and very accommodating, the restaurant is excellent, and the bed extraordinarily comfortable. But the best feature are the gorgeous views and the tranquility. Note: this is not a convenient […] place to stay if you're going to be in-and-out constantly. The cabins/rooms are far from reception, and they provide a little van to shuttle you back and forth. The hotel is of a high standard and the service excellent. Location is fantastic right on Sydney Harbour, with many great walks to be had (take your comfortable shoes). The Quarantine Station Museum is well worth visiting. A great place to enjoy the harbour without the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we absolutely love it. It's perfect for a weekend away without having to drive to far. So peaceful and quiet yet less than 10 mins from Manly. The rooms are excellent and this time we were lucky enough to get a room closer to the water with water views. Highly recommended.

Thanks to the QStation, incredibly friendly staff who are very happy to work there, really interesting history and our rooms were A+ in terms of cleanliness, comfort and modern. Bed beautifully comfortable and white white sheets. Absolutely perfect, could have stayed much longer. A little bit out of the way to drive in there, have your car parked and […] then walk or be driven to your room and a bit of a hassle if you want to come and go a bit but we didn't really mind. Loved this hotel. First, the service and staff were excellent. Second, the on-site restaurant and breakfast place were above average. Third, the historical site and tours were very good. But above all else, this place was incredibly relaxing and comfortable while still being only a short shuttle and ferry ride away from all that Sydney has to offer. […] I will recommend this place to any one who is traveling to Australia in the future. Q Station is the Quarantine Station operated in Sydney from1828 to 1984. It is now converted into a hotel and conference centre. It is a treasured historical site and the buildings are preserved to its original appearance. I enjoyed the learning experience as I read the history of the Q Station and saw the exhibits on the site. The ocean view is spectacular […] and it is located close to Manly beach. As I gazed out of my room, the beauty of Sydney Harbour was before me. There was no hustle and bustle, just a stillness and calm. I may have been the only person there. After discovering the historic site the previous night on the ghost tour the only thing I was interested in now was relaxing and breakfast. Both of these were easily achieved. This is […] the perfect place for people to relax and enjoy history in beautiful Manly but possibly not the best place if you're after night-life and lots of people. Love staying at this location, away from the hum drum of Manly and yet close enough to enjoy if needbe. Accomodation is brilliant and service excellent. We enjoyed our dinners in the boiler station resturant this time round and found the food was superb. Will be back for sure.

We only stayed 2 nights as we had a planned event in Sydney so we are sorry we didn't get to explore the beautiful surroundings. We definitely will go back there to do just that. The full buffet style breakfast was superb, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The shuttle bus service to and fro is excellent. The only drawback is that […] there is no little fridge in the room (important in summer for cool drinks) and that you have to boil the kettle on the floor as both power points are low to the ground (which we found out through other guest and should have been told about on arrival). Maybe if a fridge in every room is to expensive, a little table could be provided for the kettle and coffee and tea). At first we didn't like the idea of having no ensuite but because of the beautiful carpetted verandah's it was no problem. All in all very good value for money and I definitely will be back to explore all it has to offer. Lisez la suite

The Q station is overall a lovely place to stay at - yes there were some issues. I guess the main issue is getting in and out of the venue. I find it very unnecessary and I am not too sure why, they have a security gate that you have to buzz in every time in order to be allowed past. This was especially annoying when you were in a cab and they would […] never answer. On one occasion, they didnt answer AT all and we had to get out of the cab and walk the ten minutes down to our room in the dark. I was looking forward to the breakfast as it had good reviews on here but it was very disappointing. The staff were pretty rude and didnt want to be there. We also had issues on our last day with housekeeping barging in at 9am in the morning. Not sure why - procedures at all other hotels clean the room after you check out. The complimentarty shuttle buses in to town very rarely ran and weren't much help. But all else was nice, the views, the rooms, were so pretty and a defin must see - but only stay when you get it cheap or half price as we did - otherwise I would have been pretty disappointed by their level or lack of service. It's the people that let the place down. I sent several emails to the place before I went and didnt even get a response half the time. Lisez la suite

While we enjoyed the location and views the Q Station seemed to lack a sense of interest or care in its guests. All enquires were answered but there was no friendliness or warmth. The Boiler Room is a bit overpriced and I really hate having to pay extra for a few vegetables, the food was fair. Great wine list but once again the the prices were a bit […] steep. Lisez la suite

Whilst we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Q Station (great scenery, relaxed vibe and holiday village feel), we were left a little disappointed with the standard of our room. First, no fridge in the room meant we couldnt store any water or other cold drinks which, considering the hotel is quite a way from Manly and doesnt have a convenience store […] or bar on site, was a bit inconvenient. Our garden room was fairly small (no sofa, only a bed and small desk) and the advertised queen bed turned out to be a double. Due to the building being heritage listed, the structure of the walls was obviously not to the latest standard - we could hear almost any noise coming from adjacent rooms - unfortunately the person in the room next door was quite a big snorer :) Other than that, the site is spectacular, you can easily spend a half day wandering through the surrounds and discovering the rich history of the Q station. I would still recommend it but probably wouldnt rate the accommodation as four stars (assume this is self rated), at least not the room we stayed in. Lisez la suite

Wow, what an amazing experience. This is truly a hidden wonder. Well maintained property and premises. Fantastic service, that is always warm and friendly and accomodating. The place has so much to offer. Room was comfortable. Food was fantastic, fresh and good quality. It is a great location, sort of like the country in the city. It is very private […] and quiet and not far from amenities. A great place for a private get away, perfect for couples, families and a great venue for conferences. Lisez la suite

객실 청결도 매우 좋습니다. 전용 화장실이 분리되어 있는데 불편합니다. 화장실 내부는 좋습니다. 국립공원 내부라 주차장도 분리되어 있는데 불편합니다. 직원들 얼굴에 웃음이 전혀 없습니다. (저희가 동양인들이라 그런듯) 맨리 와프 왕복 무료 셔틀이 있다는데 맨리에서 비오는데 40분 기다렸습니다. 이유를 물어보니 가끔 그런답니다. 주 고객이 시드니 거주 중장년층 고객인듯 합니다. 언어가 서툰 외국인이 투숙하기에는 비추입니다. 전망은 매우 좋습니다.

Nar vi kom dit regnade det och det kandes som om vi kommit till Shutter Island. Hotellet hade en institutional kansla och aven om vart hotelrum var rent och helt ok sa luktade det av sjukhus (tror deras sangklader tvattas pa sjukhuset i narheten). Vi bytte rum och nar solen kom fram sa blev stallet unikt och utsikten ar fantastisk. Vi ville prova nagot […] annorlunda och ar glada att vi bodde dar da det har sa mkt historia. Deras privata strand var super jamfort med den i Manly da det knappt var nagon dar. For er som vill ha vanlig hotelstandard och nara till barer och restauranger ar detta inte ert stalle. Men om man vill prova nagot nytt, ar en sucker for utsikter och gillar historia sa prova pa att bo har men ta med ett doftljus. Lisez la suite
