Hotel très calme. Cadre verdoyant, nos chambres en rez de jardin donnaient sur un cours d'eau. Possibilité de profiter du jardin sans vis à vis. Mini-réfrigérateur dans chaque chambre appréciable pour stocker boissons ou nourriture au frais. Petit déjeuner varié et très correct.

l'hotel est très bien équipé avec une piscine intérieure et extérieure très agréable.le petit déjeuner est très copieux. l'hotel est calme, un peu en dehors de Stowe, plus proche de la station de ski que du centre ville mais cela ne nuit pas pour les déplacements si on est motorisé. l'endroit est idéal pour les marches, balades à vélo et le golf de Stowe est de toute beauté pour les amateurs.

Bénéficiant d'une situation idéale près de l'aéroport, à Essex Junction, l'établissement Handy Suites - Essex se trouve tout près de Links at Lang Farm Course. Les sites University of Vermont et Church Street se trouvent également à proximité.

J'ai été étonné de voir la chambre quand je suis entrée ! Wow! C'était un petit appartement, comprenant une cuisinière complete, une table de repas, un gros salon (2 gros sofa-lit et une télé) et surtout la grande chambre qui était dans une pièce séparée!! Par contre, le lit n'était vraiment pas confortable , mal de dos les 3 jours que j'y suis restée […] ! De plus, la suite n'a AUCUNE insonorisation.... Toute le temps que nous étions présents dans la chambre nous entendions les chambreurs du haut marcher, nous entendions aussi la télévision des voisins, et même avant le coucher nous n'arrivions pas a dormir en raison du chaotage du haut (on dirait qu'il déplacait des meubles sans cesse!!). Je ne suis pas aller a la piscine, mais mon copain m'a dit qu'elle était très blanche (peut-être en raison qu'ils mettent trop de chlore!) Bref, la sutie est très grande, l'emplacement de l'hotel est bien, a proximité de tout si vous êtes en voiture, la femme à l'entrée est très très gentille et amicale avec tout le monde!! personnel très accueillant, appartement très spacieux et bien équipé, seul bémol est l'insonorisation des appartements ou plutôt l'abcence d'insonorisation, nous nous sommes plaint plusieurs fois du bruit et des cris de la chambre au-dessus de la nôtre. il y avait plusieurs enfants qui couraient, sautaient et criaient jusqu'à tard le soir et tôt le […] matin. Bonjour! Suite à notre séjour, le seul inconvénient que nous avons trouvé est au niveau de l'insonorisation. Merçi et bonne journée.

Quelle belle surprise que cet hotel. Depuis 2004, donc assez récent . Le déjeuner que l'on peut amener dans les chambres est compris et consite de toasts, muffins, fruits, jus ,café ..un bon continental quoi !!!! Mais c'est la grandeur des pièces qui m'a séduite..c'est immense...même un porte manteaux à l'entrée de la suite. Je recommande cet hotel […] à tous...bien mieux que le Hampton Inn et le Green Mountain Suites dont j'avais l'habitude avant. aucun reproche concernant la propreté,l'espace des suites. un bémol notre chambre n'avait pas un lit extrêmement confortable. de plus l'éclairage est vraiment déficient. le déjeuner très minime et très" américain "mais je le recommande.
"Good quality price"
Although the place is not brand new and the furniture is a little dated, the place was clean and it was nice to have a full kitchen for this low price. It is located 5 min. outside downtown Burlington.

J'ai été très surprise du produit pour le prix : notre chambre était un petit appartement : cuisine avec cuisinière, micro-onde, lave-vaiselle et équipée pour cuisiner, petit salon et grande chambre à part. Balcon. C'était très propre et le lit confortable. Nous y retournerons c'est sûr.

the manager Christina was very kind and helpful, great atmosphere, 1 st room assigned was a smoking...on 4 th floor could not stand the smell , she was nice enough to tranfer us into a non smoking . very large room and immense walk in closet , will come back again ! great value

The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and stocked but my friends room was not. The staff was very willing to remedy the situation. Pricing was great for this room. The bed was uncomfortable though. I really enjoyed the fact that this was a pet friendly hotel, even with larger dogs. I would stay again.

"Love the Suite!"
Hotel was just what we needed! The suite was great, with a full kitchen, living room and bedroom! The closet in the bedroom was bigger than ALL of the closets in my entire house! We will stay here again and will definitely recommend to others! Thanks Handy Suites!

"Don't plan on a good nights sleep"
I was shocked at how decent the rooms were considering the price of the hotel. The room was comfy, large, and clean. They definitely need to do some repairs, the handle on the toilet was broke, the light switch on the bedroom lamp was broke, the heater registers were all rust, and there was dark brown splatter all over the back of the bathroom door. […] The downside of this hotel, it is noisy. The first night i was there i was woke up at 11pm by a loud banging outside my window, turned out to be a glider bench someone was rocking so hard the legs were slmming of the asphalt. The next night i was woken up at 5am by barking and howling dogs!! When i finally called the front desk the lady sound annoyed that i called. She was also working the front desk when my friends and i checked in and was extremely rude to my friend who is hearing impaired. Beware! This place allows dogs, so i reccomend a different place if you don't have pets of your own. My friends were also woken up by barking and howling dogs at 1am! "Excellence is excellence"
I will stay no place else in the Burlington area but this Motel/Hotel.It is excellent in every way. Absolutely a full size kitchen and after being on the road for the past 17 days, what a pleasure this was.

My young son wears glasses. As we took the first step onto the elevator the fell off. And of course the lens popped out and again of course it fell down the elevator shaft. Within the hour his lens was sitting on the table. The room needed a paint job but other than that we couldnt have been happier.

What a great place! Huge suite with a nice kitchen, fridge, granite counters and a dishwasher (who wasn't ME). Bathroom was roomy and very clean. The pool with the waterslide was a hit with our 7-year-old daughter. Nice bagel cafe across the street for morning coffee and pastries, and lots of shopping within a 10 mile radius. We stayed at handy suits last year our son has wrestling meets and the states are held in Essex. So its very close to the school. The kids love the pool. And the room's are very large. The pull out couch isn't very comfortable they could use updating but for the price I would recommend it to others.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful was excellent. The room was missing a screen which was a small concern because the room was warm. The dishwasher was not turned on after the last set of renters was there but that was no big deal to us we just put it on when we left.

We found this hotel close to Burlington and convenient to my son's college. Was disappointed with the amenities in the room. My son slept on the sleeper sofa and only had one blanket, no extra pillows. There were no spoons in the kitchen and scant dishes. The hotel breakfast was terrible but the bagel place across the road was excellent. "Handy Suites - Essex Jnct near Burlington"
Quiet, clean, nicely maintained, and very reasonably priced. It is about 10 minutes drive from downtown Burlinton and UVM. My suite was huge, with a full kitchen (even a dishwasher!). Free continental breakfast was pretty basic, but if I wanted a fancy breakfast, I'd go to a restaurant. Free cable internet in the room.

Good place to stay if you need a room separated from living space by a door - eg little kiddos who go to bed earlier than you do. The room above us was very loud pretty much all night long. It sounded like people were running around up there. Luckily we travel with a sound machine and that drowned out a good proportion of the noise. There is also a […] very strange/seedy vibe at the hotel. It kind of feels a little bit like a brothel with the late night noise and clientele. A lot of single men seem to stay there as well as a few travelers and people with kids. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay for a couple of nights it's ok... bring a sound machine! The one night my husband and I spent at that hotel left a rather good impression, although we found the bed headboard needing dusting., and the dining-room table in need of light repairs to stabilize it. The staff was pleasant and helpful .!

"Always Pleasant"
Staff at the Handy Suites are always pleasant and helpful. Rooms are spacious and always clean. This is our 3rd time staying. Breakfast could be improved upon - really nothing of interest. We have had much better even for a continental breakfast. Overall Handy Suites is in a good location for us for shopping, everything is close by. We would come again […] and recommend it to a friend. "Handy Suites - Essex Junction, VT"
Needed to find an inexpensive alternative to the Sheraton for a UVM orientation. This hotel was half the "special UVM rate" at the Sheraton. For the price, this was an excellent value. One of the biggest rooms I've ever stayed at. Similar in size to a small apartment! Very clean and quiet.
I love this hotel.. you can't beat the price and the location is great. I love staying in a mini apartment instead of a room with just two beds. Also my kids had a blast in the pool with the slide and I would over all recommend this hotel if you are going to Burlington!

We stayed at the Handy Suites in Essex March 2-4, 2012 with our two young children. They had a ball playing in the pool. The amount of space we had was more than enough. There was a full, eat-in kitchen, large living room and big bedroom with walk-in closet. The kids slept on the pull-out couch in the living room. The bed wasn't very comfortable but […] the kids didn't seem to mind it. The bed in the bedroom was fine. The pool could use some renovation. The areas where the metal came together around the pool were rusty and there weren't any signs about the depth of the water. The suite was big with full sized appliances. The kids LOVED the pool with water slide & the breakfast was sufficient for us (especially since it was free)! I would definitely stay there again.
