Room did not have sofa of any sort unlike what is written. There were ants in the bathroom, which in turn we had ants wherever we had food. Staff were nice, though there was no parking left at the hotel, considering we had two rooms booked you would think one spot may have been allocated ??. Room was very small but comfortable and very stylish. Couldnt […] hear any noise from surrounding clubs which wad good. Close to lots of food and bars which was also convenient. Lisez la suite
"Affordable hotel in Kings Cross"
The hotel was nothing special. Very small, but clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. Located right in the middle of Kings Cross neighborhood in Sydney conveniently located just around the corner from the train station. Great neighborhood if you are looking for nightlife.
"wow"
5star look for 3 star price..amazing will be back for sure
"Quest Potts Point - Close to Kings Cross Station"
The best thing about the apartment is its location with regards to Kings Cross Station. Very convenient to get around. The apartment has a microwave too which is useful.
"good location"
was a great hotel very nice room good location only downside would be that our room did not get cleaned one day and then the next day it got cleaned and it was a bit rushed bed wasn't made very good and rubbish still around. other than that I would stay there again was good
"Nice but buggy"
I was assigned an executive room in 356 and the minute I turned on the lights, I saw a cockroach. I screamed and immediately phone reception to change a room for me. While I was on hold, a second cockroach popped out. OMG! The receptionist apologized and immediately started to look for another room for me. They placed me in another room temporarily […] and told me that it's only available for tonight since someone else booked two connecting rooms the next night. I asked her to move in a room not on the same floor as the 3rd floor. But now that I've reflected, these cockroach probably traverse the whole building from floor to floor. In any case, they placed me in 354 (2 doors down from my original room). That room was nice and spacious, but again, I have this weird creepy feeling about these bugs. They told me that they will spray the room, but honestly, that won't do crap to these bugs. The whole hotel needs to be bombed with insectide and treated correctly (not on a room by room basis). In any case, I knew they couldn't do much in regards to switching rooms as the whole weekend was booked up. I just fested up and stayed there, but I felt that even tough the hotel was renovated, they need to treat the bug problems. Cockroaches are nasty and dirty. I went onto the balcony the 2nd night (located on the 4th floor) and found another cockroach right in front of the door. Sigh! Anyway, needless to say, the hotel was affordable and located in Kings Cross (very convenient to a lot of places) but with the bugs crawling around, I don't think I'll stay there again! The customer service (front desk) did what they could in their limited power to accommodate me, but couldn't do much because of the Easter weekend, their bosses were away. A bit disappointed customer. Lisez la suite
"Disappointed"
My experience with quest Potts point was unfortunately a very disappointing one, apart from the friendly front desk, the hotel was way below my expectations. For a start, the rooms were extremely small. We are a small family and felt that we were being squeezed in the tiny room Second,Our room was facing a wall which was really depressing. Third, […] the sink in the bathroom looks like it was stolen from a doll house, it was so small that water spilled on the floor when you wash your hand or face, also the toilet can use a bit of scrub and bleach. Also, better toilet seat quality is much needed . Fourth, and that for me was the worst of all, are cockroaches! Yup thats right we stayed for three nights and saw four cockroaches: one on the kitchen counter , one under the fridge, one in the bathroom and finally like a cherry on a cake, one on a bathroom towel . These four points could be solved directly by the hotel management, thus improving the hotel standards and thus resulting in more positive reviews and feedbacks. There is, however, a point worth mentioning for me, though it has nothing to do with the hotel management, and that is ; the location, I was unaware of the fact that the hotel was located on a red light district and that this street is still active to this day and so as a family with young kids we just felt that this was an inappropriate place to stay at despite location proximity to train station as well as restaurants and shops. It was very inconvenient with young ones specially that during morning times we encountered a few too friendly drunks/ junkies that approached us and that scared the kids a bit. Lisez la suite
"Cool"
Well, the size of the room was small (kept running into sharp edges) but my hubby & I were happy for the cozy feel (since we hadn't seen each other in months) and we had everything we needed - bed, bathroom (but only shower - no tub), seating, kitchenette, closet. If we were to return to Sydney, we'd choose a nicer neighborhood and a place with a larger […] room and a view, but we went with what we could afford this time. Customer service & housekeeping was friendly and took very good care of us and kept everything clean (even cleaned the dishes for us). The location was surrounded by grocery stores and restaurants and such, and at night, night clubs came alive, especially on the weekend (which we didn't care for). The hotel's in walking distance to the Opera House, Harbor Bridge, World Square, the ocean, parks, ferries, the Botanic Garden, etc. The subway station is right around the corner which can take you all over. So in other words, if you don't mind the small room and nightlife (and know how to watch your back), this is a good option for you. Lisez la suite
Rooms are tiny.
