Quality Inn & Suites Cameron Park - Cameron Park

We just wanted a place to sleep one night while we were in transit. I decided to try it after seeing the other reviews. This place is a low-quality motel. The bed was comfortable and the room looked clean, but it had a bad smell, like someone had smoked in it and they sprayed a cheap air freshener to cover it up. I won't be back.

Room and hotel was clean. Only knock was the very very small continental breakfast area.

This location definitely had the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a hotel. I slept like a champ! The bathroom left a bit to be desired. It appears they're in the middle of a remodel, and those are last on the list...

I've never been up in Cameron Park. I chose the Quality Inn as I've always been satisfied with them especially when going to a place I've never been to. The hotel staff were great. Friendly and informative of the surrounding area. This particular hotel was not new and showed its age. That aside, it was kept up well and I didn't have any problems. The […] only thing was the TV, the channels didn't all match the programing schedule. Plus didn't have any menu so you didn't know what was playing when it was playing. The room was quite comfortable and everything worked. Our only complaint is that the people above us were up at 3 AM taking showers and then walking on the very squeeky floors and we finally gave up and got up and left by 4:30 AM because we couldn't sleep with the noises coming from the floor above.

Wanted a more romantic stay in California Sierra wine country for Washington's Birthday weekend, but was unable to find a room closer to Plymouth. This hotel is very well kept, they allow pets and the price was so reasonable even for a holiday weekend. Rooms have refrigerators, micorwaves and coffee. What more could you ask for,

I had a great experience here - it had all the bells and whistles you could need, our king room was spacious and clean, with a modern efficient heater. It was cold winter so i didnt mind or miss that the pool and hot tub were not heated. Located next to lots of restraunts, groceries, and interesting little shops. I use this hotel every three months as a place to stay while on business. The service is great. The breakfast is much better than expected. The rooms are comfortable and have enough power service for computers etc. The only drawback on this trip was a "jiggle the handle" toilet and a TV remote that would not change channels unless you entered the specific […] ID. Was perfect stop on the way to tahoe,clean room needs new carpet other than that very comfortable.

I will never stay at a Quality Inn again. This place was a dump, the room had an inch of dust all over it, there was a broken down car parked out side our room door that was leaking radiator fluid and was up on jacks. there is a pile of use broken up furniture next to the pool. The backside of the hotel,next to the off ramp of the freeway looked like […] they are used by homeless people, the microwave in our room was broken. The only nice thing about this place is the lobby. Oh I requested extra towels never got them I had to go ask. When I pay the amount of money I had to pay for two nights I expect more. There is no Quality at the Quality Inn. I travel a lot and will never use this hotel chain again. Please if you are thinking about staying here reconsider and use your hard earned dollars where you will get what you pay for. The hotel is a little older. Rooms were tidy, but a bit run down. Beds were firm. I'd stay again if I ever had to spend another night in C.P., wouldn't go out of my way to visit. Staff were friendly.

This was a great value, if you're not looking for anything fancy. Air conditioner worked fine. Room was clean. Breakfast in the morning was not as advertised. Basic breads and cereal, but ran out of milk. No eggs as advertised. Small dining area, maybe 3 tables, so be prepared to just get your food and take back to your room.

We were very pleased with our room. It was quiet,clean and a coffee maker was provider.One of the most comfortable king size beds ever. The sink was very old & no plug. Everything else was alright.

I was really surprised at the quality of this hotel.The room was spacious, clean and had wonderful beds. Also, the continental breakfast had everything one could possibly want without the added expense. Would most defininately stay again.

For an inexpensive hotel it had every thing we needed. The bed was good, and had Breakfast

My room was very clean and spacious. The hotel staff was friendly and accomodating. All conveniences - microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc. Only negative was a slow-flushing toilet, but other than that no complaints. I would stay there again.

For the price we were very pleased... Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The A/C was a little loud but it worked great! They provide breakfast from 7am-11am and extra coffee and condiments were already in our room so we didn't have to ask for extra. We would definitley stay again.

The walls are paper thin....the rooms smell like a porn theater....the balcony outside the front door is unsafe...there is a 1 inch gap when you close the front door. Horrible

Stayed two nights at Quality Inn. Room was clean, heater working. The sink was a bit clogged, but overall was a nice and comfortable room. Breakfast was good and open till 11am on the weekend, so don't have to rush there early in the morning. Will stay there again.

We stayed one night at the Quality Inn on our way from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe, and were very satisfied. Our stay was excellent. The room had all the amenities one could want in a budget hotel. We had an excellent stay. A very good value for the money. We had plenty of COFFEE and PILLOWS. Thank you!!!

It was very cold outside. Inside was not much better. The heater barely worked. We had it on the entire time and still the room never got warm.

Overcharged for "Quality" of room payed for. Room was non-smoking, but 1-inch gap at bottom of door enabled cigarette fumes to enter as smokers were allowed to 'Do Their Thing' on the 2nd story balcony right outside the doors. And in order to get to the stairway, you had to go through the smoke. If you have the means to stay elsewhere, do it.

Do not be discouraged by the outside appearance of this hotel! The room itself is very clean with updated decor and the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. I wish I could buy that mattress and take it home with me. Has a fridge and microwave with a flat screen TV. The place could use a little fixing up (paint on the walls here and there) but was not bad at all. Clean, nice desk people, great place. I would stay there again.

Great for the money! refridgerator, microwave, coffee pot & 32" flat panel tv in the room was great! Continental breakfast choices were the best I have ever had! Only quirk was bathroom ceiling needs a little reconditioning & painting.

Well for starters our first room was near the storage room and when we entered, I heard a dripping sound. It turned out to be the air-conditioner. I called the front desk and he came to look at it. First he thought we could just use it like that as we were staying one night. I don't think so! So he volunteered to give us another room. This room had […] blankets with holes in it and the sheets were worn. The lobby had a broken air-conditioner and the breakfast area was hot and steamy. The carpets were soiled. The furniture was tattered. The bed was worn with springs popping through. The air conditioner was loud and inadequate. It was like having a 747 take off from your room every ten minutes. Their was mold in the room and both my wife and I had an allergic reaction. The shower was decent if you looked past the mold. This hotel was close to the casino that we wanted to visit and was the best price around. When I read the reviews of others some were good, some not so good. We found this hotel to be very friendly, clean and perfect for what we were looking for. Every time we go to this area's casino this will be our hotel of choice!
