Pour nous c'était le luxe! L'hotel est une succession de grandes maisons de 3 niveaux, chacun ayant sa terrasse privée avec vue sur le Golf et la végétation tropicale. Un vrai appartement décoré comme dans les magazines (entrée, cuisine américaine électro kitchen aid, grand salon)la baie vitrée donne accès à la terrasse privée. 2 salles de bain (tous les produits sont fournis:dentifrice gel douche shampoing après shampoing et lait hydratant) et une immense chambre. La piscine à côté de la réception est grande avec de multiples chaises longues et jacuzzi(les serviettes sont fournies). Le restaurant de l'hotel est très bon, le menu enfant est très bien).Le Spa et la salle de sport en haut de la réception sont très luxueux. Attention cependant, nous sommes à 20 min en voiture de Miami beach, et à côté de l'aéroport (mais on n'entend pas du tout les avions)

Nous y avons passé deux nuits au début de notre autotour. Hôtel calme, propre. Personnel sympathique et disponible. Petit-déjeuner complet. A proximité de l'US 1 pour rejoindre les principales attractions de Miami. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. A recommander.

NE PAS SE FIER AUX COMMENTAIRES PRECEDENTS l'hotel est génial les réceptionistes super accueillant et qui parlent francais (1sur3). Les chambres sont spacieuses et tres bien equipées. Les 2 jaccuzis sont au top! Certes il y a une taxe de séjours de 60$ non mentionnées mais a part sa tout était parfait. Hotel tres bien situé a 50 metres des bars et en meme temps l endroit est calme. Seul Hic des vacances lorsque vous louez une voiture bien faire attention au stationnement on ne peut quasiment se garer nul part les parcmètres proposent une durée de stationnement courte et si vous dépassez de 2min vous avez une amende a 90% je parle en connaissance de cause..(18$ a regler sous 1 semaine sinon 48$) des parkings payant et surveillés sont proposés mais 30$ minimum la journée...les fourrieres tournent 24h/24 et la facture s'élève a 300$ prenez garde! Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

Caractéristiques de l'établissement

Seul bémol lie a l'hôtel est connexion internet payante dans les chambres !!!! Autre bémol lie plus a Hotels.com est les frais que j'ai du paye en plus a latin de mon séjour. Frais qui j'aurais préféré qu'ils soient inclus dans le prix de la chambre.

Super bien placé sur ocean drive, plage tout près. chambres très confortables. Attention tout est en supplément: connexion Wifi, Parking, Pt Dej... On s'est vu facturer un film que nous n'avions pas visionné, ils n'ont pas discuté pour corriger la facture! Service plage fermé assez tot et facturé même si vous arrivez après. "Un hotel d'exception Z ocean hotel Crowne plaza"
Un hotel assez incroyable. Des chambres fabuleuses au décor moderne très bien équipées. Deux LCD, un système Bose, réveil radio, café nespresso, micro onde, 2 frigos etc. Seul hic, les chambres ne sont pas très spacieuses. Une terrasse privée sur le toit avec un jacuzzi, bains de soleil, frigo et un système bose externe où l'on branche un MP3. Les lits […] sont très confortables (comme dans les sofitels). La salle de bain est superbe, 2 lavabos et une grande douche. Manque peut etre une baignoire mais c'est pas indispensable non plus. La piscine est très agréable et assez peu fréquentée, elle est équipée de vitres dessous, on peut donc prendre des photos à partir du hall qui est en dessous. Nous avons trouvé cet hotel absolument génial, vraiment tout confort et cette terrasse privée avec jacuzzi c'est vraiment fantastique. C'est dommage que cet hotel ne soit pas en front de mer mais nous avions quand meme une vue latérale sur l'océan. L'emplacement est idéal au bout d'Ocean Drive. Enfin le bar et le restaurant étaient fermés, pas de petit déjeuner non plus et c'est bien dommage. En plus nous l'avons découvert une fois à l'hotel. Sinon rien à dire. This hotel really surprised me in level of comfort and style. I got a complementary upgrade to one of the city view balcony rooms and I will most likely try and stay in a similar room. The view was great and the jacuzzi in the personal balcony was a great feature. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is good, not far from Lincon road mall […] area and other good spots. They were up front here with the fees and I didn't recieve any "hidden" fees either so that was a nice touch conisdering all the other reviews I've read regarding other locations being sneaky with that. "South Beach Hot Spot"
Great place to stay, wonderful, kind, friendly staff. Helpful too. The only downside was the hidden "resort" fee we thought that was not cool to slide that one in you cannot argue the "resort fee" cause they deem it mandatory! Otherwise it was awesome
great hotel great service 2nd time staying there only 2 complaints, parking they only offer valet at $32.00 a night, and internet $14 a day if they correct that it would be awesome.

Spent 4 nights at a conference. Very helpful staff, room was very nice with large patio. Great shower and stocked room bar. Very slight indications of wear and tear, particularly banged up dark furniture and trim in halls - would be easy for the hotel to spend just a little to fix that up. The service was excellent. The room was beautiful (though a bit more compact than I thought it would be) and my fiance' and I LOVED the private jacuzzi on the roof! Except for the size, this beautiful penthouse suite totally exceeded my expectations!

We stayed at the Z for the second consecutive year and we loved it! Again! Very large rooms with lots of comforts including a great sound system to plug my ipod into (as opposed to a cheap clock radio), a cooler (fridge), microwave, gorgeous giant bathroom, amazing shower with great water pressure (made my girlfriend and her hair very happy). It is […] in a perfect location - right across the street from the ocean, right in between the crazy part of the Ocean Ave. strip and Lincoln Road. Try the BEST happy hour in SoBe for food and drinks. The $3 fish tacos were better than our $200 meal the night before at a typical SoBe steakhouse. Really! We are a family of 4 who had a rooftop suite at the Z for 8 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Not many hotels can offer your own stairway to heaven, in this case being the rooftop terrace with ocean view. Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff and for breakfast a French toast at the Front Porch that will blow your mind. given the reviews I had high expectations. my room had a 'sofa bed' that really wasn't a bed and that was the whole reason I booked this hotel over others...my spa suite had a spa overlooking a busy street, not something I ever used (another reason for booking the room)...so, very disappointed in the room/view. the staff was very nice and the restaurant […] was reasonably priced with good food....just not what I was expecting for the money. "Hip boutique hotel"

"An almost perfect stay"
The hotel was beautiful and we stayed in one of the rooftop terrace rooms, city view.. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, location was great and everything seemed to be very clean. We only called to the front desk a couple of times to have extra linens and pillow's brought up and we never really had to wait more than 10 minutes , which, in my […] book is pretty darned fast. Our only real hiccup came with the massage we had ordered. I had called a few days in advance to schedule a rooftop terrace a massage and specifically asked for 1 male and 1 female therapist..and asked how much it would be. I was told $100 for each for 1 hour ( I thought this was a little low based on most hotels so I really didn't think he was right even though I'd asked him to confirm and he did so). The appointed time came and went.. no therapists. about 20 minutes later I got a call from the front desk to see if we had forgotten about the massage and we discussed how it was supposed to be on our terrace and they agreed and offered an apology and asked if we'd like to still have it on the terrace or just go to the spa... we elected the spa so we didn't have to wait. The "spa" was really a tent by the pool.. we were greeted by 2 women. I will say however, that both my wife and I felt they were 2 of the best massages either of us ever had so all was quickly forgiven. We went to the diner downstairs for breakfast and were largely unimpressed.. I asked for extra crisp bacon and was delivered chewy cold bacon. I asked if they could bring me what I asked for and the waiter tossed me a new plate and took off. Chewy and cold again and never saw the waiter again. Even though we had a few minor aggravations we will likely stay there again...the friendliness of the front desk staff as well as the incredibly beautiful and clean rooms will definitely warrant a return trip. We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and it well met our expectations. It was centrally located to clubs, resturants, shopping and of course, the ocean. The staff was amazingly nice and helpful. They knew it was our honeymoon and they gave us a card with a free bottle of champaigne which was thoughtful. "Honeymoon week stay - best hotel in South Beach"
We stayed here for our honeymoon, the location is perfect, you don't need a car. This hotel is right on the beach, and on Collins and Ocean. Lincoln in 3 blocks up the collins and is packed with shopping and restaurants. Jerry's diner is across the street and walgreens and a bottle shop is one block away. The rooms were plush, huge balconies, marble […] floors, beautiful rooms. Don't get the balcony with the hot tub, it is so hot in south beach you won't use it. Great hotel, location, and staff. Couldn't have had a better time in South Beach and I never left my room. Be sure to at least get the king spa suite, there's a jacuzzi on the balcony!
"Z Ocean Hotel - perfect location"
Z Ocean hotel is one of the better hotels in South Beach. It is in a perfect location between Collins Ave and Ocean Ave and just far enough from the action that you can get some peace and quiet when you want. When you do decide you want to party the hotel is very close to all of the hot spots (you can walk to the Versace mansion in 5 min, as well as […] Mansion Club, and Set Club). The hotel is in great condition and we had our own private jacuzzi (roman tub) on our balcony. One of the cooler features is the pool on the second floor that has glass windows so you can see people swimming as you walk to the Front Porch restaurant through the lobby. "Excellent hotel"
Great location hotel just off Ocean drive. An art decor style hotel but very modern feel. Room was amazing with 2 x 30 inch plasma TV's, walk in shower room, bathroom, his and hers wash basin and a bar (yes a bar not a mini bar) Only downside of note was air con which wasn't properly working in my room. Would stay again next time i'm in Miami.

We stayed at the Z Ocean for two nights. It was lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful. The only thing that was a bit upsetting was that we had a late flight out and after check out we could no longer use the pool area. over all we are very pleased with 4 day weekend stay at this hotel. Customer service was excellent, location was great within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shipping malls. The upgrades to the rooms were excellent, the pool was right outside our room which was super clean and relaxing. Although check in time is at 3 pm, we had an early […] flight and had a baby with us, the receptionist was able to let us check in much earlier. "Z Ocean in SoBe - great rooms, super location"
We stayed at the Z Ocean for 6 nights in mid-May and liked everything about it! The room size and layout (King South Beach Suite) were great and unusual: quite large (500sqf?), open space with living and sleeping areas semi-divided by a "media wall" with 2 (!) large flatscreen TVs and a high-end stereo system, topped-off by a really big balcony which […] in our case faced the pool - nice! There are no direct ocean-view rooms (except some roof-top penthouses with partial views) and the beach is a 2 minute walk around the corner. It is the 14th/15th St entrance to the long public beach and Z Ocean provides 2 beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella (included in the $21 obligatory daily "resort fee" charged with the room). The hotel location is perfect, at the quiet end of Ocean Drive, but within short walking distance to the area´s nightlife spots and shopping / dining on Lincoln road. For casual breakfasts / lunches, the Z Ocean´s own Front Porch Cafe is perfect. Overall, I can warmly recommend the Z Ocean (the rate I was able to get was great, too!) Lisez la suite
"TOTALLY SURPRISING EXPERIENCE"
This was an amazing value for the quality and service. The room was unlike any room we have stayed in, very modern, yet homey. Huge balcony. Even though our room was on the street there was no sound from outside. I have already recommended this hotel to several friends

What a great experience we had last week at the Z Ocean Hotel in South Beach! The hotel was excellent...great rooms, excellent location, staff was incredible and restaurant was perfect. Whenever we called for something to be brought to the room (hangers, more towels, etc.) they were brought within minutes during a sold out Easter Weekend. The pool was […] lovely and large for South Beach...the staff replaces clean towels immediately, the service and chairs/towel on the beach were perfect...the food and location of "The Front Porch Cafe" was also excellent. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The location is the best! Clean, friendly, excellent staff, great new, rooms with all amenities, a great stairway from the pool to the beach...we were so happy we selected this property...an incredible value for the experience. This hotel had a great room, absolutely huge, with lots of towels in the bathroom. Right on the South Beach strip and a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Lincoln Ave. Hotel staff were very friendly. There is no ocean view, and the lobby is a bit strong smelling (incense). Other than that a great place to stay.

The closest to Art Deco area and a fab nightlife, but on the edge of the block in modern hotel without view. Pool is amazing, especially if you are lucky enough to get a room that walks out to the pool. Just across is the beautiful beach with valet beach service compris! Cab drivers won't have heard of the Crowne Plaza--only the Z Ocean. Sort of hard […] to find with a really incognito entrance. Beautiful rooms with lots of space and 2 TVs and huge bathrooms and dressing areas. The Front Porch Cafe had outstanding food--probably the best out of the 10 restaurants we visited. The hotel was absolutely beautiful! The room was large and luxurious. The spa shower was very large with rain shower head and wall jets was decadent!! Two separate sinks, too. The sound proof sliding glass doors and windows were an added bonus. The view of the pool and hotel were beautiful. The surrounding area looks like it's straight out of a post […] card....the short walk to the beach is picturesque! The only thing that bothered me is that they charged you for EVERYTHING!! I understand having to pay $32 a night for having your car valet parked in their garage overnight and I even understand the resort fee of $21a day for towels and the lounge chairs and umbrella at the beach. But they charged $14 a day if you wanted to connect to their WIFI....and charged me $0.15 for local calls. I definitely do recommend the hotel for the comfort, luxury, friendliness of the staff and wonderful proximity to so many things....just make sure you save enough to stay here! Lisez la suite

Hotel was fantastic! Everything met or exceeded expectations. Ocean Drive is right behind the hotel, the beach is like a 3 minute walk. We had a built in jacuzzi in our huge balcony which overlooked Collins Av. Only disappointment was that the pool was closed due to "emergency construction"....:((
