I was very pleased with my entire stay. The room was very clean and stayed that way throughout my visit. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and professional and asked multiple times if there was anything I needed. The breakfast had an excellent choice of food--not just fruit and a donut as I have experienced in other establishments. Very nice hotel, very pretty, the lady at the front desk was sweet and helpful. The only complaint I have, and it's not really HIE's fault, is that I heard slamming doors all night long. Of course HIE is not to blame for guests being rude, but perhaps they can adjust their doors so they don't slam so easily, especially the door to the stairs which was […] near our room. We have visited Henderson,Tx a couple of times . Each time was to meet our new grandchild. The hotel is just great. The breakfast was good. The food could have been better. The coffee service is available 24 hrs. a day. Always a great cup of coffee Overall this is the place you want to stay when traveling.

First of all I must admit that this was my second stay in Henderson in 5 days. My first experience was at another hotel who shall remain nameless. I have to tell you after the shabby room at the other hotel for just a few dollars less per night, it was a wonderful surprise to check into the Holiday Inn Express! The room was modern, clean, comfortable […] and well appointed. It was such a relief to have this world class experience in a small town in East Texas. The room was great.When we were there the temp. was 100. It would have been nice to go swimming in their outdoor pool but the water was around 85 degrees. I don't know if they could have put ice blocks in to cool it or not.
