Somerville Inn & Suites - Somerville

Stayed at the Inn and Suites for a wedding at Somerville Lake. Didn't have much choice in hotels as it is a small town. Room was musty as it hadn't been aired out since whenever the last guest was there. Flies all over the place. Spent 30 minutes killing them. Tub didn't drain properly while showering (would have around two inches of water to stand […] in while showering). If we ever have to go there again, we will opt for the cabins on the lake. We did find a scorpion in the room the first night. Fortunately, we saw it and sent it to a watery grave before stepping on it. But for the rest of the stay, I did watch the floor pretty carefully when I was barefoot, since critters like that tend to have siblings. Reasonable rates, very nice clean facility and friendly staff. Excellent value.

I cant believe this MOTEL is still open, its in horrible need of repairs. Very nasty smelling on the inside, mismatched paint on the walls, We actually considered sleeping in our vehicle. Theres holes in the walls, bugs in the floor in the bathroom, no towels, no wash rags, and NO PILLOWCASES on the beds. The decor was Im sure late 1970.. The carpet […] was NASTY NASTY.. The family running this place spoke little english and we never saw a maintenance man or maid at all, We figured complaining would do little good, as it didnt look like there was anyone there to fix anything. The maid used our dollar store bag (we went and bought linens and pillowcases to use) and she used our bag to put in the trash can. Then she left one hand towel..... No toilet paper, or shampoo, or soap..Motel six would have been like the Taj Mahal after staying here... Lisez la suite

After I booked this hotel, I read some recent reviews on TA and they were horrible. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the room. They beds were great and the room and bath were both clean. They had been doing some remodeling, and that was not completely finished, and the repairs were not of the highest quality. We did not see any bugs as had been […] noted in previous reviews. Still need repairs to be made in places. Would have been just fine if it had cost less. We were comfortable, yet not perfectionists, so that helped. It is a lower middle range motel. Loved that they provided hairdryers.

This is not a great motel. Rating it as 2 stars may be a bit of an exaggeration. 1 star is probably more appropriate. The condition of the room is poor. Paint and caulking is sloppy; holes in the walls; mismatched furniture; TV at a level hard to see at foot of bed; very near frequently used railroad tracks; non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. For the price, it wasn't bad. The beds were comfy, the sheets were clean and so was the bathroom. It is an older motel in need of some minor repairs, but all in all ok.

great place. location is excelent. i loved the room and service. staff was realy helpfull and polite. i felt like a home.

as soon as i reach the motel i felt realy welcomed with lovely smile. great service and room are realy clean and comfortable. i will be back this place when come next time for fishing.

great place to stay with great price. staff was excelent. cean room and good location only mile away from lake. i just want to say i got real good deal. i would defenately coming back to this place
