Hotel vieillot mais relativement propre. Personnel agréable à la disposition des clients. Emplacement idéal à promité des différentes lignes de métro , de la Vème avenue, de Times SQuare. Pensez à réclamer des serviettes de bain qui sont distribuées au nombre de brosse à dents présenté dans la salle de bain.

Nous recommandons fortement cet hotel. Super vue sur manhattan, terrasse exceptionnelle sur les toits..fabuleux !!! les chambres sont très cosy, propres, vraiment rien à redire. C'était parfait. les alentours de l'hotel sont effectivement surprenants (zone industrielle) mais peu importe la qualité, le service, la vue nous font, tout de suite, oublier les environs. Même si nous ne sommes dans manhattan même, aucun souci de transport.....en 10 minutes grand max nous y sommes. c'est très bien desservi et en plus il y a une navette qui peut nous amener au centre de manhattan. Vriament nous recoomandons vivement cet hotel et si c'était à refaire nous y retournerons sans problème! c'est fabuleux !!!!

Hôtel très bien situé hors de Manhattan. Il y a 2 stations de métro proche (moins de 5 minutes à pieds) qui déservent différentes lignes. A 10 minutes de Time Square en métro (5 arrêts direct). Il est à 20 minutes à pieds de Central Park. J'avais pris une chambre avec vue, le TOP! Aussi beau de jour que de nuit et en plus très calme. Le petit-déjeuner […] offert permet de bien commencer la journée (donuts, céréales, gauffres, baggels, etc...) par contre il faut y aller tôt, il n'y a pas beaucoup de places assises (30 places environs). Même si le quartier de paye pas de mine je n'ai jamais eu peur le soir (je rentrais toujours après 23H00). Niveau qualité-prix l'hôtel est excellent. Très bon hôtel, confortable, calme. Petit déjeuner excellent, surtout les gaufres à faire soi-même. Situé à 15 minutes en métro de Times Square. Une autre ligne vous emmène directement dans le Sud de Manhattan.

J'ai demandé une chambre avec vue : jai eu le 3ème étage ( 303 ). On ne voit presque rien, uniquement le sommet de l'Empire state... Sinon l’hôtel est correct, proche d'une station de métro, le petit déjeuner, si on y va avant 8H est accessible sans trop de monde.

Une qualité de service irréprochable avec un bon petit déjeuner pour bien démarrer la journée. L'hôtel est situé près d'une station de métro à deux stations de Manhattan. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour les personnes souhaitant du confort et un accès facile en transport aux sites les plus importants à visiter à New York.

L'hotel est à moins de 10 minutes de métro de Manhanttan et le métro est a un deux minutes à pied de l'hôtel. L'isolation est quasi inexistante, vous entendez la télé de la chambre d'à coté, le bip de l'ascenseur, et vous faite un bon à chaque fois que la porte d'à coté se ferme!!! et l'isolation phonique des fenêtres est à revoir. on a eu des serviettes […] de toilettes tachées!! on a laissé deux petites serviettes tachées derrière la porte de la salle de bain qui y sont restées pendant les 5 jours de notre séjour. Nous avions contacté l'hôtel pour savoir s'il disposait d'une zone de stockage des bagages, et en réalité ils stockent dans le hall de l'hôtel à l'accueil à la vue de tout le monde et personne ne vous demande rien quand vous reprenez vos bagages!!! Manque d'amabilité lorsque quelqu'un appel pour avoir votre chambre! La papier toilette est loin des toilettes.... les enfants et personnes de moins d'1,65m auront du mal à l'atteindre, sans se lever des toilettes!! La lumière de la salle de bain était défaillante, le système d'évacuation d'air de la salle de bain était très bruyant. Pour le petit déjeuner, il vaut mieux y aller avant 9h, même avant 8h pour pouvoir déjeuner à deux sans faire la queue pendant longtemps, sinon impossible d'avoir une table de suite... Lisez la suite

Super bien placé grâce au métro, petit dej et wifi compris pour un prix rare à NY. Le quartier n'est pas terrible mais tranquille. Nous y retournerons en famille sans hésitation.

Très bonne adresse pour séjourner à NY. La station de metro est juste à coté, en 5 min on est sur Manhattan, 15 min maxi tout compris à Times Square. Le metro sur ces lignes et à cet arrêt est très bien fréquenté. L'hotel est très propre, le petit déjeuner bien. "Easy subway ride to Manhattan"
The hotel is fine; staff was helpful, room was clean, we felt safe. There is a very nice, new coffee shop half a block away where you can get good coffee and breakfast if you don't want to eat the hotel buffet. There is also a gas station next door where you can get drinks and snacks. Otherwise, there are no restaurants anywhere nearby and the closest […] drug store is 10 blocks away.It worked well for our purposes this trip and I would stay there again if we were in the same situation (visiting a friend who was living nearby). I think this hotel under sells itself for its convenience of getting straight into Manhattan, it is only minutes from a regular subway service that goes straight to all of the tourist spots - was literally 15 minutes from our room to be in Times Square. Hotel rooms are quite respectable, fantastic view of NY skyline, in the main it was everything that […] you could ask of a budget hotel just out of the centre. The downsides are that the breakfast is an absolute bunfight, it is free so if you just grab a coffee and a bagel and then go out for the day could cant really complain, and there is no concierge service - they will let you leave your cases in the reception if you check out and want to return later in the day for your luggage, but they are literally left in the reception and there is no security. It was a great place to stay that wasn't horribly expensive as many of the other hotels could be (especially in Manhattan), but is really close (few blocks walk) to the Subway where you can get to pretty much anywhere, with Manhattan being just across the river. I normally live in NYC, but have to be away for a year, but also have to be in the city once a month or so and stay in a hotel. So always looking for the best hotel deals. And man, this really is one! It's very very nice, immaculate, quiet, big room,. king size bed, big bathroom, very personable staff. The location is fine. People should not be reluctant […] to stay in Long Island City, Queens. It is the very first neighborhood over the 59th Street Bridge from Manhattan, and a quick and simple subway or bus ride into Manhattan...15 minutes to Times Square. The subway station is 2 blocks from the hotel. I picked this hotel because I thought there was on-site parking, but there was not. My mistake, but I'm glad I made the mistake, as I wouldn't otherwise have chosen this hotel. And it turned out to be not a problem that the hotel doesn't have parking. I was able to park right in front, and I noticed plenty more on-street parking within a one-block radius. Rush-hour traffic in this neighborhood is a pain, but parking is easy, and once you are parked, your car can stay put, except for one two-hour period per week for street cleaning. So once you're sure you're not in that 2 hour per week window (which is clearly posted on signs), you're all set. Also, the breakfast room holds 40+ people, there are many choices for breakfast, and it's available 6:00-10:00. Lisez la suite

Location is ok, 2 stops to 5th avenue with the underground. The surrounding of the hotel is not great, but we never felt unsafe. The hotel is ok but several things could be improved: (a) the breakfast is a joke, egg galette and strange looking sausages and that's it. All served in plastic cup and plates. You can do your own pancake but the place is […] messy after the 3rd guess. Not great at all, we gave it a miss from day 2. (b) the rooms are clean but you can see the cleaning was done very quickly (we constantly found body hair on the bathroom floor which were obviously not ours...) not the end of the day, but not great. (c) the heating/air conditioning machine make the noise of a tractor - you cannot keep it on at night. We were lucky the weather meant we did not need heating or air conditionning, but if you go there in winter or during summer, take hearplugs! Don't really feel it was worth the money. There were other comparable deals when I searched, but their claim to free parking was the main attraction. When we arrived, we were given the excuse that the Fire Dept had just shut down their parking lot, and the desk clerk nonchalantly told us to just find parking on the street. If indeed they had just lost […] access to the parking facility, you would think there would have been at least a half hearted attempt to accomodate their guests. As there was no effort, I believe that no parking is the norm and is just a false claim to lure guests. Also on our 2nd day, when we returned to our room, neither of our keys would work. Desk clerk offered no explanation, but changed both keys. Obviously it wasn't a defective key, because both had needed to be changed. I guess most frustrating was that no explanation was offered. Positive things: room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and clean. Also, the internet worked, AND was free as promised. The location is close the City and the train was easily accessible. Great location, easy ride into city. Great city views. Breakfast area was always hard to find a seat, and counters, tables, ect were dirty every day.

Hotel seems newly renowated and it's location vs. rates are well in place. Nearest subway station connecting to Manhattan is located only 200 meters away. On the negative side, rooms are quite noisy, since all sounds of hallway can be heard painfully well. Complementary wi-fi was working ok. An ok hotel for a budget-traveller.

The rooms were beyond comfortable and roomy. We got two executive king rooms, and they were larger than most suites at other hotels. The lobby is small, but the service is nice. It's perfect for just touristy visitors coming through town and not wanting to pay $$$ for close accomadations or going to New Jersey. Pricing was appropriate and very considerate […] given the services and space. Internet was fast, food was adequate. There is, however, NO PARKING. The surrounding area is very sketchy (but safe, I guess), but you have to drive around for a parking spot or pay an extra $10 for parking. Good location to access the city. The lady manager is very rude and thinks she has to exert her authoruty as the manager to all customers. Poor customer service.

Given the location I did not expect to be as comfortable and impressed as I was. The room felt like a small suite, beautiful layout and excellent furnishings. The service was excellent, unobtrusive and the room was clean and well kept. I had only one complaint - firstly, they do not have parking (five parking spots that are always occupied do not count […] as parking) and did not seem to be reserved for guests. Basically this is a street parking hotel and be prepared for a long search within a two block radius in a somewhat unappealing neighbourhood. Checked in to this hotel on a rainy 2-29-2012. Since I was coming by subway, was very glad to find the hotel only a quick 4 minute walk from a major train stop. The room was very clean with plenty of good cable TV channels. Also plenty of clean towels in the bathroom. Contrary to some reviews here, there is a small well-stocked 24 hour deli in the gas […] station right next to the hotel.
