Chambres propres et joliment décorée - lit très grand et très confortable - personnel attentif - seul bémol, il n'y a pas à proprement parler de salle de bains "séparée" : le lavabo est dans la chambre, la douche et les toilettes sont comme dans des "placards" donnant sur la chambre (même si relativement spacieux) ce qui ne permet pas une grande "intimité" […] + toutes les lumieurs sont "centralisées" (impossible d'allumer la lumière dans les toilettes sont allumer toutes les lumières dans la chambre) - La chambre est équipée d'un ordinateur et d'un iPad, malheureusement le clavier de l'ordinateur ne fonctionnait pas. excellente situation rénovation récente de l'hotel avec très beau rendu sur photos mais les détails ni sont pas du tout (les plinthes se décollent, les portes ne ferments pas ou s'ouvrent difficilement, sani broyeur dans la salle de bain...) et surtout le pire: communication avec le restaurant de la même chaine (Brown), resto fumeur au RDC donc odeur […] de cigarettes et de cuisine dans les chambres de 8 h le matin à 10 h le soir !!! réception de l'hotel ouverte de 10 h à 22 heures, attention pour les arrivées en dehors de ces horaires, réception sans téléphone...donc non joignable Lisez la suite

Room was very modern, staff were very helpful and friendly. The toilet in the room was very small and very inconvenient, no privacy. Bathroom was separated as 3 parts, one tiny toilet with glass door that doesn't completely get closed, no privacy at all, you can hear everything. Shower was good but also very tiny shower room, next to the tiny toilet, […] also with glass door that let the water come out right in to the room. It was annoying but we couldn't complain because the reception closed early. Reception is 10 am to 10 pm, earlier in the morning and later than 10 PM you need to open the front door of the hotel with the manual key yourself. The last part of the bathroom, mirror and the sink where you can wash your face, is located inside the bedroom. And all these are tiny, not very convenient. The hotel is good value for money at the good location near Rossio but just be aware that it's hard to find(there is no sign but just look for Brown something coffee, I went into the cafe at the ground floor with the same address to ask the location of hotel and it was the hotel itself. ) and quite inconvenient to stay. the small room (NOT the apartments) is the smallest room i've ever stayed in next to rooms in japan. there is no window in the room (only the bathroom with views of electrical wires) and the bathroom is very tiny. the location is perfect however and the coffee is pretty good downstairs even though it is quite expensive. i recommend the room for one […] person maximum and i wouldn't pay more than 55$ USD for the small room. Browns apartments are perfect for a short break in the lovely city of Lisbon. Conveniently situated in the Baixa/Chiado district two minutes from the underground station and 5 mins walk from the bustling Bairro Alto district which has a huge selection of good and reasonably priced restaurants. The apartment was well sound insulated so you don't hear other residents or indeed traffic, as the area is largely pedestrianized. We spent one night in a "medium" room which was tiny and had the smallest washbasin and nowhere to put anything - not our idea of an appartment. We then upgraded to an appartment for the next three nights which was lovely. It had a washing machine but nowhere to hang washing and no iron or ironing board. We wonder who would take LP records on holiday with them as we had a turntable in our room - I would have preferred the extra surface space this was taking up. The room was very high tech, clean and looked good but not very practical - there was no draining board in the kitchenette and the ultra modern taps were very difficult to use. The room is tiny, with barely any space to open our luggage, however it's right smack in the centre of Lisbon, so I guess that's what you get. The bathroom is not in a separate room, it takes up space right next to the bed. The Brown's apartment was furnished very nicely and everything looked quite new. It was in a great location and the coffee shop next door was very convenient, although expensive. We would have preferred a couch to sit on, but there was only a desk and one chair. It was very quiet for sleeping and near many restaurants. We were surprised that the apartment […] did not have a manual for operating the television, air conditioning and alarm clock. Luckily, there was a fellow at the coffee shop (also Brown's) who helped us sort those things out. This was an apartment in the true sense...meaning that it had all the equipment, but none of the necessities such as hand soap, paper towels, salt & pepper, oil, etc. They did provide two bath towels and hand towels and one roll of toilet paper,but no washcloths, kleenex or shampoo. There was also no daily maid service that you would have in most hotels. The room itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and there was a fantastic shower although the lighting was very dark making it difficult to put on makeup. My room was on the 7th floor and the lift was tiny and antiquated. Gaining initial access to the apartments was somewhat difficult since no one was at the front […] desk and I needed to phone them directly to have someone come over and deliver the keys. In fact, in the three days I was there the front desk was never manned so you were on your own once you arrived. They did not service the apartment at all and I had to buy my own toilet paper and soap. This accomodation would suit business travelers (although no desk in room) or couples on holiday better than single travelers because you feel very isolated. Leider hatten wir eine Baustelle vor dem Eingang des Hotels, die ganze Straße war aufgebrochen. Es war sehr staubig und tagsüber sehr laut. Aber wenn die Straße mal gemacht ist, dann ist es bestimmt sehr schön, auch mal draußen zu sitzen. Außerdem war die Seitenstraße des Hotels der Treffpunkt für Jugendliche bzw. Obdachlose. Es war kein schöner Anblick […] und abends teilweise sehr laut. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zenral, direkt an einer Metrostation. Die Fußgängerzone mit den kleinen Botiquen ist nur 100m entfernt, der Hauptbahnhof ca.600m, zum Fluss sind es auch nur 500m. pobyt sympatyczny, ładny widok z 5 piętra. Brak stolika pomocniczego - jest zajęty przez mało przydatny sprzęt komputerowy. Brak wymiany pościeli w ciągu tygodnia. Giną małe ręczniki. Cuchnie z kanalizacji. Przed hotelem obecnie "wykopki" - ciągną w ulicy instalacje.

A localização do hotel é ótima. O único problema é que a rua é de pedestres e está em obras, então peça ao taxi para parar na esquina da Rua da Vitória com Rua dos Sapateiros. Os funcionários do hotel são atenciosos e simpáticos.

We've chosen the hotel because of it's location. It's close to the metro station and you can visit the most important attractions of Lisboa in a few minutes. Since the reception is only operated between 10 am and 10 pm you have to call them to keep your luggage which can be bothersome depending your arrival and departure. The room was very stylish […] and had nice features like an I-Pad, a computer, a dock-in station for the I-Phone a.s.o.. We also had a nice balcony with a nice view. However, it seems that they don't really maintain their rooms. This is a pity since it looses from its caracter. Check-in was ok and friendly. They showed the rooms and equipments. Vores ophold var perfekt,hotellet lå således at vi kunne gå rundt til det meste. Lissabon var en dejlig by ,hvilket også blev krydret med et utrolig dejligt vejr. Byen er lidt slidt med vi bemærkede at der flere steder var gjort tiltag til forbedringer. Alt i alt et besøg værd.

Eine kleine aber feine Unterkunft in einer wirklich tollen Lage. Ich musste nicht einmal die Verkehrsmittel nutzen, da alles in Laufreichweite ist. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr extravagant, man hatte ein Ipad und IMac zur kostenlosen Nutzung auf dem eigenen Zimmer.

Nonostante pensassi che tutte le camere fossero dotate di cucina, ho dovuto scoprire che non era affatto così. Le finestre poi erano inesistenti, i rumori di fuori si sentono benissimo e di notte entra un po' di freddo. In ogni caso la camera era minuscola, ma dotata di iPad, iMac e giradischi (?!?!!!??!). Es un apartamento bonito. La decoración es muy moderna y funcional. Sorprende que en la habitación haya un ordenador mac, un ipad y un plato para discos de vinilo!!!!... una pasada. Al ser un apartamento también tiene una pequeña cocina con un montón de cosas incluida plancha, termo, aspirador portátil y amplia cubertería y vajilla.

De kamers zijn extreem klein. Wc en douche zitten elk in een soort kast op de kamer en achter en (doorzichtige) glazen deur en zijn beiden te klein voor normaal gebruik. Dit hotel alleen doen als de centrale locatie midden in het centrum en vlak bij de metro de belangrijkste eisen zijn.

Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem stylischen Zimmer. Die Lage ist genial und das IPad mit internetzugang ist auch sehr praktisch. Aber: Es gab keine Küche, wie teilweise auf der Homepage beschrieben. (Erst ab "Studio" Appartments) Außerdem war das zimmer sehr klein. Wir haben ein mittelgroßes Zimmer gebucht, letztendlich war es aber […] exakt so groß wie ein kleines Zimmer (+ gleiche Zimmerausstattung) So das kein Unterschied auszumachen war. Dusche und Klo sind mitten im Zimmer (mit einer Art offenen Glastür) in der 18 quadratmetern enthalten, sodass man praktisch "live" dabei ist...etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Lisez la suite
