We stay at the Fitz because we like the Riverpark. It is also a good place for gambling, looser slots. This trip, however, the rooms weren't as clean as in the past. A very nice hotel that's off the beaten path. The hotel and room were very nicely kept and worth the stay. However, the hotel is off the beaten path and a bit harder to find than several others in the area. As such there isn't much else in the surrounding area.

The room was good and clean but maid service second day poor including beds not made properly. Buffet food was not the greatest and food seemed to be put out from days before. The resturant was closed so the buffet was the only place to eat. The staff were polite but didn't go out of there way to help.

If your wanting to stay in this area Fitz is the best place at any price. The only complaint is no free Internet access. The best nights sleep you are going to get in the area.

As soon as I walked into the hotel, I was overcome by cigarette smoke. I think it is awful that smoking is allowed in the lobby. My room (nonsmoking) smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was clean with the exception of the bathroom vent ( gross). My room was next to the vending and ice machines. Need I say more? The furniture needs to be updated. Realy liked hotel, the food was great but the casino was not so good as a disabled person the long walk to the down stairs cashiers becuse the upstairs was closed due to staff cut backs was infuriating and painfully long. Was exhausted. Turned a great stay into a mediocre stay. Thanks anyway for the clean room and good food.

Check in time was 3 arrived at 315 room was not ready they said they would page me at 515 I went back and had to wait in a long line again to get my room. Shower head and bathroom handle of door broken room old and dirty. Will not stay there again.

I would not recommend getting the suite. It's overpriced for the condition. Had a 3" roach in my room twenty minutes after checking in. Hotel staff were very hospitable...good food on buffet, enjoyed convenience of staying in adjoining hotel and casino and not having to leave hotel..only disappointment were two full size beds instead of queen. Very nice room for the incredible rate we got !

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was that one of the lamps didn't work and the batteries in our remote were dead so that didn't work. We did get free breakfast and comped a meal from the snack bar with our rewards card. the snack bar food was good but the wait was very long.

This was an interesting and nice place to stay. We were traveling through MS and were nervous about staying near Memphis. Tunica was recommended. Our deluxe room had a view of the MS River and we had a nice view of the river during an excellent breakfast. Watching river traffic is exciting and awesome. The only down side was we arrived too late for […] the steak place (closed) and had a sub par chili dog at the snack bar. We left by HWY 61 (River Road) which was a cool sight seeing junket. Hotel casino is still a good place to play and stay, as we last stayed here 4 years ago. Fast check in and the off season price was great. Slots are paying a little, so had fun. The free seasonal buffet breakfast is still awesome. Would stay again.

passing through---- best deal around when we were booking....we really enjoyed our overnight stay with Fitz and will return! folks were really very sweet to us, servers were great, most have been with Fitz for over 15 years, room was quite adequate, chose the budget friendly room option, it was fine, slept like a baby, clean, very quiet, beds very comfortable, […] bathroom very nice, long tub for bathers delight!....food was fantastic, wow what a breakfast....as I say if you offer great food...people will come. Didn't like being charged for internet,if you eat breakfast, an omelet is the best choice. Complimentary drinks are definitely a plus. Very friendly staff! Overall, had a nice time.

The hotel offered no amenities such as fridge, microwave. The linens were soiled. No flat screen TV and after the room was cleaned we received no clean washclots, we were there for two nights. I would definitely recommend the buffet but stay at another location.
